Wednesday Sindiecate: Nexus
This week on the Sindiecate:
Steve Rude's and Mike Baron's Nexus!
I can't possibly express in words the respect I hold for Steve Rude's technical mastery of illustration art, so I'm not even gonna try!

Monday Sketch: Character Design Process
Boris D. Belgique of the Special Police Force.
Revisiting a favorite older sketch to flesh him out a bit, possibly so he can appear in a future story…? I drew him in his unders to better know what's under his standard-issue detective's overcoat.
Digital sketch in Manga Studio.

Meanwhile, On The Internet…
Two big comics blogs have posted articles about me today!
The Comics Alliance has been profiling a number of quality erotic comics this month, and today the focus is on my own Small Favors.
Multiversity Comics' Matthew Meylikhov has posted an interview in which I discuss working in a studio, working in Portland, Oregon, working with my husband, digital publishing, the difference between working on independent comics versus doing work for hire for the major publishers, and the difference between working on erotic comics versus all-ages comics.
Meanwhile! I am still taking pre-orders for Emerald City con sketches! Pre-order for sketches with a single character are 8.5″x11″, $75 for color, $50 for B&W/gray. At the show, sketches will be 6″x9″, color not available. So there is a definite advantage to ordering in advance! Write to request a sketch at colleencoovermarket {at} gmail {dot} com, and we'll arrange payment there. Fictional characters, only, please!
And! My short prose romance story ebook Home Port is now available on three on line bookstores for $.99: Smashwords, Amazon, and Barns & Noble. (Fair warning: Home Port includes boy kisses, man sex, F-words and true love.)
