Playing around with Rebelle
Goofing around with a new software application. This drawing was created with Rebelle, which simulates wet and dry media,particularly watercolor, to astonishingly lifelike effect. It’s not perfect; I haven’t found if there’s a pressure sensitive brush stroke yet, and the dry media lines have a little more jitter than I’d like. But BOY, it’s cool, and I could see using it to color something in the future.

Bandette Volume Three Makes YALSA’s Great Graphic Novels For Teens 2017!
We’re very proud to announce that Bandette Volume Three: The House Of The Green Mask has been listed by the Young Adult Library Services Association for their 2017 list of Great Graphic Novels For Teens!

Process video: Inking a panel from Bandette
4x speed. Sorry for the dodgy framing and my big dumb hand getting in the way!
I was having a hard time keeping a point on the brushes: a well-used Winsor & Newton size 2 and a Princeton size 0. After this panel I broke out a new W&N brush and spent far less time struggling to get a fine line! The paper is Strathmore bristol 400 series, velum surface, with inkjet blue lines. (The lighting makes them look gray in the video, but they are really a very pale cyan)

Process Post: Adventure Time Comics cover video
I recorded part of the process of creating an alternative cover for Adventure Time Comics #6 in Clip Studio Pro. The original videos added up to more than three hours, and are here compressed down to six minutes, so it may be too speedy to get any instructional information, but hopefully it will be interesting!

I’m happy to announce that after being out of print for several years, the complete run of Small Favors will be available in a handsome hardcover edition from Limerence Press!
Small Favors: The Definitive Girly Porno Collection, will reprint both volumes previously published by Eros Comics, plus the never-before reprinted issue #8 Color Special, plus a new short story, plus extras! If that’s not enough, there’s an introduction by the inestimable Kelly Sue DeConnick.
