Emerald City Comic-Con 2015
Paul and I and all our Periscope Studio pals will be at Exhibitor Table 1214, arranged as you see in this handy map here!
I’ll be participating in one panel:
Behind the Scenes: Making Comics
Room: Hall C (TCC 301)
Date: Friday, March 27th
Time: 3:00PM – 3:50PM
Comics professionals come together to discuss their unique contributions to this beloved medium. Topics include creating engaging characters with Gail Simone (Leaving Megalopolis), transitioning from artist to writer/artist with Joëlle Jones (Lady Killers), business management with Christine Mignola (Hellboy), self-publishing to book deal with Colleen Coover (Bandette), how to break into coloring with Kelly Fitzpatrick (Neverboy), and fostering a fan base with online content with Kel McDonald (Misfits of Avalon). Sure to be a great panel for the budding cartoonist eager to explore the craft of making comics.
See you there!

Halloween Heist!
A young Bandette reader’s mother has sent photographic evidence of a candy theft in her family home last Friday. Unfortunately, the thief was forced to make due with an American off-brand candy bar, as her favorite treat, Chocobolik, does not exist.
The thief escaped, of course.
