Raechal Evett is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she studied both Hispanic and Russian history, culture, language, and literature. She is a first-time published author of Cruel Paradise, and writer of many short stories located in a trunk in the attic somewhere.

I have a notebook full of story ideas, and a trunk of stories that I've written throughout my childhood, but the one that stuck came from a torrid dream one night.
It turns out that the story evolved dramatically, and in the end only retained a few main points from the original vivid tale. (less)
