Born in Hawaii, I grew up mostly in Alaska, and now spend most of my time buzzing around Hanoi on a motorcycle. I attended close to a dozen schools before graduating high school -- which taught me flexibility if not stability. All my life I've been fascinated by the mechanics of intuition – mainly so I could give a satisfactory account of my occasional insights.

As a boy in Alaska, I hunted bear & moose, trudged through snow drifts in blinding storms, fished for halibut in Resurrection Bay and for salmon in the Copper River. What a great place to grow up!

I don’t suppose this post will be very helpful to someone who actually needs this information. It’s too late by then and you couldn’t look for this post, since your laptop has just been stolen; however, I offer it as an explanation of the tardiness of this month’s blog post… and for whatever amusement it may offer.
