THE FIRE WITHIN has several themes woven into it, but It was mainly inspired by a dream, or a nightmare really; I urgently wanted to grasp its meaning! I was deeply challenged to expand my paradigms of thinking, and, in particular, a phrase written by George MacDonald in his 1895 masterpiece, LILITH, describing the "region of the seven dimensions and the ten senses. So began my quest to understand the strange esoteric concepts of mystical perception -- and relate them to my readers!

I'm quite a dreamer and I find that the same dreams replay in my head over and over -- I get kind of stuck in a loop until I write them down. So, writing is the way I free up my mind to dream more!

My current task is ramping up exposure for THE FIRE WITHIN. I have in mind two additional books, both of which will expand the scope and depth of the ideas and characters first introduced in THE FIRE WITHIN.
I'm also considering writing some books that focus on the concepts apart from a story line if there is a demand for that.
And I'd like to write some children's books.

Back in my school days, my English courses required writing an essay every day of class. So, three years of daily, mandatory, timed essays had their effect on me -- thank you Mrs. Hamilton!
Sometimes I feel quite inspired and can even write while carrying on a conversation with someone on an unrelated topic (while excusing my self so not to appear rude -- I just need to finish this chapter!) Sometimes, I don't feel quite so inspired and slog through it. And sometimes, it's a chore that I force myself to do -- those times, I usually re-write later.
