Star Wars: Episode III – The Parent’s Dilemma
Most of the Star Wars movies are pretty family-friendly. Episode III, by contrast, has some of the franchise’s most disturbing scenes, creating potential challenges for parents. I tackledthose challenges over at Mumbling Mommy; you can read all about it here.

State of the Writing: March 2016
This is a busy month, with all three books in the Sarco trilogy in play:
Edge of Oblivion releases exactly one month from today: April 15, 2016. The final changes have been made, the cover is done, and the book is currently being prepped for release. What’s more, the novel’s launch team has assembled and is now knee-deep in the work of helping me push the book out the door. The next month is going to be one of my busier times with the novel, even though it’s done. There is marketing to be do...March 13, 2016

Introducing: Launch Team Oblivion
The official release of Edge of Oblivion is just a month away, and with that last month comes the important elements necessary for a successful book launch.
Including a call for help.
I’m recruiting a team — Launch Team Oblivion — to help me lay the groundwork for April 15th. Each member will be asked to make three commitments … and in turn receives three benefits.
The three commitments are:
Write a short review — good, bad, or ugly — on Amazon when the book releases. Help to spread the word...February 24, 2016

From the Amazon Review Vault: Clockwork Angels
I wrote this relatively brief treatment of Kevin Anderson’s Clockwork Angels in the Fall of 2015, after blowing through what was an unexpectedly well-constructed book. I’ve since read Clockwork Lives, which is just as good.
A Good Steampunk Novel Even for a Non-Rush Fan (like me)
(5 stars out of 5)
I don’t listen to Rush. Never have. Their music doesn’t do it for me. But I do like science fiction and fantasy, and so, when one of my Rush-adoring colleagues (who doesn’t like science fiction o...
