I've adapted my NaNoWriMo guide into Script Frenzy tips
In late Oct 2009, I wrote a post about NaNoWriMo (My 12 Step Guide for Succeeding at National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)) that was actually a culmination of a 12 post series I had done the previous year. This post was very popular and had many retweets on Twitter so I decided to rework it so that it applies to Script Frenzy.
I have chopped it back into a series of post so I will be posting one every day from now until the start of Script Frenzy on April 1st. The first post in this...

Doing Script Frenzy? I set up a whole new blog of tips and resources just for the event
So as we discussed, Script Frenzy is a month long challenge to write a 100 page script from the people that bring you NaNoWriMo.
I will still, of course, be blogging about my own personal journey in taking on this challenge here at Unpublishable Pennings but I wanted to do a whole bunch of how-to type articles about the challenge and I didn't want to have Script Frenzy totally take over this blog.
So I set up a whole little section of my website called Script Frenzy tips and resources that...

back to editing Mistress Novel with Screnzy breathing down my neck
So after my little pity party the other day, I decided to get back into my story with a little thinking outside the box.
See, part of the process of getting an agent is having a summary of your book and while I am nowhere near ready to start querying, I realized writing up a draft of my summary could only help at this point. So I took 2 nights and wrote up a very detailed summary of the entire book, much longer than what an agent would ever need, but it forced me to go through all of my notes ...

In which I fall in love with Google search for knowing my name & spelling it correctly
So remember how I was complaining yesterday about a news article (and it certainly isn't the only one to ever do this) that spelled my name wrong?
Well, I went to set up Google Alerts for my misspelled name because it's becoming such a frequent occurrence and Google made me feel much better about the whole thing.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B

Clear Lake High School gets media coverage for The Love of Three Oranges
The Globe Gazette did a nice little piece on Clear Lake High School's production of The Love of Three Oranges last weekend which you can read here.
I would have happily posted it before their production but, sadly, Google Alerts don't do you a lot of good if the article doesn't spell your name right. But a huge congratulations to the cast and crew of that production, it sounds like it came out wonderful!
*sigh* Excuse me while I do set up a Google Alert for Hilary and DiPiano or whatever...
