Five clues pointing to a Kalquor universe character. Can you guess who this is?
1. I realize one shouldn't get involved with his patients--but some patients don't give you a choice but to take your work home with you.
2. I'm not a fan of long separations from loved ones.
3. Talk to me, please.
4. I shouldn't tell my clanmates 'I told you so' when it comes to the perfect woman, but...
5. I'll have to explain to my clanmates that I really don't like it when their boss visits.
Who am I?

TBT - Clans of Kalquor 3: Alien Conquest

“One man’s evil is another’s paradise.” Lidon sounded as if he quoted someone else’s words. “I can tell you’re not disgusted. I smell your interest, little pretty.”
Cassidy’s face burned with embarrassment. Could he really smell her arousal from several feet away? She had to get away from him. “I’m leaving now.”
“Imagine my naked body lying on yours while I kiss you deeply. Think of how it will feel to be covered by my warm body.”
She stared at him in shock. He was describing carnal acts! “Stop it.”
“My sex, thick and hard, pressing into yours, filling your flesh and making us one.”
“You’re an animal. Shut up.” She tried to sound offended, but her voice was too breathy. Even to her own ears, Cassidy’s words sounded more like invitation than repudiation. The images Lidon gave her had her heart drumming like thunder.
“My body parting the sweet, soft folds of your flesh, moving in and out of you, taking you gently at first, then harder and harder until you scream with pleasure. You have not known rapture until you have felt yourself joined with a man, my pet.”
Her breath came in gasps, and her panties clung damply to her aching sex. “I’m leaving,” she repeated.
“No, Cassidy. Come to me. Let me show you how good it feels to lie with a man who will give you more pleasure than you can imagine.”
She wanted to. She wanted to crawl to the dark, deadly Kalquorian. She felt an almost physical need to let Lidon pull her out of the vent, carry her to her cell, lay her on her narrow bed, and do all the things he’d described. The man was dangerous in more ways than she’d imagined. She had never known such an overwhelming urge to surrender to someone, an urge she dared not give in to.
Cassidy’s shaking hand pushed back a heavy tress that had fallen over her face. “You can’t have me.”
“Let me kiss you all over. Let me taste your mouth, your breasts, and your warm, wet sex.”
She had to leave. The temptation to surrender to his seduction was becoming alarmingly hard to resist. She was only a woman, after all, a naturally wanton creature. Like Eve, she would be easily led astray by this evil man.
“Goodbye, Lidon.” She turned her back on him.
“For now, my sweet Cassidy. We will meet again, and I will do all I have described and much, much more. That is a promise.”

WIP Wednesday - Maryam

Disaster strikes...
“What’s happening?” Maryam cried out.“I need to get to the bridge,” Kels called to the staggering Ihas, preparing to put him in charge of Maryam’s welfare. However, another thunderclap shook them, much harder than the one before. The scanner, an incredibly heavy piece of equipment, launched toward Kels and Maryam. There was no time to get out of its way. Kels swiveled, shielding Maryam from the impact with his body. Pain blasted through him, and he was driven to the floor. He instinctively curled around her, his only thought to protect the fragile Earther. For a few seconds, his body pulsed with agony. He was aware of shouts all around, of the floor beneath him, of Maryam squirming free and sitting up beside him.“Come back,” he tried to say, fear of her being hurt by flying machinery overriding the pain. All he could do was gasp. Her voice pitched high, she shouted, “Kels is hurt! Dr. Ihas, help!”

Five clues about a Kalquor universe character. Can you name this person?
1. I might be ambitious, but that's because I know what's best for everyone.
2. I could have lived on my money, but I wanted to make the empire a better place.
3. Councilman, ambassador, governor...I've climbed to the pinnacle of success. Let's not discuss that pesky fall from grace though, okay?
4. My Nobek and I often trade insults, but he adores me. Okay, he's not half-bad either.
5. If you're worth knowing, then I have a file on you. That's just how I roll.

TBT: Clan and Crown

Egilka looked over his naked, prone body again. The Imdiko’s eyes smoldered, and the hard planes of his face softened as desire announced itself on his expression. Clajak’s heart sped up to see the bald want on Egilka’s face. How many of his fantasies of Egilka had included him looking at Clajak that very way? Too many to count. Now that it had finally happened, Clajak was in no position to capitalize on it. You sneaky bastard. You’re supposed to be on your knees before me, looking up at me like that. Eager to please me and be pleasured in return ... not eager to make me pay. Egilka stared at Clajak’s cocks. Egilka’s hurt feelings, Clajak’s parents’ disappointment, and the coming punishment had done nothing to diminish their hard demand. Long, thick, and glistening with arousal fluids, they jerked to be regarded by the Imdiko. A pearly drop formed on the larger one. Clajak bit back a groan at their persistent ache. Egilka groaned for him. “Ancestors help me.” He drew a deep breath, as if to gather his strength. With a more determined air, he said, “Let’s start with this.” The Imdiko bent forward, his lips parting. Clajak cried out, scarcely believing his good fortune. Warm breath enfolded his primary cock an instant before Egilka’s mouth closed over the sensitive tip. Egilka kept driving down, swallowing half its length before coming to a halt.

WIP Wednesday: Maryam
It takes two...
Maryam swallowed the sudden ache in her throat.Ihas eyed her, as if hearing her thoughts. “You realize a lost pregnancy is rarely the mother’s fault? That most are due to abnormalities to the embryo or fetus?”“I did all I could to ensure my babies were healthy.”“I’m sure you did. Did you have only one mate?”“Of course.”“He was tested too?”Maryam met his gaze. “He and my doctor were adamant that there was no need to do so.” Ihas started. “But if the miscarriages were due to a defect in fetal development, it could have been the father who passed along abnormalities.”When Maryam had brought that up to the doctor, he’d given her a stern speech on blaming her deficiencies on her husband. He’d been an unfeeling ass, but he’d been right. “My former husband had a healthy child with another woman.”Ihas’s brows rose. “Just as healthy parents can occasionally pass on damaged genetics, a man with flawed genetic material can occasionally produce healthy offspring. Any physician who didn’t eliminate all possibilities isn’t much of a doctor.”The thin thread of hope returned, but Maryam was afraid to grasp it. It wasn’t worth the pain of crushing disappointment.
No release date set.

Here are five clues referring to a character from the Kalquorian universe. Can you name this person?
1. I might limp, but I can still chase you down.
2. What's that scurrying about in the vents?
3. Want to play a game of 'I Spy'?
4. As my favorite book says, Make death your friend, for it gives life its sweetness.
5. Only one man ever made me laugh out loud. I clanned him.

TBT - Clans of Kalquor: Alien Rule

“I haven’t told you who he is yet.” Israla’s eyes sparkled with deviltry. “Lucky girl, it’s Crown Prince Clajak who calls for you.”
Jessica stopped cold. Her eyes widened in shock. Israla laughed out loud at her reaction.
“The son of the Imperial Clan? The next in line to be emperor? You didn’t tell me the heirs to the throne of Kalquor would be in attendance tonight!”
Israla nearly danced with delight at Jessica’s surprise. “You and Michaela were nervous enough. Neither of you would have danced one step had you known they were here.”
Jessica tried to swallow. Her dry throat clicked. A prince! Israla was the Plasian leader, but she was an elected official, not royalty.
The future emperor! Take that, Steel-Hair, Jessica thought smugly. Then her face flamed with the memory of the liberty his clan had taken with her during the show. The prince had no doubt seen how easily she succumbed to their ravishing.
Maybe that’s what got his attention, she thought. After all, few worlds were as uptight as Earth. Earther overbearing morality was something of a joke to other sentients. Besides, Kalquor had close ties with Plasius, the most sensual planet of them all. Kalquorian men were not prudes by any stretch of the imagination. She’d seen what Steel-Hair’s Imdiko clanmate had done with a Plasian at the performance.
“How do I address the prince?” Jessica asked. Her voice came out weak and trembly. “I’ve never met royalty before.”
Israla waved off her concern. Grabbing Jessica’s hand, she tugged her down the hall toward the last door at the end. “Call him by his name. Kalquorians don’t stand on much ceremony outside of official meetings. Treat Clajak as what he is ... a sexy lusty man who is eager to bed you.”
Coming to a halt before the door behind which Jessica’s future awaited, Israla chimed the visitor announce button. The door slid open without waiting for her to identify herself. She swept into the room, pulling Jessica with her.
“Hello, my friend,” she greeted the tall, muscular Kalquorian who stood waiting in the middle of the room. “Here she is.”
Jessica’s hopeful smile faded as she looked at the Crown Prince of Kalquor. It was Steel-Hair.
