Amazon Review #2
Not a very good review, but I like it anyway! I think that this is a reaction that some people will have to Operation Cosmic Teapot. :)

Developing Character
I’ve been planning out my next project, The Julian Calendar. I have a pretty good idea of how the story looks, over all. I know where the characters have to go and what they need to do. I even thought that I knew how the main character would behave. He is Julius Caesar, after all. Isn’t he bold and heroic? A type-A personality through and through? I have never thought of Caesar any other way. Until today.

Why an Edit-err?
Written by: L.J. Andrews
Hire an Editor. Please.
In today's writing world really anyone can publish a novel. Some people do it within hours. Fantastic. So for those who spent weeks, months, even years on their manuscripts how can you distinguish yourselves above...well above all the slush to be blunt?
The easiest way to stand out is to have a clean, error free manuscript. I'm sure you've heard it before, but you have a neighbor who got an 'A' in high school English so you're having them read...

The Experiment
I’ve decided to conduct a little writing experiment. I’m going to write something in episodes. Think of it as a TV series in book format.
I’ll admit, the point is of doing this is to support book sales of Operation Cosmic Teapot. The series can be used for a landing pad (an idea discussed in #indiewrite) and the first few episodes will be published for free, to allow people to evaluate my writing.
Anyhow, I’ve decided to focus on this Julius Caesar/time travelling business. This idea that tim...

Just a Little Venting
I knew it was coming. I knew that a large number of people wouldn’t want to help me with my book because of the topic. For the most part it doesn’t bother me, but there are two instances where it did.
First, I had an interview lined up to help promote the book. Great, I thought. This was a good start. It was a video interview. So, this person sent me a list of questions and I was to answer them on camera. I thought that it sounded like a good idea. If you know anything about me, you know that...

Alicia Hooper Interviews Me
This weekend, I sat down with Dylan to gain some behind-the-scenes insights into his daring new novel. Let’s get philosophical.
Hi, Dylan. You grew up with a rich and varied artistic life; you were an artist, a musician, a radio announcer. What made youfinally decide to head the call and start writing your novel?
I actually don’t think I grew up with a rich background in arts. While it wasn’t my intention to be artsy, I started taking writing seriously six years ago. I started by writing a re...

Interview with Alicia Hooper
With Alicia Hooper
Aisha La Rosa is stained by history. Born to parents expelled from Libya after the 1969 Libyan coup d’état, her identification between conflicting national boundaries torments her in a Europe haunted by political violence.
Alicia Hooper has some experience traveling, and living in, the Middle East. Tell us a little bit about those places.

Consciousness?
About five years ago, in the conventional way of thinking, I listened to an interview on CBC Radio about how time may not exist. In fact, there are some fundamental problems with time.

Why Indie?
Written by Deanna Dee
I’d like to say I went indie for all the traditional reasons. I’ve read many author interviews of self-published authors, and one question that comes up a lot is “why indie?” Answers often have key elements in common—power over content, royalty rates, freedom with deadlines. I can’t say I’m too different. I like the royalty rates offered by self-publishing. The deadline freedom isn’t bad either, but I’d say that my biggest reason for going indie is having complete power...
