Writing. Like a Boss.

The day has flown by, mainly because I spent most of every waking moment expanding, editing, and improving Interview With A Werewolf. Well, I also played a mission in my new game, Phantasy Star Portable 2 on my PSP, and installed Skyrim on my tablet just to see if I could (I can. It works perfectly).

But otherwise, that was my day.

Writing.

Like a boss.

Tomorrow will most likely be more of the same.

Maybe a little less obsessive.

Or maybe a little more. Who knows. I really want to finish this rough draft so I can jump on the revisions, and then the Nephilim series proper.

But it will be a Sunday, so…

Goodnight, beloveds.

Be naughty. 😉

Finishing even if it kills me

Natalie (my assistant) and I were having a fascinating conversation earlier about the perceived equality and inequality of men and women. It’s an interesting topic, especially when you factor in things like religion and feminism, and if I weren’t so busy I would detail much of that conversation here, but…

See, I have this book I’m working on.

One that I thought I was completely finished with.

I know earlier I wrote that I had finished the rough draft of Interview With A Werewolf, but then my creative side struck and there was more I wanted to add to, you know, flush out the story a bit. So I’ve spent more hours than I care to publicly admit doing just that, and by Monday I plan on having this story completely finished.

Even if it kills me.

I’m pretty sure I’ll pull this off because I have a schedule laid out that includes a ridiculous amount of writing time, peppered with girlfriend time and social media… socializing. Afterward, I’m jumping on the revision for the first book in the Nephilim series – Nephilim: Daybreak – so I can start Nephilim: Prisoner. I’m not stopping until this entire series is complete.

(Yoda voice) Super-pumped, I am.

For now, however? A long, hot bath, something I generally don’t do during the week.

After I get out?

More writing.

And more socializing with you guys on social media.

Cause I love you.

Siempre…

A typical, boring day…

OK Alexaliens, I made the title of this entry extra boring to weed out the suckas – so I know if you’re reading this, you truly love me. And love should be rewarded.

So, here’s the deal: send me a private message on any social media network anytime before tomorrow’s entry goes up with the name of any one book (full list below) you want, and I’ll send you a free copy. Or, if you would rather have an audiobook code good for any audiobook on Audible (regardless of price), you can have that instead.

Here’s the list:

Please Don’t Get Me Pregnant!
Qedesha (Sacred Prostitution)
The Champion’s Gift (A Qedesha Story)
The Qedesha’s Handmaiden
Taken
Programming Sophia
Killer Lolis
Paying His Debts
Knocked Up in Prison!
When Daddy Was Away!
Voyeur: Season 1
Girl Fight
Phi Beta Pie
The Secret Life of Miel
No, Daddy! I’m Not Mommy!
No, Daddy! I’m (STILL) Not Mommy!
Cramming Sis!
Naughty Cheerleaders!
Cramming Sis! Again!
Amore
Nephilim: Daybreak

Compilations
Quickies: Cumpilation, Volume 1
Quickies: Cumpilation, Volume 2
Erotic Urban Legends: Volume 1
Erotic Urban Legends: Volume 2
The Qedesha Trilogy
Memoirs of a Nymphomaniac
Daddy’s Girl
Taboo Love
Good Girls Gone Bad

Some of the books I haven’t officially published yet, but they are still ready for release (which means you can request them if you want). Note that I couldn’t include the Bad Girls of Erotica books because that would be disrespectful to the other authors whose works appear in them. Still, that leaves you 30 books to choose from.

Have a great day, loves.

Thank you for reading.

I may be a Nihilist

You ever had one of those days where no matter what you did you just couldn’t seem to get anything productive done? Like the entire universe was just conspiring against your creativity? I’m not a Nihilist, I don’t think, but I sure started to feel like one as the day unfolded. 😀

It started out with my laptop going through Checkdisk when I booted it up, something I forgot I told it to do yesterday. (Thank you, insomnia) If you know anything about computers, you know this process takes roughly 12 years to complete. No biggie. I have a Windows 10 / Android tablet and a special HDMI cable, so I just connected my monitor, mouse, and keyboard to it and got ready to be productive.

Well.

See, I haven’t used my tablet like this in a while, so I had to sync my music to it via my external hard drive, and then Outlook took forever to sync email, and…

Long story short: it was a while before I could actually do anything.

While I was waiting for everything to finalize so I could get to work I had a friend from way back randomly contact me saying she wanted to visit, and after politely declining and rescheduling (I knew it was going to be a late day) Anne – who is finally home! – chimed in with shows like Naked and Afraid and Little Big Shots, which I had never really watched, and they just completely stole my attention. Especially Naked and Afraid. There is no way in hell I would do anything like that. Well, maybe if my big brother was with me (that probably sounds way worse than I meant it 😂) because I know he could pretty much deal with whatever came our way. But these motherfuckers were eating alligators and… it was just insane, and completely riveting.

Productivity-wise, I didn’t have a chance.

That was until I let my ovaries hang and forced myself to get to work. I put my headphones on, tuned out the world, and managed to finish the rough draft of Interview With A Werewolf finally. Kind of. I’m not sure if I’m happy with the ending yet, but I’ll iron all that out when I go through the revision stages. And I’m sure my editor will help too.

All in all, it wasn’t a bad day at all. Even though it had a bit of a bumpy start. 😊

Time to curl up with some anime and comfort my tablet for all the hell I put it through today.

I love you all.

Always…

Insomnia strikes again 😭

Yet another night with no sleep. I managed to take a nap earlier (for a little under an hour), but that was it. I just don’t know what’s wrong with me lately; usually getting to sleep is relatively easy.

Needless to say, this lack of sleeping thing is really starting to mess with my mind.

And my emotional stability.

Tonight, no matter what, I’m going to sleep – I don’t care if I have to drug myself with some Nyquil or an episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. This not being able to sleep shit is starting to affect my creative process, and that’s something I just can’t allow to happen.

Regardless, I did some brainstorming and finally figured out how I want to end Interview With A Werewolf, then sat down and damned near broke my fingers typing everything out. I’m on the very end of the very last chapter, and even though this is just the rough draft, it is turning out to be a beautiful story. I need to find a way to cram a bit more kink in there, but otherwise, I’m loving it.

It’s going to be a fantastic way to end the Nephilim saga.

Anyway, my eyes are bloodshot, my vision is blurry, and my fingers feel like they’re going to fall off, so I think it’s time to call it a night.

Wish me luck, loves.

I might need it.

By the way, if you’re curious as to why I have insomnia, I explained everything in a recent Patreon post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/17673134 Go check it out. Be warned though: the reason is fairly dark and personal…

I love you all.

Sweet dreams.

March 19, 2018

I’ve seen some things today 😲

Insomnia embraced me once again last night, so I decided to embrace it back and jump out of bed and attack Interview With A Werewolf (the final book in my Nephilim series, in case you didn’t know) instead of tossing and turning like I usually do. I had to rethink several plot points for the series, which slowed my progress some, but even with that roadblock, I managed to squeeze out 2,598 words and inserted some really steamy (apparently due to exceeding horniness) sex scenes in to boot.

On a completely unrelated note, I also sent the bestie random sexually harassing messages (even a titty shot at one point) just to throw her off her game at her new job. Cause love. Being my friend ain’t free, yo. You have to pay for that shit with sanity. 😀

Much like sleep deprivation, apparently. I learned this as I tried to struggle through the last half of my day, learning a few precious lessons: 1) do not, under any circumstance, watch Poppy videos on YouTube if you’re in any kind of mentally altered state.

And 2) likewise, stay away from videos about a YouTuber that has sex with her dogs. It actually popped up on the front page of my suggestions, and I have no idea why. I mean, what sort of algorithm is YouTube using to suggest shit like that to me?! I’ll be the first to admit I’m all kinds of freaky, but I’m nowhere near that freaky! 😀

On the one hand, you have to admire the steel ovaries this chick must have to declare shit like this publicly, but on the other, you have to wonder why she’s publicly declaring shit like this. I mean, why practically demand the spotlight on yourself for something like bestiality? What are you really hoping to gain from that? What are you expecting to happen? Is that really what you want to be known for?

I dunno.

White people are just weird.

(No, I’m not a racist, this is a joke Anne and I throw at each other all the time. It’s funny because I’m white, and things repeatedly keep popping up in the news verifying the statement. :-D)

Anyway, I’m running away from the real world and going back to the solace of Ouran High School Host Club where it’s safe.

Until tomorrow, my beloved Alexaliens…

The Life of an Otaku Girl

I was a complete Otaku Girl today. And I’m completely unashamed about it. Roughly 75% of my day was spent watching Ouran High School Host Club on Netflix, and I managed to get all the way to episode 18 before I forced myself to stop and write this entry.

I didn’t even play any Skyrim, mainly because I finally managed to burn out on it. As a matter of fact, I’ll probably be picking a completely different game as soon as I finish with Ouran High School Host Club.

Speaking of gaming and anime.

I plan on becoming much more active in the anime and gaming communities, something I should have done a long time ago considering both are two of my biggest passions, and there some pretty interesting groups out there to join. My biggest passion, of course, is and always will be writing, which is why I’m really looking forward to tomorrow: I’m dying to (attempt to) finish up Interview With A Werewolf, mainly because I want to finish up my Nephilim series – which is long overdue. There’s also a companion book that goes with it, but I’ll release more information on that later.

After Nephilim I’ll most likely jump back on Voyeur for a bit, then my Loliverse.

So many passions…

For now: back to Ouran High School Host Club.

Hopefully, your Sunday was as relaxing and therapeutic as mine was.

I love you all.

Pregame celebration

Tomorrow is Anne’s birthday, and we spent much of today kind of doing a pregame celebration. 😀 We were unapologetically lazy, irresponsible (well, I did spend almost two hours processing emails), and watching Pawn Stars and Little Women of Atlanta most of the day.

Tomorrow will most likely be more of the same. Since it’s her birthday, I’m going to have her do the entry, since I know how much she loves talking to you guys and getting responses. Kind of like a mini birthday present.

Now. Back to that email processing I was talking about earlier. I wrote Amazon a while back asking them why the audiobook version of Phi Beta Pie isn’t attached to the eBook and paperback versions on its product page like every other fricking book I wrote, and I finally got a response:

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

I understand that you would like to link your books. I checked your books and see that the audio book listed in audible.com and not in the Amazon.com.

Please be informed that, although Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and Audible are both Amazon affiliates and KDP helps authors publish or convert trade paperback books into Kindle format, Audible operates on a separate platform. Hence, if you publish your book in audible platform then it will be only in the Audible.com and not in the Amazon.com.

In this case, we don’t have any option to link it unless the Audible book is made available in Amazon website. Please make this change and get back to us so that we can link your books. I’m sorry about this issue.

Also, I’ll take your concern as feature request and communicate the same to our business team on your behalf for consideration as we plan future improvements.

I’m unable to promise a timeframe at this time, however, we are still evolving and feedback like yours motivate us to dive deep and unearth ways and means which helps us in making publishing on KDP a happy experience.

Please be sure to check our forums periodically for updates:

https://kdp.amazon.com/community

If you’ve any issue or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re happy to resolve the issue for you.

Thanks for your understanding and support. We look forward to having to providing continued support to you.

You should have seen how my eyes rolled in the back of my head. 😀 Here was my response:

“In this case, we don’t have any option to link it unless the Audible book is made available in Amazon website. Please make this change and get back to us so that we can link your books.”

Please explain this line. I have published over two dozen books with you guys, and the audiobooks have always automatically linked to the paperback and eBook versions on the Amazon listing page. Why is this one any different?

I’m expecting a form letter back but fuck it. People are still buying the audiobook version, so maybe I won’t press too hard (after all, getting them to link the paperback version with the eBook version damn near took an act of Congress) but still: it’s the principle of the thing.

Anyway, Anne and I (I’m spending the night with her) are going to pick up a bit and play some Skyrim together, so until Sunday, my loves…

All kinds of productive…

I was all kinds of productive today, even though my day started out a bit on the lethargic side. For some reason I’ve just had a hard time getting out of bed lately; it all started when the time changed. I mean, I get up moments before my alarm is scheduled to go off and turn it off, but after that I kind of just lay there and stare at the ceiling… and inevitably end up going to sleep again.

My brother always ends up dragging me out of bed and shoving breakfast down my throat before I rush out the door like an anime chick with a piece of toast hanging out my mouth (my Otaku homies out there will get the reference).

I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with me lately. I’m going to bed early enough… I dunno. I just need to force myself to get up, no matter how comfortable my bed is. I guess my excuse this morning was that I didn’t go to sleep the day before due to a hard hit of insomnia, which until now I completely forgot about. Or it could be my hormones. I’ve been practically climbing the walls lately…

Now back to my beginning statement: I was all kinds of productive. I slammed out a ton of Interview With A Werewolf, tinkered a bit with Family Camping Trip, and went back and forth with Amazon about linking the audiobook version of Phi Beta Pie with the eBook and paperback versions – something they’re promising to take care of it for me.

I also attempted to take Anne to the dentist (the right side of her mouth has been hurting her, making it difficult for her to eat), but we couldn’t find the place. We went to the address listed on their website, only to find out that location had been shut down a long time ago. Considering how much time this took, this put us both in wonderful moods. Those are sarcastic italics, by the way. In case you didn’t know. Highly sarcastic.

So, we rescheduled for next Thursday and finally made our way back.

Sometimes life just goes that way, right?

Anyway, until tomorrow my Alexaliens. I have more words to sling!

I love you all.
