Alexa Nichols is a full-time writer who refuses to stray away from erotica - the reading of it, the writing of it, and definitely the enjoying of it.

She's a lover of all things sexual and is a strong supporter of lesbian and gay rights - she herself is bisexual, though she does lean more towards the males than the females. Sometimes. Even though she does have a girlfriend she’s fairly serious about. Go figure. :-D

Currently, she is going through a severe Skyrim addiction and is reading the Carpathian series of books by Christine Feehan whenever she gets a chance.

She is also trying hard to be a good Goodreads member but sucks horribly at it.

She lives in Corpus Christi with her brother and fellow author J.C. Nichols, who she loves to spider mo

I'm Not Mommy!) that you think I badly need an editor, but why would you choose to further take time out of your life to come to my author page and post this question?

Seriously, what's your endgame here?

Out of curiosity, I went through a bulk of the 468 reviews you left from books you actually read (not just the excerpt) and found that you are one of those readers that is highly critical of the things you read. I've never understood readers like you, readers that instead of just enjoying a story feel the need to pick it apart and evaluate every molecule of it - and then attempt to humiliate not only the book but the author.

You are a reader type I will never understand, a kind that I honestly find disgusting.

Now to finish answering your question, when I first started writing I didn't have any editor - or even Grammarly. I just wrote. You know, for fun. Now, I'm in the process of going through my old books and bringing them up to snuff, but I've written quite a few, so this takes time.

In the future, if you ever have an issue with me or my works, please contact me via email or through a direct message on social media. I'm very easygoing (as you can probably see on social media) and not difficult to contact. There is no reason to try and publically humiliate someone.

The internet is a tool for communication, not a shield for cowards.(less)

Do I write what I’ve lived, or do I make it up as I go? 🤔

description
The most common question I get asked about being an author is how I write a story. Considering I already detailed my process in the Patreon series Writing 101, I’m not going to rehash that here. The second most common question, however, is (to me at least) far more interesting: do I write about the things I’ve been through, or am I simply making everything up as I go?

The answer isn’t as simple as Read more of this blog post »

"Moving from Texas to Oregon was a big transition for James and his younger sister, Ava. Making the move even more difficult is the fact that James is still grieving the loss of his beloved Grandmother.

"There was so much wrong with the story. No, not the writing. The dang jacked-up creep factor of a cultish mother cult that Anne Heltzel gave us as readers.

In less than 50 pages, I was already drawn into how messed up the book was. From spider nests " Read more of this review »

"4.5 stars

I adored this new YA fantasy! It weaves in a concept of time travel with it, and I love time travel stories. The concept is fab, and its almost flawlessly executed. The characters and the romance sub plot are also good. Its also pretty quick" Read more of this review »
