Communicating Emotions

When a smile lights  up a face,

Warms the soul, leaves a trace,

Joy and happiness fit the bill.

Halt

Sometimes misery adds a chill,

Frown and glower sets the face,

For despair we have to brace.

Re group

Try to find the bud of hope,

Nurture it expand its scope,

Don’t rail about the tides of fate,

Or sour yourself with dishes of hate.

Relax

Look inside for inner peace

Celebrate every kindness feat.

When a smile lights up a face

Joy beams out and adds some grace.

Letter to my ex.

Dear one time lover,

What ifs, past regrets

Peevish feelings, let’s forget,

If today l am feeling blue,

Why wish you, miserable too,

(Although in my heart. Maybe I do!)

 

When you left, without regret,

With no thought for my distress,

Taking of course the easy way,

You found more, compliant prey

(I expect, you think this is just repay!) 

 

What ifs, won’t change the present,

Just cause sadness, make life unpleasant,

So my one time man, we were not meant to be,

I will find something better, just wait and see.

(I have cleared out life’s debris.)

 

I have moved on, my life’s back on track,

What ifs, past regrets are, off my back,

If getting revenge was my aim,

Finding love and happiness- the victory claim.

(In my heart I am over you.)

Happy feelings, let’s not forget,

Today no longer feeling blue,

Having a good life in spite of you.

Changing Perspective

World expanding,hovering somewhere near the sun,

Reviewing hopes and fantasies, nearly come undone,

Moving away from darkness, misery and pain,

Pushing back the negatives, to balance beliefs again.

Changing my perspective learning how to thrive,

Developing self believe now in over drive.

Fulfillment, Functioning, Feelings helps life flow,

Growing, Gentle, Gratitude learning how to glow,

Willing, Wit and Wisdom trying to be Wise,

Exponential, Epoch, Elevated and Energised.

Dancing the sky, dreamy, souls entwined,

Our essence mingling freely ,bobbing wild,

Gossamar threads ,keep our essence aligned,

    Dancing the sky, dreamy, souls entwined,

        Spreading light, heating our desires tide,

            Aerial ballet, across the air compiled,

Dancing the sky, dreamy, souls entwined,

Our essence mingling freely ,bobbing wild.

Floating balloons, in a brightening sky,

Gossamar threads start to colour our divide

     Our essence mingling freely, bobbing wild,

         Suffused, in the  ever clamouring  tide,

             Wishing for darkness that’s no lie,

Our essence mingling freely, bobbing wild

Floating balloons, in a brighening sky,

We soar apart, flowing  back to real lives,

Happiness and regret our demeanour signify,

    Floating balloons, in a brighening sky,

       In this oasis of calm, our lives satisfy,

          Our fantasy life some would catechize,

The sun rises, the sun sets

A constant in our days lest 

we forget

Blue sky or cloudy grey

The sun is shining adding 

warmth in the day

Summer or winter the

sun is there

Adding the light for us to share

The sun rises, the sun sets

A constant in our days lest

Life through words and pictures

The tides of feeling

 ebb and flow

Fantasy, and reality 

side 

by side grow

I shut my eyes 

and all I see

Is your smiling face 

looking down on me

But you are oh so far away

Just a dream 

at the end of the day

I want to reach

and touch your hand

In my mind

I almost can

In this world

Fantasy land

You fill my soul

 with song and light

Add a dimension

that meshes just right

I read your words

and scour the lines

For meanings

that are left behind

We share some parts 

of our lives

Though a full account

 will never arrive

The tides of feeling

 ebb and flow

Fantasy, and reality 

side 

by side grow

But you are

 oh so far away

Just a dream 

at the end of the day

We share life

through words and pictures.

Lifes bitter sweet song

I thought you were 

my forever love,

I pined 

when you were gone,

I pictured

 your every move,

Not to think about you

 seemed so wrong,

But now, you 

are a faded memory,

I struggle 

to see your face,

I have learnt

 from  times legacy,

I am

 now full of grace,

I have found another love,

The cycle moves along,

The wheel is

ever turning,

In lifes bitter sweet song.

What makes you smile?

What makes you smile?

Is it sometimes naughty or

is it always pc, like in a laboratory,

Is it a combination of things 

that tickles your fancy,

What sort of  humour makes your belly laugh satisfactory,

Do the small joys of life  bring a smile to your day,

What makes you grin, lets do a pleasure survey,

What makes you smile?

Live in the Moment

Live in the moment,

Not in the past,

Nor hanker for the future,

It’s a fantasy repast.

This moment, might not be the finest,

But it’s the now,

Make it the best you can,

Make that your vow.

Don’t defer happiness by harking back,

Don’t look to others to mark out the track,

Find inner strength, find joy in repast,

There are morsels of pleasure amongst a lack.

Live in the present,

Learn, laugh and cry,

This is the moment,

For you to fly.
