It Is Complete
Proverbs 30:5:6
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
God’s word is perfect. He spoke it. It does not need you to add to it. All you need to do is accept it. It is our hope and promise from God. Read it and accept it for what it is and know that his word is full and complete.

Don’t Follow Fables
2 Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Well if there was a day and time that people are not following the sound doctrine of the word of God, it would be now. People care more about being told they are right, even though they are wrong. They want the church to change and be more accepting. If you don’t believe me, just look how fast people get mad when a preacher preaches against the sin in Sodom and Gammorah. They want to see Jesus as nothing but love. They do not want to see that he died for the remission of sin. They do not want the reminder when he said sin no more. They have turned from the truth and listen to fables. They do not want their feelings hurt. You know the truth hurts at times, but I would rather follow the truth than be told a lie and spend eternity in hell. Because if you keep following these fables, that is what will happen. I urge you to follow the truth. The only way you can do this is read the word of God.

Where Is Your Faith?
Luke 8:25
25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
In today’s time we are told to follow science. We teach our kids that science is proven, yet we have proven the science used years ago, was wrong. We do not teach them about faith. We do not teach that having faith is absolute. We are doing this because we have lost our faith. Where is your faith? The disciples should have known Christ was going to protect them but yet they forgot their faith. It is time that we find our faith again. It is time we have faith that God is going to see us through. It is time for us to know God is greater than the world. It is time we once more have faith in the word of God. It is time for the world to know where our faith is. It is in Jesus Christ.

Live An Example
Proverbs 20:7
7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
A good man holds himself to a high standard. They go to work, pay their debts, and take care of their family. They make sure their children see what it take to be a father. They make sure they raise them to serve God and teach them how to be a good man and husband. To be a good father, you must have integrity with God. Our sons need to see this so that one day they can be that good father and husband.

Remember God
Hosea 13:4-6
4Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me
5 I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
God gave us an escape from sin though the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He fills us with his presence. All we had to do was serve him. Now we have forgotten him. We have moved him not only out of school and public places but also our homes. We put everything before him. Think of that for a second. We put things ahead of our God. People that is a sad day. It is time we put him back at the forefront of our lives. It is time we remember our God.

The Lion
Revelations 5:5
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
This morning while drinking my coffee, I noticed a hawk on the power line. It was just setting there looking around. Other smaller birds kept flying toward it, but the hawk just set there. It knew that the smaller birds had no chance against it. A thought occurred to me, that is how our saviour is. He is powerful. He cares not what the enemy thinks he can do to him. This is because he is the lion of Judah, the root of David, the son of God. The enemy can never overcome him. He tried once and the mighty lion took the keys of death, hell, and the grave from him. The thing is he dwells within us. He is waiting on us to realize the enemy is just a pest. We are children of God. We are brother and sister in Christ. We serve the Lion of Judah and no little pest can cross him.

Earning Your Reward
Proverbs 20:13
13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
I have been so exhausted that I would rather lay in bed and sleep the day away. I could do that, but there is a job I have to go to. If I lose that job, I will not be paid. It is this way with Christ. We can be tired and not want to work. We could lay in bed. We can not tell the world of God, but where is the reward in that? If we are not winning souls, where is our victory? That is our purpose. That is our bread. That is our blessings. I know you may be tired, but shake it off and earn your blessings. Show God you are worthy of earning his bread of life.

We Send Ourselves There
Luke 13:27-28
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
Matthew 25:41
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Hell is real and exist. Would a loving God send you to Hell? No, he would not, we as sinners refusing to accept Jesus send ourselves to that horrible place. Throughout our life God will give you multiple opportunities to accept Jesus as your lord and savior. He created hell for Satan and the fallen angels. It was never intended for us to be there. However, man let sin enter into him and we had to have a way of redemption. God gave us that redemption through his son. He gave us the choice to serve him and be rewarded with eternal life. A God that loves you enough to give his only begotten son to die for you would never send you to hell. However, if you choose not to serve him then you choose to send yourself to that horrible and very real place.

God’s Loyalty
2 Thessalonians 3:3-4
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
We serve a God that is loyal to his children. He makes a way when there seems there is no way. He blesses us with food when we are hungry. He gives us financial blessings when we are in need. But most of all, he gives us a way for salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. God is so loyal and faithful to his people. So why is it that his people do not remain faithful to him? Why does his people leave his love to chase worldly possessions? It is time to remember who has always been there for us. It is time we turn our attention back to the one who is and has always been loyal to us. All he is waiting on is for us to be loyal to him and only him.

Believer Or Non-believer
Revelations 21:7-8
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
It is a simple concept. If you believe in christ, are born again, and follow his teachings you will see true salvation. If you are a sinner and non-believer, you will face the second death. An eternity without the presence of God. That is a scary thought. So, would you rather endure harsh words and be mocked for your beliefs, live righteous before God, and enter in to heaven? Will you side with the world and be with the world when they face the second death? I would rather be mocked and laughed at for following Christ than ever take a chance on an eternity without ever feeling his love.
