Your Time Will Come
Isaiah 6:8
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
James 5:8
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Today while talking to a friend I told him all I want to do is work for God. He said I sounded impatient and that I may want to be careful because God may teach me a lesson on patience. I thought about it on the way home and he is right. We get so willing to say here I am Lord send me. We begin looking like the kid in class who keeps thier little hand up to answer every question. However, we forget to have patience and wait for God to call upon us. It is great to be ready, but we have to wait for our turn. We have to wait for God to tell us it is time to get to work. It is okay to wait for him to call upon you. Don’t get impatient thinking he forgot about you. If he has not given you a task then pray and prepare for when he does. Do not get to the point where God decides to teach you a lesson about patience.

Husband And Wife
Mark 10:7-8
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
Ephesians 5:22
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
When you have to make a decision, who do you confide in? If you are married, the very person you should talk to is your spouse. You are supposed to be one flesh but yet most married couples run back to mommy and daddy to find out what they think before they speak to one another. Men, God said you are to leave your mother and father and cleave to your wife. Not cleave to your mommy and daddy for them to pamper you your whole life. Ladies the bible says submit to your husbands, and no I am not saying that you have to do everything he tells you to do. What I am saying is sometimes you and your husband will make decisions your parents do not agree with. However, if that is the decision God led you to, your parents will get over it. You took a vowel to each other and not your parents. Men and women stop clinging to your parents and cleave to one another as husband and wife in the eyes of God.

Love Your Brothers and Sisters
Romans 12:20
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Galatians 6:2
2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
We know we are supposed to love our enemy and pray for them. We are supposed to help them no matter what they have done to us. However, we have begun to neglect our own brothers and sisters in Christ. We have people setting in our congregation with us who are hurting. They are facing battles both big and small and we neglect to be there for them. Loving and care for those who attack us is important, but what does it look like whenever we ignore those who set in the church with us? It doesn’t look good. I encourage you to look around at the people at your church and know they need prayer for their battle. Love your enemy but don’t forget to love your brother and sister in Christ as well.

You Share Everything Else
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Netflix tells us not to share our password, but yet we still do. We will tell people how great a movie or a show is and that they should watch it. We will share our favorite foods and our diet advice. However, we will not share the news of Christ. We will not tell a stranger that Jesus died for our sins because we worry they may get upset. We need to get to the point that we are not ashamed. To a point where we do not care that some people want us to shut up. So if netflix wants you to stop sharing your password, but yet you still share it, why not share that Christ died for your sins. That there is a better way.

The Just And The Unjust
Matthew 5:45
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
When you pray for the healing of the lands, do you just pray for the Christians land to be healed? Do you leave out the house hold of the sinner? If you answer yes, shame on you. Pray for the sinners healing just as much as you pray for you brothers and sisters in Christ. We get to the point that we think we should not pray prayers for them because they are sinners. We should pray for the healing of their body, mind, and spirit. We should pray that all of our land receives healing from God. Weather they are good or evil, they all need a touch from God.

The #1 Commandment
Matthew 23:37-38
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
What made this commandment so important? It is simple. If you love God with every part of your being, you will do everything to please him. You will stay strong in your faith. It’s not hard to understand because when you love God you will want to follow every single one of his commandments and will be more likely to seek his guidance in life.

Chief Of Sinners
1 Timothy 1:15
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Jesus came to save the sinner. He died for the sinner. He took the keys of death, hell, and the grave for the sinner. He rose again for the sinner. He sets at the right hand of the father for none other than the sinner. Not one of us are perfect and every single one of us was the sinner. Paul accepted that he was the same as the drunk, the prostitute, the murderer, and the adultery. He knew that everyone who had not accepted Christ was a sinner. It does not matter what you were before coming to Christ, you were the same as every sinner and Christ loved you enough to die for you. So, when the sinner, no matter how bad they are, you were once the same as them. So I encourage you to move over and let them set on your pew with you. Shake their hand and tell them how glad you are to see them. Never forget, you once was the chief of sinners.

Who Sinned?
John 9:1-3
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
It is no secret that I have a child who was born with a heart condition. When he was born, I constantly asked God what I had done for an innocent child to be born and have to go through the things he did? I begged God to punish me and not my child. Then one day a good man made me open my eyes. He explained that if everyone was born healthy without any problems, would we see the miracle of healing. Yea, my child had to endure several procedures, but I have been able to tell people of how God kept his hand on him. Jesus made it clear that no one had sinned for the man to be born blind. He was born blind for Christ to show the greatness of God. Before you say that it is terrible for a man to be born blind just for God to show his power, I am sure the blind man never complained and was more grateful for his sight than any of us. So if you are like me and are blessed with a child that has health problems, know that it is not a punishment for something you have done. Know that your child has a purpose and God will use them for something amazing.

Follow Jesus
John 1:27
27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
John 1:43
The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
As a preacher or a teacher, people think they should follow us. So many will talk about how they follow what their pastor is teaching them, but they seldom say their pastor told them to follow Christ. I will be the first minister to tell you that I am not even worthy to wash Jesus Christ shoes. What he has done for the sinner, I can never do a fraction of. He shed his blood to give us eternal life. That is a gift that can never be repaid. If you look at me to lead you into heaven, I cannot. I can only preach you the word as god directs me to do. I can tell you about a man named Jesus who gave his life so you could gain your life. I can help you learn the right walk with him, but if you are looking for someone to follow to make it to heaven, follow Jesus Christ and not man.
