Only Two Choices
John 8:24
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins
You will die one day. Nothing can stop it. However you can die and open your eyes in paradise with our lord and saviour Jesus Christ or you can die in your sins and face true death. Death where you will never feel the love of God. It is a death where you will face utter torment for all eternity. I choose to close my eyes and open them to Jesus. I encourage everyone to accept Jesus and do the same.

His Strength
Judges 16:28
28 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
Have you been weak to the point that you feel like you can’t go on? Have you felt like you are unworthy to ask God for strength? The enemy tells you to give in. You are to tired to go on. Just throw in the towel. Well I’m sure Samson felt the same way. He had disobeyed God numerous times, had his hair cut off, and his eyes gauged out. I’m sure he wanted to throw in the towel, but instead he admitted he was weak and needed God’s strength and he was given the strength to destroy the enemy. He had to admit without God he could not win. Without God the enemy was untouchable. However, when God stepped in the enemies house literally came crashing down. So, stop thinking you are unworthy to ask for strength, stop saying you are to tired, and don’t even think about throwing in the towel. God will give you strength, Jesus redeemed you and made you worthy, and the enemy is nothing to the amazing power of our God.

White Lies
Proverbs 12:22
22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight
If your spouse asks you how their outfit looks and it looks horrible, is it okay to tell them it looks good? If someone brings you food that tastes like charcoal, do you tell them it was amazing? Is it okay to lie to save someone’s feelings? The answer for all these little harmless white lies is no. You tell the truth regardless of people’s feelings. It does not matter if it is a big lie or a little lie it is still a lie.

Life’s Meaning
John 17:3
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
What is the purpose of life? What is it we all must do? It is simple, our purpose is Jesus. What we all must do is share his teachings. We spend to much time thinking of what each our purposes is in life. We want a grand purpose that makes people envy of us. However, we forget how great of a purpose of serving God is. We forget how grand our heavenly father is. So stop thinking about the meaning of life and start teaching eternal life through Jesus Christ.

LISTEN
Deuteronomy 28:1
1And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth
This is simple. If you listen to God, he will set us above everything else. He will protect you, feed you, and clothe you. All you have to do is listen. That is hard for some. They want to do things their own way, but then they have to stop and admit they should have listened for God the entire time. Don’t be like that. Just stop and listen for God to lead and guide you.

Trust
Proverbs 11:28
28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
What do you trust in? Do you trust that your money will always be there or that your nice car will never break down? Do you trust that the economy won’t crash and you lose everything in stocks you own? Everyone knows that the economy has crashed before, the newest car has broke down, and money will lose its value with inflation. So, what can you trust in? Trust in God. Trust that even when your cabinets are empty and you bank account is zero, he will provide what you need. Trust that he will keep you safe and protect you. Know that if you walk up righteously before him he will answer your prayers. Stop trusting in money and instead trust in God.

Corrected By God
Job 5:17
17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
As children we all get mad when our parents correct us, even though we have done something wrong. However, when we become adults we look back, and if you were raised right, you are thankful that they were willing to get you back on the right track. You find that you are thankful they did not let you be lazy, get by with doing bad things, and that they handed out punishments when you was caught. You need to be this way with God. He corrects you when you are in the wrong because he loves you. He wants you to be the best you can be. He wants you to learn that certain actions need to be removed out of your life and for you to be stronger in him. So don’t ever complain when God corrects you, instead rejoice and thank him for the lesson you needed.

Righteous Poor Man
Proverbs 28:5-6
5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
In life you will see people who are never apologetic for anything they do. They feel like there is no repercussions for thier actions. Some have money and will buy thier way out of trouble. This is no way to be. You have to be willing to enter heaven as a poor righteous man than to be sent to hell as an evil rich man. You have to put seeking God before your ambitions for money and fame. Be the person that understands that everything you do has a repercussion and understand that an evil act will be judged.

The Cavalry
Psalm 34:7-8
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
In movies about old wars, where they are still fighting with swords and spears, the good guys always get pinned down. They are surrounded and outnumbered. Defeat is moments away and then over the horizon the cavalry comes riding in. It makes you wonder how long they had been there and why did they wait. Well, that is how some of us are with God. We feel pinned down and feel as if we are moments away of throwing in the towel. We feel that at any moment the enemy is going to deliver the final blow. We know God is there and he as always arrived and won us the battle. We ask why does he make us wait. We want to know why do we even have to fight the battle when God is more powerful than anything the enemy can throw at us. Well, without the battle there is not victory. Without the attacks we forget that we even have to trust in God. Sometimes we make decisions that put us in the battle and God has to rescue us, and other times God is just waiting on us to admit we cannot win the fight without him. Most of all, the battle makes us stronger. All you need to realize is that God is there the whole time and he will not let you be defeated. So, trust that the cavalry is going to arrive and the enemy will fall.

His Comforting Arms
Isaiah 66:13
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
I watch my wife when our children fall and get hurt. She holds them and comforts them. It melts my heart to see the love she has for them. That love and comfort is nothing compared to what Jesus has for you. He wants to wrap his arms around you and let you know he is there for you. He wants you to know that even at your worst times, he is there to help and guide you. He is the great comforter. All you have to do is just let him.
