About The Author
Almost as soon as Devika Fernando could write, she imagined stories and poems. After finishing her education in Germany and returning to her roots in Sri Lanka, she got a chance to turn her passion into her profession. Having lived in Germany and in Sri Lanka with her husband has made her experience the best (and the worst) of two totally different worlds – something that influences her writing. Her trademark are sweet, yet deeply emotional romance stories where the characters actually fall in love instead of merely falling in lust. She draws inspiration from everyone and everything in life. Besides being a romance novel author, she works as a self-employed German web content writer, as a translator, and as a faithful servant to all the cats, dogs, fish and birds in her home. What she loves most about being an author is the chance to create new worlds and send her protagonists on a journey full of ups and downs that will leave them changed. When she’s not writing, she’s reading or thinking about writing.

About The Author
Mohan Deep, is an Indian author, painter and Feng Shui Master. Mohan Deep is the author of ‘The Mystery and Mystique of Madhubala’ (1996), ‘It’s My Life’ (Novel) (1997), ‘Simply Scandalous: Meena Kumari’ (1998), ‘Eurekha!’ – an unauthorized biography of Rekha. (1999), ‘Four Options’ (2000), ‘Feng Shui for the Bold & Beautiful, the Rich and Famous’ (2001) and ‘Nehru and the Tantrik Woman’ (2002). After a sabbatical of a decade, during which he touched upon the lifves of people as a Feng Shui Master, he is back with The Five Foolish Virgins, a book of fiction, to be launched in April 2013. Mohan Deep is arguably the only Indian author to write what is often described as controversial, unauthorized star biographies in India. Columnist-journalist and former editor of 'Illustrated Weekly of India', Khushwant Singh called him 'a truly gifted gossip writer'. “The maverick writer”, like columnist-reviewer-poetess Tara Patel described him has also been called William Goldman of Bollywood’s stars (By Behram Contractor, the Editor of Afternoon Despatch & Courier) (Source) Kitty Kelly of India (By R K Bajaj, the Editor of ‘The Daily’). Interestingly, almost every book he has wrote/penned has invited controversies for its bold content.

County series. With over 7700 reviews and a 4.4 rating for the entire series, see why the Bodyguards of L.A. County is a multi-award winning series.Buy It Now!Amazon | Kobo | Nook | iBooksNew to the series? No problem! Each book in the “Bodyguards” series is a stand-alone title. Although reading the books in order is preferred, it is not necessary. Each title features brand new primary characters and limited overlapping secondary characters. Don’t hesitate to jump right in!

Read an excerpt from Deceiving Bella:Should we get started?” Bella gestured to the kitchen.
“After you.”
She walked in front of Reed, hurrying to the table to pull out a chair. “Does this work?”
“Yeah, it’s fine.” He sat down.
She immediately draped him with the black cover, wanting to get to his hair while it was still wet. “So, what are we doing here, exactly?”
“Just a cleanup, especially on my neck.”
“Sure.” She grabbed the sheers and took her place by his side, sliding her fingers though his short hair and stopped. “Oops.”
His shoulders tensed. “What?”
“Just kidding. A little haircutting humor.”
He tilted his head up, meeting her eyes. “A comedian.”
She laughed as he smiled. “I haven’t even started cutting yet.” She gave him a bump. “Try to relax. I promise you’re in good hands.”
“Chop away.”
“Thanks.” She combed her fingers through his hair once more, using small snips to freshen up his look. Silent seconds ticked by as she breathed in the masculine scent that was Reed. He didn’t seem to wear cologne or use any fancy shampoos, but he smelled good just the same. “So, how was your day?”
“Not too shabby.”
She worked her way around his head, finding his cut a breeze to clean up. He easily could have gone another week without any problems. “What did you do?”
“Worked a little. Boxed.”
“Fascinating.”
“I could make up something about stopping a bank robbery in progress or rescuing a cat from a tree.”
She smiled. “The truth is fine, thanks.”
“What about you?”
“It was pretty much a normal day at the office—a second-session tattoo removal, a microdermabrasion, two stretch mark reductions, the usual stuff.”
“What’s the tattoo of? The one you’re taking off?”
“A woman’s name. Genevieve. The relationship didn’t work out.”
He winced. “Ouch.”
“Triple ouch. Tattoo removal is not a pain-free procedure, nor is it cheap—and he went pretty ornate with Genevieve. Hopefully next time he’ll pick a woman with a shorter name or abstain from getting himself tatted up altogether.”
He laughed.
She grinned, loving that sound. Did he have any idea how gorgeous he was when he smiled like that? She picked up the clippers off the table and let her knees rest against his as she leaned in and gently lifted his chin, evening out his sideburns. She swallowed, feeling his breath on her skin and his eyes studying her face. Licking her lips, she met his gaze. “You better hope I get this part right, or you’ll have to tilt your head for the next four days.”
He sent her another one of his pulse-pounding smiles. “You’ll have to help me decide if I should lean more to the left or right.”
Oh, this cutie had the potential to be trouble. Her eyes darted to his mouth mere inches from hers as his five o’clock shadow tormented her sensitized fingers. She took a step back and a steadying breath. It was a good thing they were just friends—currently the only relationship status she was interested in.Did you enjoy the excerpt? You can read the first chapter on my website, www.catebeauman.com, or you can finish the whole book with the links below! Amazon | Kobo | Nook | iBooks
The Unofficial Deceiving Bella SoundtrackI love music! I can’t imagine a world without catchy tunes playing, especially when I’m writing. Music is inspiration. Melodies, beats, and the mood of each song help me portray emotions and feelings as I tell a story. It’s a rare day when I don’t have my headphones in place, bopping my head, while my fingers race across the keyboard. You can listen to the “soundtrack” for each book on my website www.catebeauman.com.The soundtrack, of sorts, for Deceiving Bella:
Favorite Song by Ben Rector
Lay It All On Me by Rudimental w/Ed Sheeran
Into You by Ariana Grande
Cake by the Ocean by DNCE
Truth by Steve Moakler
Any Other Name by Thomas Newman
Rock Bottom by Hailee Steinfeld
All I Want by Kodaline
Crash by Usher

Interview with Lucia Walinchus author of How to raise a smartass?
Hello readersToday we shall meet the author of the How to raise a smartass?
Hi Lucia Welcome to the virtual tete a tete
How did you pick the subject of your book?
I think anyone’s who’s dealt with small children knows how funny and exasperating they can be at the same time. They are incredibly literal, and yet they try to parrot all that you do.
For instance, the other day my three-year-old came into my office from helping my husband cook dinner and and dutifully told me, “Daddy says he needs a beer while he grills.”
Five minutes later she came back to inform me: “I need a juice box to help daddy grill.”
2. How did you overcome the challenges of writing about a baby?
Getting up at 1 a.m. to feed is pretty crazy. Thankfully the baby won't tell on me when I get into the Reese’s Puffs at that hour for a snack.
In all seriousness though, I think there aren't many books about small children because of the logistical difficulty of portraying their thoughts. But even though they are nonverbal, babies can still be some of the most fascinating characters if you take the time to consider their curiosity and emotions.
3. What kinds of books do you like to read?
I think the ideal book is enjoyable and helps you learn a little something, too. This year I did a “Goodreads” challenge to read a book a week, and I’m glad I did. In the past several months I’ve taken a tour through Europe (via Dan Brown’s “Inferno,”) learned ways to keep my mind active (Ken Kosik’s “Outsmarting Alzheimer’s,”) and explored the mysteries of mechanics (via Randall Munroe’s “Thing Explainer.”)
4. If you could meet a famous person in history, who would it be?
I would love to see Mother Teresa of Kolkata. I just watched her whole canonization mass. I think she has inspired so many women to take the lead in helping others.
5. What is your next project?
He is cuddling on my chest right now as I type this. Right now I am adjusting to life with a new baby but once we get into a routine I look forward to searching for a new project.
GIVEAWAY:
Prizes: Win a copy of How To Raise a Smart Ass and/or a $25 GC to spend at My Spreadshirt Shop (5 winners - print for USA, ebook for int’l) Ends Nov 12a Rafflecopter giveaway

Ask Me AgainBy H.M. ShanderGenre: Contemporary Romance/Women's Fiction

After years of walking on eggshells and feeling trapped in her unhappy marriage, 30-something year old Charlotte feels alone and unwanted. She longs for a time when she was happy and truly loved. When her world is turned upside down by a broken waterline, the true loneliness of her life becomes overwhelming. How did she end up here? Andrew is a good-looking, Russian man with the heart of gold and the ability to make Charlotte’s heart come alive after years of it slowly tapping along. When he shows up on her doorstep as the Project Manager in charge of repairing her flooded home, it seems she will have to fight hard against her feelings. She’s married and he’s engaged, and they have a history. It’s been more than 13 years since Andrew and Charlotte broke up, but that doesn’t mean the past is forgotten. The more time they spend together repairing the house, the harder it becomes to resist their intoxicating chemistry. Through death, lies and betrayals, Charlotte leans on Andrew, finding solace in the fact that she never needs to hide herself from him. When a huge loss pushes her to the edge and makes her question everything, she has to decide if she should stay in the life she’s created and make the best of it, or risk it all for a second chance at true happiness.
About the Author

I’ve been writing since I was fourteen. My original stories were handwritten on loose-leaf paper tied together with yarn, complete with its own custom cover courtesy of cut-outs from whatever magazines I had around.
My early love developed into a passion for writing contemporary romance novels. Now, as an adult who has experienced reality (not like my wildly naïve fourteen-year-old self) my characters overcome tough odds, with real (and dark) obstacles. However, the rewards are sweeter.
My heroes who are swoon-worthy and handsome and gentle, who have their own issues. No domineering alpha-males from me – I’ll leave those to many other wonderful authors I know and adore. My heroines are less than perfect with a very select few she’ll call friends. She’s neither popular nor outgoing but deeply loved by those lucky enough to know her.
Right now I am hard at work on a sequel to Duly Noted as well as a second-chance romance story. I’m also tinkering on a novella which follows after Ask Me Again as I’ve received many emails from readers asking for more from Charlotte and Company.
It’s because of wonderful readers that I continue to write and develop my stories. I absolutely adore it when readers connect with me on twitter (@HM_Shander) because I’m very chatty on there, more so than my Facebook page (hmshander). However, regardless of the way you contact me, I’m sure to respond.
Thank you for taking the time to contact me, for posting your rating and/or review (because it truly helps an indie author like me) and for reading. Thank you to all the readers and bloggers who love my stories and share that with their friends, family and followers.

Review of How to raise a smart ass by Lucia Walinchus

Book Name - How to raise a smart assAuthor - Lucia WalinchusPublisher - PronounNumber of Pages -116Publishing Year - 2016Edition - KindlePrice -$15Buy books from Amazon
Rating : 4.5
Parenting is not an easy job. Well, it cannot be counted as a job even. Because you opted to go for it, it's your duty to complete it with sincerity and most important patience. Lucia Walinchus, through her book 'How to raise a smartass' tells us how this opted job changed her life for good. Apparently I am still to overcome the shock about how the pregnancies of two individuals can be the same. That too, two women living in two different place, two different continents for that matter. Like Lucia, mine was also termed fast Labour, like her my next delivery was emergency c-Section due to cord issues, like her I too have three kids, like her I too am the butt wiper category, like her I too had really, I mean really really bad time shopping with them. The list goes on and on. I'm sure we are not the only ones out there. There would be lakhs of mothers with a similar life.
One difference I could see in the whole scenario was that authoress is way too patient wherein I was the ogre type who lose it so easily. Hence the book can be counted on as an example of how we should calm our nerves and handle your kids peacefully. Sometimes I even felt if she is exaggerating, I mean how is it possible for someone to possess so much of patience!
When I read the title, I expected a parenting help book which tells you what to do when it goes like this and such stuffs. But this is anecdotes of a mother's life when three naughty cuties entered her life. Lucia has engaged the readers with her quirky, murky, witty narration which made the readers want more and more. Nevertheless, towards the end, I felt like there were a lot of repetitions or may be because I am a mother, the pedictability killed the fun. Or is it something else? I can't really place it but something was amiss.
Overall the book is a full on entertainer.
I received this book as a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review from the publisher.

The world’s seas and oceans are home to numerous life forms. These life forms swim, float, jump or crawl in the world oceans freely. Humans however continue to put the lives of the sea creatures at risk in one way or the other. Join Wiley and his Mummy as they tell you about one of the man-made hazards that leaves the sea creatures gasping for breath and a possible way to let the creatures live freely.
My Review
Poly trap is the story of Wiley, the sea horse who goes out to explore the world around him with his mummy. They start playing the 'I Spy' game wherein they say simple and short riddles about the sea animals around them. They see starfish, octopus, turtle, crab and a mysterious thing that looks like a jelly fish. What is the thing? Why is it considered a trap? How can we prevent it? The book Polytrap gives us the answers.
The book is very informative. Though it targets kids who are 9 years and above, younger kids also can enjoy the book and be benefited. The book creates awareness and urges the kids to lead an environment friendly life. The book is very colourful and attracts the kids. The story is narrated in such a way that the whole concept stays in the kids' mind.
The illustrations are the major highlight of the book. Niramoy Ganguly has done a fantastic job. The blue colour theme goes hand in hand with the story. The game I spy can played with our kids at home.
Verdict: A refreshing environmental tale that's stays in the kids' mind
