If you could have personally witnessed anything, what would you want to have seen?

Epic. Question.

First I’d like to be a fly on the wall on a few revolutions, specifically my favorite one, the French revolution. Storming the Bastille and the march to Versaille to be exact. Next, Martin Luther King Jr.’s marches, in Selma and around Alabama. Gandhi’s march to the sea.

The author in me would die to witness some of the greats actually writing. If I could just be a ghost in the room watching Dostoevsky starting or finishing The Brothers Karamazov, or Edgar Allan Poe finishing The Raven. Of course the epic boat ride with Charles Dodgson and Alice Liddell that would become Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland, and I’d love to see him writing and illustrating it too. Truman Capote writing In Cold Blood. So many chills. I could probably spend an entire ghostly lifetime spying on my favorite writers and be perfectly content.

Kurt Cobain writing Come As You Are.

Wouldn’t it also be cool to see the moment your parents met? I feel like that would be something to witness.

I know I’m probably leaving out some massive world moments but I think all of those would give my soul the most joy honestly.

Thanks for your question!

Okay, I am obsessed with you and your sweet puppy! Added you on Snapchat but are your stories friends only? I keep meaning to ask because you mention it every now and then on here but I never see any stories from you! Sorry for being a stalker- just love y

You’re so right! I just changed it to make it public. Trying to follow all I can but this is definitely easier - be warned, easily 70% of my snaps are Alfalfa!

No need to apologize, happy to be a source of inspiration. Following creative whims makes the world go round.

FYI - I’m @loveannapatrick whoever wants to follow!

How often do you meditate and for how long?

I don’t follow a routine, to be honest, I just see how I’m feeling what what I feel I need.

Most days lately it’s just 10-15 minutes. Some days I don’t at all, and some days I go for 30 minutes or an hour.

Keeping up a practice is a lifestyle choice, but I do think it’s important to listen to what your spirit is asking you for.
