Send a Christmas card to make a dream come true...
I just read about a 5 year old boy who is dying of cancer, and his last wish is that he receives lots of Christmas cards. Here's the bulletin, from my MySpace friend, Laura Black:
I was contacted by someone who has been a MySpace friend of mine for a while now. She’s a person, like most of you that I have never met. But during that time she has proven she has a HUGE heart. BUT don’t tell her that, or her head might explode. LOL
She asked me if I would ask all of you to lend a hand in making a 5 year old boy’s last Christmas Double Quad Rock for him.
And before I get to the reason I AM BEGGING AS MANY OF YOU AS POSSIBLE TO TAKE A MINUTE, FIND A CARD; Send it to Noah, and DO THIS FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS!!!
They are not asking for donations, but only that you send a card to show a 5 year old that there are people who do things for all the right reasons.
So prove to Noah that there are a lot of Santa’s and they hang out on MySpace.
Here Is Her Request:
*Thanks Laura...I really appreciate it! You rock!*
A 5 year old boy, Noah Biorkman, is in the last stages of a 2 1/2 year battle with Neuroblastoma Cancer. His family celebrated Christmas last week, because they aren't sure how much longer he can fight!
Noah's wish is to get lots of Christmas cards. We're all either parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, etc.... so please take a few minutes and ask your friends if they will help to make Noah's wish come true!
Please Mail Cards To:
Noah Biorkman
1141 Fountain View Circle
South Lyon, MI 48178
****PLEASE ASK EVERYONE TO REPOST THIS ON ALL THEIR NETWORKING SITES & PASS ON THE INFO TO ALL THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
THANK YOU!
( That was the end of the message and request for cards.)
So please show some heart and send Noah a card. I’m pretty sure if it was the other way around Noah would send you a card.
And I think for a child that is dying and doesn’t have long. That’s a pretty unselfish and reasonable request.
START THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT EARLY AND SEND A CARD!!!!!!!
And don’t do it tomorrow or it won’t get done. Print this out or write down Noah’s name and address now, get that card out today or tomorrow, or you might forget and it will be too late!!!!
Thanks,
Laura

Pieces of a Rainbow is now listed at Amazon!
Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know that my new book is now available at Amazon.co.uk (it says 'available to pre-order', but the book has been released so you can ignore that). It's available there with super saver delivery, so you won't have to pay postage and packing!
Get your copies in time for Christmas now!
It will take a little while for stores around the globe to have it listed on their websites. I'll update you as and when it's listed elsewhere.
Anyone in the UK can order it from high street stores, if you give them the ISBN number, you can also order it from your local library.

Pieces of a Rainbow
You may have noticed that my new short story collection, 'Pieces of a Rainbow', has now been added to Goodreads. Cindy Bauer, who was given a review copy, has written a wonderful review. Thanks Cindy!
I wasn't expecting the book to show up on Goodreads yet, as I have not finally approved the book for global distribution (I need to check through the final proof copy), so you might want to wait until I formally announce the publication before buying it.
It will eventually be available online through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other retailers and all good bookshops. Look out for my announcement, coming soon...
I'd like to thank my readers for their patience. You will be rewarded soon, as I have also now finished my second collection of short stories,'Love and Loyalty (and other tales)', and my third novel, 'Second Chances'! Both should be published by the end of this year/early 2010.
I also plan an exclusive competition for anyone who purchases 'Pieces of a Rainbow'... watch this space

I finally have my ISBN numbers!!
In the UK, we are having a lot of problems with the post, as the Royal Mail—our main postal delivery service—has been on strike on and off for the past month or so. Despite this, I am pleased to say that I have finally received my ISBN numbers from Neilsen, which I need in order to publish my new books. I have ordered a proof copy of 'Pieces of a Rainbow', before I approve the book for global distribution, and am very excited to have reached the final hurdle!
I have also finished my second short story collection, 'Love and Loyalty (and other tales)'. I have ordered a draft copy of that book from my printers, and if all is in order, I should also be able to get that book published in the next month too.
