What to do when your friend writes a book...

I read a fantastic article today, and want to share it with you. If you're a writer I'm sure you'll enjoy reading it as much as I did, and will take some comfort from the fact that you are not alone :)
If you are a reader, please take some notes from it, so if you are ever in the situation where you have a friend who writes a book you'll have some idea what to say and, more importantly, what not to say!

I hope you had a fun time celebrating the dawn of the new year, and that your new year will be filled with everything that you wish for and more.
