Shiver with Me in the Subdued Night,

As Breaths of Midnight Turn Softly Round,

Dream in the Satin Ebon Light

Of Eternity Singing without a Sound.

Tremble Beside me in the Delicate Hush

Of Twilight Painted in Lavender Tone,

Linger with me Beyond Life’s Pale Rush,

Amidst the Shadows, Together, Alone.

Sigh with me in Harmonious Song,

Of Gentle Splendors Unknown by Day,

Gild in Romance what E’re stood wrong,

With Your Exquisite Hands, Brush Cares Away.

Dappled Moonlight Around Us Dance,

While Love Boldly Stands Upon Glorious Chance.

This Heart has born,

Spin with me

In Dizzy Splendor,

Sweet and Soft in the Shades of Time,

I Dreamed Your Name,

You Whispered Mine;

Twilight of what once Fervently Blazed,

Now Breathless in Your midst,

I Sigh,

Amazed.

Long the Silence has Stolen my Voice,

Echoes forgotten

By Bewildered Choice

As the Shades of Time, Like Bleak November,

In tones so Hushed I scarce Remember,

Call My Spirit,

My Heart,

My All,

Lingering Fragments like an ebon pall;

Yet as Heaven Wonders,

The Shades of Time Renew;

Your Heart Recalls Me,

And Mine remembers YOU.

Fill the World with Love – #Inspiration

Today is a day dedicated to Sharing Love, Giving Love, Hoping Love.  Its a day filled with over-the-top expressions of sentimentality and affection, card, balloons, roses, and of course Sweets to the Sweet.  Ah Valentines Day!

.

Valentines and Lovers, they tend to go hand in hand, or, as it were, Heart in Heart; yet, Love isn’t reserved simply for Lovers, is it?  Love is universal, So today I wish LOVE for All.

Love that Reaches beyond Creed or Colour

Love that Blossoms and Blesses in spite of gender or choice

Love that Embraces ALL; rich, poor, clean, dirty, hungry, obese, sick, healthy, near or far.

Love that spills over itself in its eagerness to spill.  Rushing from the Giver to the Receiver with Joy that satisfies each.

Love that extends beyond the day!

So today, my sweet friends, Before you dive into your own box of chocolate or pause to inhale the sweet scent of your own roses, why not SHARE that love?

Share your Love with someone who least expects it.

Share your Love with the stranger on the street

Share your Love with that man that wanders aimlessly because he has nowhere to go

Share your Love with that woman with three screaming children who is struggling

Share your Love with that straggly dog or cat that wanders the neighborhood, homeless and unloved

Share your Love with ALL you meet today

Because in Giving you Shall Receive far more than you might ever Imagine.

Because in Giving, you Fill the World with Love.

#Seafood Pappardelle – #Recipes

If you are hungry for seafood, fresh vegetables and a taste of pasta, this dish will absolutely satisfy.

Ingredients:

½ cup fresh snap sugar peas – cut in half

½ cup fresh tri-coloured bell peppers – diced

1/3 cup Fresh Green Onion – Diced

7-8 Sun dried tomatoes in Italian Herbs, cut into bite sized pieces

1/3 lb cleaned, deveined, detailed Shrimp

1 lb mussels (You can substitute clams or scallops here or use a combination of all three) (YUM!)

1 cup petite diced tomatoes

1/2 pint half and half

2 tbs butter

2 tbs EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

1 tsp garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ½ -2- cups cooked pasta (I’ve used pappardelle, but you can use any pasta you prefer)

Method:

Bring butter and EVOO in a large sauté pan or wok up to med. high heat.

Add peas, peppers, and green onions and sauté until just translucent. About 2-3 mins.

Add Garlic, sun dried tomatoes, Petite diced tomatoes and cook 1-2 mins, until hot.

Add Mussels, cook until they open. (I use frozen, already cooked mussels for faster cooking time.)

Do not cover to allow the broth to reduce. Be SURE to remove any that do not open.

Once Mussels are open, add shrimp and cook 1-2 mins, until pink.

Add half and half, raise heat and reduce for another 1-2 mins.

Add cooked pasta, toss until thoroughly combined and serve.

Serve with a salad and some rustic bread or flatbread so you don’t waste any of the amazing broth.
