#FridayFeyDay – The Tale Begins – #Inspiration

The Tale Begins

When you Believe

In Your Dreams

.

Simple words, but oh so powerful, really.  How many times have you paused along the way because you had a fanciful notion, something you thought would be amazing, or Inspiring, but then, after a wistful smile perhaps, you continued on without ever truly considering the possibilities?

Imagine, if you will, if Alice never braved the rabbit hole or if Cinderella closed her eyes to her dreams and kept on washing dishes. What would have become of them? Would they have lived to see happier days, brighter tomorrows, or would they have slipped down the precarious slopes of despair?  Can you visualize how gray their worlds would be without the bright glimmer of hope emanating from their dreams?

Dreams are there for us to enjoy AND Believe in, or at least, that’s what I like to think. Too often they are shattered by the cruel hand of reality, but please let me tell you, without sounding like Im blowing my own trumpet, Dreams Really Do Come True, IF you insist on Believing in them.

Trust.

Trust yourself.  Trust the Dream that keeps whispering to you.  Trust the path leading you in a new direction.

Hope.

Hope in the promise of a new tomorrow. Hope in the Possibility that lies waiting before you. Hope with your full heart and Hope with Expectation that the Dream you Trust and Hope in shall Be.

Then…

BE the Dream you Trust and Hope to See.

A misty call from Dryad’s Lips

A tinker’s touch like feather tips

Brought upon a mighty roar

From magic steeped in fairy lore.

Sparkling light that Inspires Song

Chanting echoes from days long gone

Dance upon a Rainbows Wings

As Memory calls and Mystery Sings!

Such was the stirring, deep as yon’ pound

It shook the very forest ground

And our faerie hero came awake

A regal nymphadora from lovers’ lake.

His amber eyes with bejeweled glitter,

Colourful as Autumn’s litter

Sought the visage of his Dryad Bride,

But could not find her, though he tried.

A gust of muddy darkness brought

The sound of broomsticks from abroad

And witching hour’s wishful sight

Showed to him his captured bride.

Upon the Midnight’s brazen tide

The shimmering aspect of his Beloved Bride

Bound with gnarled ropes of leather

Captive to the loam, a Trollish Treasure.

A distrusted moon on the edge of things

Told a tale of magic rings

With Light that mourned the darkest night

And Sirens’ song to wrong the rights.

Our Hero arose with sabre glinting,

Baleful expression less than hinting

His wrath kindled, Wings ablaze,

His vision naught but crimson haze.

He sliced the ropes with his winged pride

And gazed into his lover’s anemonic eyes

She dipped her hand into his scaled-up chest

And stirred the bottom to retrieve Magick’s Amulet

The Magick sang it’s Sweetest Song

In spite of anger and in the face of wrong,

The Magick Whispered of Finer things,

Of the Mystery that only Magick Brings.

He spoke finally: “There is a prize.”

She drifted slowly, like a ghost, from his side

And nodded, while leaves grew from her eyes.

He faintly smiled, and kissed his bride goodbye.

Yet as the Magick played its melody

His wings grew rigid; then tinted green

As their Sweet embrace became eternal Rhyme

Twain became One, Clasped throughout Time!

Light Endures – #Inspirational #Poetry on #Morgan’sMusings

When All Hope fails and darkness closes in, Remember,

Even in the depths of the cosmos where distances are vast and no warmth survives,

Light Endures.

When Faith falters and shadows rush in to snatch and steal, to cheat and lie, Remember,

Even in the deepest reaches of the heavens where time stretches out to eternity,

Light Endures.

When Trust is shattered and fear settles like an icy mantel that freezes the heart and captures the Soul, Remember,

Even in the farthest reaches of space where infinity expands into the unfathomable,

Light Endures.

Morgan’s Musings is the name of the column I am now writing on a monthly basis for Fresh Lifestyle Magazine.  Today my very first official article has been published, marking 2/9, (once again,but thats another post entirely!) as a Blessed day.

Light Endures was one of my highest ranked posts from BnV of all time, so it was not a difficult choice to share the verse for my first article, and then to add a short expansion of the verse, giving a sort of behind the scenes look into what Inspired the poem and why I wrote it, which you can Read in it’s entirety here.

Thank You ever so much, not only for sharing my excitement, but for sharing my journey.  It has been so amazing, blossoming from not having a clue about what blogging is or how to do it, to sharing my very first poem, and then my very first BOOK, to this, now, today, my Very First Nationally Published article in my very own column in a well respected magazine.

OH the JOY is nearly Overwhelming!!!!!! I’m off to enjoy the radiant glow of the Light …that Ever Endures

Dramatic Flair upon Breathless Sighs.

Intoxicate my Senses, Sweet,

Infatuate my Heart and Mind,

Precious Gift of Life and Breath,

How Shall I repay this Blessing in Kind?

Choice is Driven upon the Breeze,

Bluster blowing or Zephyr Calm,

Blessing of Daytide, Spread your Joy,
