The Bachelor – Episode 11
We open on Girl HQ where it’s a serene morning following the departure of the Jen the night before. Everyone is commenting on how much more relaxed things are now she’s gone.

Single Date
Osher enters the house with a single date card. Everyone still in the house has had a single date, except for Simone who has consulted her magic eight ball.

It’s called it. Laura Of The Rings scores the single date and they head off for a psychic reading and a night at the Sydney Observatory.
The Psychic ex...

The Bachelor – Episode 10
Quick recap tonight.
Elise got an amazing single date, sexy kisses and a rose. Mark my words she is an underdog!

There was a super competitive group date where some people won and got some time and it was blah – bar Tara winning the night by eating a sausage.
Source: Channel Ten
I love her.
But the real story was Jen who spent the whole time being horrible and mean and dishing it out. She tried to stir up trouble, it backfired and so she noped the hell out.

She leaves with this little gem,...
The Bachelor – Episode Nine
We’re at Episode Nine and it’s getting to the pointy end of the stick. 10 girls are left and the police officer said, “I can’t wait till he gets to know me!”

Lol jokes, it’s you’re going home.
Basically, it’s that time of the season where we should be choosing our favourite and investing in who we want to win. It’s going to be a hard choice this year, I’m not wedded (pun intended) to anyone just yet. Let’s see what this episode brings.

Group Date
We start off with Jen, Simone, Elise and Cob...

Online Serial – Part Six
Part Six
Ice
Watching Aggie introduce our dogs to my house was killing me. She was like a damn kid at Christmas, running around the house, the big dog and little one trailing her.
“And this is where you’ll sleep. And this is my room. And this is Ice’s room. And this is the bathroom. And this is the kitchen. And this-“
I settled on a kitchen stool and made a list of shit we’d need. Beds, bowls, food. The size of King meant I’d need to invest in a goddamned shovel to scoop his shit, but I was c...

The Bachelor – Episode 8
Tonight feels like a filler episode. I can feel it.
We open on the girls recovering from last nights episode where Leah was asked to leave girl HQ. General consensus is that people are happy.
Single Date
In a surprise move, Elora gets a second single date – which makes most of the girls who haven’t even had one get very annoyed.
Matty whisks her off to the Blue Mountains for some hiking. She is NOT wearing hiking boots. They recline on a picnic blanket, eating fruit and sipping champagne. T...

The Bachelor – Episode 7
Tonight in an early family cross-over, Matty has asked his sister Kate to come to the Bachie house to interrogate the girls.
Well all except Alix who Matty invites on a single date.
Single Date
Alix has scored a single date and they go wakeboarding. It’s an excuse for swimsuits and friendly wagers. It’s cute but I’m not loving them as a couple. I see them as buddy-buddy not kissy-kissy, but then I was wrong about Tara.
Alix does a decent job wakeboarding and wins a massage. They head to a p...

Online Serial – Part Five
Part Five
Aggie
Pounds were depressing forms of torture. I hated wandering their lengths seeing the desperate faces of abandoned animals staring up at me through the bars, knowing I’d never be able to save them all. I reached out, blindly clutching at Ice’s hand. He let me, squeezing it warmly when I needed the reassurance.
I hated animal shelters.
We’d been here long enough for a girl to take our names, details and then hand us a clipboard and pen. She looked harried, explaining that today w...

What I’m working on – 12 August 2017
It’s been a bit of a weird, hectic week over at Cong HQ. Hospital visits, sickness and freezing cold weather. I’m ready for a change in the temperature!
Let’s get into what I’ve been writing this week.
Bachie updates
As you can see from the blog posts I’ve been busy doing recaps each week and it’s been good to get it down. It gets my comedic and creative juices flowing. It’s also getting me into a cycle – essentially forcing me to actually delive...
