The Longest Ride, by Nicholas Sparks   Blurb:   Two couples. Two love stories. One epic tale.   Ninety-one-year-old Ira Levinson is in trouble. Struggling to stay concious after a car crash, an image of his adored - and long-dead - wife Ruth appears. PBJ Cupcakes! Yummy!

This weekend I decided to make Peanut Butter and Jam cupcakes and they were so good I thought I'd give you all the recipe in case you're interested! It's really easy!     Firstly just make some ordinary cupcake batter. Then spoon a little of the mixture into the cupcake cases. Put a small blob of jam in the middle, then put a second layer of the mixture. Cook for however long your cupcake recipe says. Whilst the cakes are cooking make your peanut butter icing. Simply mix butter, icing sugar and

We Were Liars

We Were Liars, by E. Lockhart      Blurb:   We are the Liars. We are beautiful, privileged and live a life of carefree luxury. We are cracked and broken.   A story of love and romance. A tale of tragedy. Which are lies? Which is truth? You decide.     This book is amazing! I read it in one sitting the first time and have read it numerous times since. Having just read it again for the forth... or maybe fifth time, I thought I'd do a review to tell everyone how great it is.   Those of you who

South of England Show

I went to the South of England show today - unfortunately I couldn't go the other two days because of work, but wish I had been able too; there's really not enough time to see everything in one day, unless you run around like a headless chicken! Nevertheless, it was a fun day out and thankfully the weather was nice.   There's something at the show for everyone, whether you enjoy looking at the animals, like me, watching shows in the areana, doing a bit of shopping, eating or going on the

The Hundred-Foot Journey

I saw this film last night and thought I'd just do a quick post!   Set in France, it's about an Indian family, who open a restraunt there, just across the road from a Michalin star French restraunt and the battle that ensues. It was funny and sweet, with the focus mainly on family and ambition, with a little bit of romance added in there! It's a book I'll now be putting on my to-read list and it made me want to sample sea urchins!   Definately one to check out if you like light-hearted,

Slave to Sensation (Psy/Changeling Series Book 1), by Nalini Singh   Blurb:   In a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed.
