Reclaiming Your Self-Value (in two minutes!)

By the time we’ve reached adulthood, most of us have been physically or emotionally bullied and put down by others. It’s a sad fact of life. As tender souls, we may wonder why someone would act this way when we’ve done nothing to hurt them.
People who feel inferior about themselves will devalue others, to their faces and behind their backs. Often it's subtle, such as never arriving on time to an appointment or constantly interrupting your conversation. Their behavior is indirectly saying, "Your time doesn't deserve my respect" or "Your ideas aren't worthwhile enough for me to listen to them."
Bullies hurting on the inside may go out of their way to intentionally hurt you, to make you feel worse than they do and bring you DOWN to their level of shame and pain.
Why should you be mindful of others' attacks on you? After several instances of bullying, your self-esteem and self-worth are chipped away. Your Inner Child and/or sub-conscious mind may wonder, "Am I really a bad individual, a worthless and terrible person like ‘they’ say? Do I somehow deserve this?"
You may begin giving away your power by NOT standing up for yourself (to avoid confrontations), shutting down emotionally, or mentally beating yourself up.
You might engage in self-sabotage, as if to PROVE to the hurtful people that THEY ARE RIGHT: you are no good. Why would you do this? Subconsciously you may believe that if you keep showing the hurtful ones that they are RIGHT about your worthlessness and your inferiority, YOU WILL EARN THEIR LOVE.
With some folks, you can never earn the love you desire, no matter what you do. They are too emotionally damaged to deeply love anyone. They keep on dishing out the hurt.
If you settle for their abusive behavior, you may notice PHYSICAL reactions to this added stress. Over time, your body’s continued stress response reactions can cause digestive tract upsets (lack of control), headaches (overthinking, wondering why) or body pain that symbolizes your emotional pain.

Opening to Divinity's Goodness, Grace, Glory & Abundance

Last week I was feeling sentimental, missing my dad who transitioned in 2000. I listened to songs by one of his favorite crooners, Dean Martin.
When "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" (released in 1964, #1 on the easy listening charts) played, I wondered how many people took the lyrics seriously. How many people felt they were nothing and nobody because they didn't have a sweetheart?
For decades, I felt empty inside and incomplete when I didn't have a boyfriend. I feared that others would think I was WEIRD if I preferred to be alone and take a break from dating.
I had linked my VALUE as a woman to having a relationship. I'd also subconsciously linked my value to my income, my home, my car, and my physical appearance. (All of this verified by dowsing.) Yikes!
You probably consciously believe you are NOT defined by your Earthly things or relationships.
But your subconscious mind, influenced by the outside world and fears of judgment by others, may believe otherwise. Mine sure did!
You may be thinking, so what's the big deal if my subconscious mind equates my value with my car, job, income, health, home, or relationships?
When those things are linked to your value, then are suddenly diminished or gone, your self-perceived VALUE is less or completely gone. You feel worthless and worth LESS. You have devalued yourself.
Your energy vibrates at the level of your emotions, conscious and subconscious thoughts. It attracts more people and situations based on the level of the vibes. If you feel worthless, you'll attract more PROOF that's exactly what you are. Your physical and mental energy may feel low. You may feel a deep sadness, not knowing why.
You KNOW you are Divinity.
But if any or all of life is unsatisfactory for you, you may have linked your value to a part of your life that's not working. Time to disengage!

HIP PAIN: Emotional Roots
Pain, tension or stiffness in your hips can be due to misalignment, inflammation, dislocation, or other dysfunction. If your doctor(s) have done everything possible and your hips still hurt, your pain may be rooted in unresolved emotional trauma.
The notion of emotions triggering physical conditions may sound crazy if you're unfamiliar with the concept. It sounded weird to me, too, twenty years ago. When I combined the wisdom of mind-body authors with meridian clearing, and returned to complete well being, the concept was proven to me as true.
Fans of the mind-body-emotions connection know that physical conditions are often a plea for help from our bodies. Energy flows where emotion goes. When we repress rather than express emotions, we can unknowingly create energy blocks to well being.
Hip conditions are your body's way of expressing emotional pain about moving forward on your life path. Inflammation indicates red hot emotions such as anger, fury, rage and hatred. Stiffness symbolizes your resistance to an undesired situation. Hip pain indicates your fear of walking a painful life path.
Releasing the fears and associated emotions may be your final step to complete recovery from your hip conditions. Sometimes those repressed fears are decades old. You may need a mind-body professional to tell you exactly when and how to release them.

Tapping Away Emotions Causing ACID REFLUX
Many of us have felt a funky energy shift along with the seasons changing to Fall in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
This new energy is bringing up many old emotions to be released, like the trees dropping their dead leaves in Autumn.
Those who ignore the nagging emotions that arise may find their bodies responding with new or intensified physical aches and pains. Yes, it happened to me--a well being expert!
EMOTIONAL ROOTS OF MY ACID REFLUX
I'd been repressing emotions about certain business partners wasting my precious time with unfulfilled promises. We could not progress with our projects, and I feared we'd miss our deadlines.
I kept swallowing my rage and harsh words as I thought about how I'd tell these people off. Those acidic thoughts and bitter emotions triggered the extremely unpleasant acid reflux.
Despite feeling like a hot emotional mess, I understood my body's desperate pleas for help via the acidic regurgitations.
TAKING TIME TO HEAL THE HEALER
I took about 30 minutes to clear my non-beneficial emotions. The acid reflux vanished, along with my acidic unspoken words and emotions, in two days.
Am so grateful for the work of Louise Hay, Donna Eden, Deb Shapiro and other Mind-Body-Emotions teachers. Their wisdom, combined with meridian clearing, brought me back to a state of well being.

EMOTIONAL RESCUE from CHRONIC PAIN FEARS

When you're in chronic pain or have a lingering illness, it's tough to focus on anything else.
I suffered through (and eventually cleared) my traumatic emotions causing years of arthritic agony. I know how excruciating chronic pain is, especially in the feet, legs, hips, back, elbows and fingers.
Every step and action seemed 100 times MORE difficult, especially at work. The medication the doctor prescribed made me nauseous, so he prescribed meds for the nausea. Those had terrible side effects, too, including digestive tract upsets and acid reflux. I just got sicker.
I could barely focus on my job tasks most days, due to the agonizing pain.
The best thing that came out of those horrid experiences was that I discovered meridian clearing for rapid well being, and have been pain free--naturally--since 2003!
I simply applied my mind-body knowledge to determine what my body's conditions symbolized. Then I released all the fears I identified. Within hours, the physical pain began to fade. Eventually it vanished completely.
A member of my well being community, John, asked how he could refocus from chronic pain to return to his path of personal growth. I used his question for this video demo to help folks worldwide.

Emotions of Heart Conditions
How do some people eat huge meals, abstain from exercise, drink, smoke and remain overweight but still live a long life?
Why do others partake in the same indulgences and become ill or die young?
Our genetics can make us more susceptible to certain conditions or diseases. Trapped painful emotions from any part of our life can trigger the susceptibility and/or weaken the body's natural defenses to disease or ability to heal itself.
EMOTIONS OF HEART CONDITIONS
The World Health Organization site states that cardiovascular disease (disease of the heart or blood vessels) is the #1 killer of people around the world.
Emotions that cause the lack of ease or "dis-ease" of the heart include grief, loss of a loved one, trauma, fear, feeling broken-hearted or heartache, inability to forgive or love yourself or others.
Sound like anyone you know?
When my beloved dad died years ago, I experienced terrible pain in my heart area. Doctors ran tests, but all the results came back as normal.
My search for a holistic remedy led me to trying acupressure for my emotions, also known as "tapping". I combined the acupressure with the mind-body wisdom of Louise Hay's books. It took several months, but I released wave after tearful wave of the emotions involved with Dad's death.
My heart pain never returned, and I went on to help others with my mind-body knowledge and tapping.

Emotional Causes of Vertigo and Dizziness
Your body's vestibular system includes parts of your inner ear that sense the position of your head, balance and eye movements.
The vestibular system's effectiveness can be affected by aging, illness or injury. This can lead to dizzy spells or vertigo.
One overlooked condition that also affects the vestibular system and our balance is emotional distress.
As mentioned in earlier blogs (and all of my publications), your body strives to maintain 100% health and well being. Strong, negative emotions can negatively affect your body, down to the cellular level. This is especially true about events you cannot forget, keep replaying in your mind.
Feeling dizzy or experiencing vertigo can be your body's way of warning you that you're terrified that your life is spinning out of control, you've lost control and you fear things you're hearing.

Is Your Hearing Loss Emotional?
According to a March 2015 World Health Organization report, about 5% of the world population has disabling hearing loss. Over one-third of seniors over age 65 have severe hearing loss. The online report went on to list many acquired causes of hearing loss later in life, including ear infections, ear wax, head or ear injuries, and excessive noise.

Author and mind-body pioneer, Louise L. Hay, publicized her research and defined mind-body conditions in her books, most notably “You Can Heal Your Life”. Bless you, Ms. Hay, for that book opened doors of healing for me like no other publication!
Earlier in this blog I explained that conditions on the left side of the body symbolize fear-based emotions about love, loved ones and relationships, including with ourselves, and doing what we love for a living. Right side body conditions indicate fear-based emotions about logical subjects such as money, income, work, jobs and school.
When the fears are released, the body can resume healing and return to well being. I’ve seen this many times in myself, my clients and their animal friends.
For example, my left ear’s hearing loss became increasingly noticeable after I’d experienced terrible arguments with men I’d dated and loved. I didn’t want to hear their harsh words!
One day I spent two hours identifying my fear blocks to good hearing, then releasing them. Shockingly, some of the blocks went back to childhood, when my parents expressed their disappointment in my rebellious behavior. My left ear hears as well as my right ear now.
My left eardrum always throbs when I’m angry or don’t want to hear something about someone or something I love. After I dowse for the fears causing the ear problems, then release the (often subconscious) fearful root causes of the hearing issues, the throbbing stops and I can again hear well.
One of my entrepreneurial clients had terrible ear ringing when her assistant’s mistakes caused problems in her office. After we applied meridian clearing to release her feelings of anxiety, worry, anger, resentment and fears that the difficulties with her assistant would never end, my client’s tinnitus went away.
Those with hearing loss or severe ear conditions may want to consider the mind-body approach combined with fear clearing via meridian modalities.
