13 years at Nitida Ridge in Second Life

Bree Birke and I have been setting up the performance at Nitida Ridge in Second Life for 13 years now. Nearly every Saturday morning at 10am CST, I’ve been performing piano live to Internet radio and the Second Life Community!

Beethoven’s Pathetique – The Second Movement from Above

I’ve been enjoying putting together these bird’s eye view tracks. It just seems so much more entertaining to watch than seeing a piano player from the side. The hands are, after all, what are doing the work.

How to Strengthen Projects by Ending with Next Actions

At the Piano

When learning to perform a piece of music, it is useful to work a little a time. Each measure or even note could be a useful unit to practice.

However far I would make it into practice, my piano teacher of years back would suggest, “end on one”. By this, she would mean that when I was to end a practice session:

Try to find a natural break in the piece. Try to end at the first note of the next measure. Translating the Idea to Work in General
