Friday, August 21

I took a short trip to Manzanita yesterday with a couple of girlfriends. This little town holds so much magic for me. It would be a dream to be able to own a little cabin here someday. Let's grow and reach and touch the sky
Together always

My everyday smoothie. I don't miss the caffeine that much but after having these daily green smoothies for the last couple of years, I'm addicted. // spinach, plain Greek yogurt, frozen fruit, water //

We each hold a "treasure" from the spirit room altar and then say our prayers. We then beat the drum to close out the day in celebration. Today he informed me that "being awesome" is when "your light grows so big that you feel like yourself. I am definitely awesome and so is everyone else except the bad guys. Well actually they're awesome but they make bad choices."Saturday, August 22

Loving this day. Breakfast, farmers market, fresh flowers, gardening, snuggles, and working on a little sitting nook in the backyard (complete with solar powered twinkle lights <-- best invention ever).

When we moved in a little over a year ago, we built True a little covered sandbox. It was awesome until he was over it and never used it. Now we are repurposing that little structure into a little sitting nook, or as True calls it, "an outdoor stage." We made some progress today on it, but still lots to do: plants, cute outdoor decor, a rug, etc. But I'm loving where this is going. Solar powered twinkle lights are in there now and I'm anxious to see how they'll look when night falls.

Solar twinkle lights for the definite win. Found via Amazon ;)))

Okay, friends. Six weeks until my angel painting class starts. Registration is open and the intro price of $99 is still good for a couple more weeks. LOVING the response to this class. It's gonna be a beautiful constellation of people. All levels welcome.

I'm working a little later than usual (hello Monday!) but I'm digging how bright it still is at 7:30pm. Loving these long summer days. Also, had a great convo with a licensing partner for my new brand, True. We're totally gonna create a baby line of goodies. It's going to happen, friends!

Dear You,
Remember, nothing is wasted and everything shapes us.
Love,
Wisdom

I've been in major summer mode lately. Lounging, weeding, watching WAY to much Nashville (started binge watching from the beginning - new show for me. Love!), napping, playing, and procrastinating. I don't want summer to stop. It's been the first summer in years that has felt sloow and not ridden with too much activity. Best summer ever.

Spent the day with two peeps – Betsy from February 13 Creative, and my community care and engagement manager Nichole – who have changed not just my biz life in the last couple of years, but my life life. We look oddly posed and "cool" in this photo but mostly we were giggly, chatty, and in celebration mode for all that we've created together as a team. Big huge gratitude in my heart for these two soul sisters.

We're in gorgeous Manzanita for one last summer adventure before preschool starts next week. It's our home away from home and we sure do love it here. Working on manifesting a beach home here for the future!

That's it for this week! Check back here next week for another update, or join us over on Instagram for daily photos and thoughts!

XO,
Kelly Rae

Home Tour: Master Bedroom!

Hi friends!
I thought I'd share another room tour today. As I've said in the others, we're slowly making this place our home, and we're loving it. This summer is so different from last. Last summer we were just moving in, and this summer we're settled. What a difference it is to not be in transition, no?
Today I'm sharing our master bedroom. Enjoy the tour!
xxoxo,Kelly Rae

This room has large ceiling that form a peak - love that! The big metal star has never been happier than in this space. Our bedspread is a patchwork of vintage sari's. We found it in a shop in HI years ago and we fell in love instantly.
The "hello love" banner was part of my home decor collection a few years ago and I love having it as our makeshift headboard.

Our tutu wearing manniquin is a master bedroom staple. We loved it in the old house, too. The print on the wall is one of the first pieces of art John and I ever bought as a couple before we were engaged. That was about 17 years ago!

The letters light up. Love, love, love.
And the curtains were made by my mom. So grateful! I love how they coordinate with the gray rug.
The dresser was John's when I met him all of those years ago. Loved his style then, and now.

Sweet little side table John and I found years and years ago at a little thrift/flea/junk store. We hauled it all the way from Florida to Portland. Love pieces that have good memories associated with them!

This little bonus nook is adorbs. True climbs into this space each morning after waking us up at 6:30.

My dear friend Mati painted the birdie painting when we taught at an art retreat in Italy in 2008. I will cherish it always.

A little peek of my dressing/jewelry nook.

Having moved to this space from a sweet, but little bungalow, I almost didn't know what to do with all this space. I mean, an entire nook for built-in drawers and vanity space? LOVE!

The view from the drawer nook :)
I am grateful every stinkin' time I see this view.

I've been layering vintage style mirrors over the big wall mirrors in the bathrooms and I'm digging the look. Makes it feel more cozy, less modern, and more fun.
The sign is from Barn Owl Primitives.

Best part of our bedroom? The soaker tub. This baby gets used. A lot. Love, love, and more. My friend Stephanie made the gorgeous painting as a gift for us after True was born. Here's a post that share the whole thing. So gorgeous!
Annnnnd that's a wrap! Another room tour coming soon!
XO!

Loving this capture of my parents. Aren't they cute? Endlessly grateful for these two. ♥️❤️

These two are exactly four weeks apart in age. They've been great friends since they were babies. I love that they hug each other fiercely, play well, work it out when they are upset, and hold hands while running. Witnessing childhood makes me beam. Also, True told me today that he does NOT think our house is beautiful because he "prefers rainbow colors, but your earrings sure are beautiful, mama!"
Sunday, August 16

We call this room our family fort. It's where we watch movies, rough house, play games, build forts. Anyway, the other day John and I fell in love with this rug from Pottery Barn and we decided to just start layering rugs. Why not? I'm super inspired by The Jungalow right now. Plants. Rugs. I'm so not a minimalist when it comes to decor. I'm a collector and maximalist and loving how our home is coming together, layer by layer. I have a home tour coming up for you guys soon!

It's a dressed up in jpy day over here. Also, so happy to have little piggies while I await a hair cut. It's the little things, no? This week is a biggie: filming a new video for my upcoming new website, making new art, working on the backyard, and more.

I promise to create, play, dance, and sing with you (joyful creative abandon will be valued). I promise to teach you about how to be brave in sadness and brave in love.
There will be pain, fear, joy and love.
I will be with you, side by side, to guide you through all of it.
I promise to practice gratitude with you so we can feel joy and abundance in all things.
I promise to provide a safe, nurturing home where you have full permission to be who you are.

Introducing True® by Kelly Rae Roberts!

It is with so much excitement that I'd like to announce a new brand/collection that I've been working on for what seems like forever. Soon after True was born (almost five years ago!), I was inspired to create a new collection of work that captures all the sweetness and tenderness of being in a family.
All these moons later, it's finally here......
True® by Kelly Rae Roberts communicates the essence of togetherness– the small moments, the big loves, the nuanced beauty of everyday living with those we love. True love, true connection, true living– this is the heart of the messages, the imagery, and the intention behind this brand.
I want these pieces to find their way into living spaces where stories and connection are shared, where imperfect living is celebrated, and where honest, real, true love is nurtured. I believe in surrounding ourselves, always, in beauty and truth. And I hope these pieces inspire you to do the same.

I wanted to share some peeks from the lookbook. Please enjoy..............

ALWAYS & FOREVER TRUE

For those of you interested, these prints are available in my print shop.

Ultimately, my hope is that this growing collection find its way into homes where love and togetherness are celebrated– in family rooms, kid rooms, living rooms– anywhere families come together. I envision everything from large statement wall art pieces, to small gift sized products, to stationery and photo albums, to soft goods, to home decor. The options are endless and I seek to partner with a company that shares my values– one that celebrates creativity, love, connection, and ultimately, all things True.

Big love,
Kelly Rae

My evening ritual/practice

In the last couple of years, I've been trying to integrate some everyday soul work practices into my life. These practices include simple but deeply soul filling things like The Wear Your Joy Project, giving myself eons of permission to create alone time, going to bed early, getting regular massages, working with healers, morning green smoothies, commuting with my bike - things like that. It took me a long time to realize that these simple daily rituals were indeed part of my practice of staying true to who I am, and awakening who I want to become.

One of my favorite practices I've been doing for a couple of years involves a nightly ritual. It's been transformative for me, and I'm feeling called to share it with you.

Here's what I do. When I fall in bed, I close my eyes. After doing a quick meditation, I count on one hand all the things I'm grateful for from that day. Usually it's things like "watching True light up during his dancing" , "receiving a kind note from so and so" , "witnessing the sunset" , and so on. I love this gratitude practice. Although I'm not journaling the gratitude, I'm conscious of taking in each gratitude, one by one, breath by breath, until I've counted out five. Sometimes I get to five easily and sometimes, on those harder days, it take me awhile. Either way, I am conscious of receiving it all in my body, in my bones.

Then, with the other hand, I count out five things I've done well that day. This is harder than it sounds. I started this particular practice because I was noticing how hard I can be on myself despite feeing a sense of accomplishment, peace, and joy. I wanted to fall asleep not just grateful, but knowing I tried to be my best self - everyday. I don't allow myself to list accomplishments, but rather things that took some intention and consciousness. Things like "asking for what I needed despite the urge to soldier through" , "saying I'm sorry to John, showing up for that moment" , "choosing to not fight a certain battle with my 4 yr old and instead connecting with him" , "being fully present with my family and not multitasking."

I can't tell you how HARD this practice started out for me, how difficult it was to come up with five things each evening. But as I made my way through it, it's helped me honor just how much intention I try and live each day. That's something to acknowledge, celebrate, and hold up to all the gremlins that come through each day. I encourage you to try it! And let me know how it goes.

XO,
Kelly Rae

Ps: Registration is in full swing for my new, upcoming e-course, and I'm thrilled with the enthusiastic response! I can't thank you enough! Early bird, introductory price of $99 is still available. Introducing Spirit Wings, my new painting ecourse!

Friends, it's with so much anticipation and fullness in my heart that I offer up my latest painting e-course. You guys have been asking for this for years and I'm so glad, on the cusp of celebrating 10 years of an accidental artist, to offer this up. It feels big and important in my journey, and I hope it inspires yours!

Permission to fly? Granted.

Before I became an artist, I was a clinical medical social worker — I spent my days counseling and helping others through the fights of their lives. It was powerful, important work — but my heart began to grow restless. Until . . . I started playing with paint, at age 30. And everything shifted and changed and opened up. A new way of experiencing, translating, sharing & being in the world was born.

Quite simply, through painting winged girls and angels, I grew my own wings and took flight. That was 10 years ago, and I'm still growing my wings, daily.

With Spirit Wings, I'll help you do the same. No painting experience necessary. Just a willingness to open your heart to what becomes possible when you begin to nurture your spirit both in flesh and in paint.

KRR_SpiritCourse_SalesPageGirls4

Heart-to-Heart

I know that you’ve got dreams and struggles and celebrations and grief and layers and layers of tenderness and hope. So do I. And I know that sometimes, it can feel like all the obstacles in the world are colliding together to derail your beautiful life.

With Spirit Wings, we're going to do something magical. We'll create angel paintings specific to your journey. Paintings that will be sacred to your story. Paintings that will hold space. Paintings that will inspire and manifest what's to come. Paintings that will help you invite what you want more of, less of. Paintings that will honor your celebrations, your grief, your courage, and your abundance.

Not only will there be loads and loads of techniques (face painting, backgrounds, and more!), there will be loads of intention. The angel paintings you create will be your own personal winged guides to inspire you along your path. It will be beautiful.

KRR_SpiritCourse_SalesPageGirls2

Here's how it works: 6 months of goodness

Pacing + Structure:
This course begins Monday, October 5th. Each week, for six months, a new lesson is uploaded (hello, easy pace!). By the end of the course, you will have 6 gorgeous completed paintings, plus all sorts of inspiration and soul work. And did I mention the community of kindreds? Keep reading...

months
Monthly themes:
Each month, for six months (!), we'll explore the following themes with audio excerpts, videos, soul work assignments, and of course high-def painting instruction videos where we'll create an angel painting for each month/theme.

October: Heart Whispers
November: Courage
December: Belonging
January: Sacred Ordinaryness
February: Inner Truth
March: Trust

Week 1:
During the first week of each month, we'll talk about that month's theme (see above for themes) and nourish the landscapes of our hearts. I'll share selected audio excerpts from my best selling book, Taking Flight. Then, via video, I'll also share my reflections, 10 years later, on all that I've learned since I wrote the excerpts. Next up, I'll give you a couple of soul work assignments to help you tune into your own thoughts, whispers, dreams, and more. Most importantly, I'll also help you silence the noise, hear your own heart, and create words for your angel painting that we'll create in weeks two and three.

Weeks 2+ 3:
During the second and third week of each month, we'll create an angel painting that's relevant to that month's theme (Angel of Heart Whispers, Angel of Courage, Angel of Belonging, and so on). We'll start with creating a gorgeous, layered background, and then move on to a rough sketch of our angel. Next we'll create her face (each month we'll use different medium/techniques for face painting). We'll finish up our paintings during week three of each month by adding wings and other details. Most importantly, we'll add her words - the words you created in week 1 that are specific to your journey, what you desire, what you want guidance with, what you want to manifest in your life. By the end of week 3 of each month, you'll have a beautifully painted angel guide who will help lead you along your path.

Week 4:
During the fourth week of each month, we'll close out the month's theme with a declaration, a dedication, and closing.

KRR_SpiritCourse_SalesPageGirls1

More details:
Top Notch design + functionality: The e-course classroom is a beautifully designed and extremely easy to navigate website all on its own. Once you pay for the course, you’ll have your own specific login and password (that you create), and can login anytime, from anywhere. You'll have one entire year to access the classroom (6 months of "live" instruction, followed by another 6 months to come back and watch the videos as many times as you'd like).

Professional high-def videos: The painting instruction videos are exquisitely-produced, providing close views of the demo paintings so that you can truly see the details of every technique I share. All in all, there are over 18 (EIGHTEEN!) hours of videos, capturing 6 angel paintings from start to finish. Whoa.

Art Supplies: For each painting, I share every art supply I use, where I get them, and how to use them. For those of you who are like I was not that long ago and feeling confused in the aisles of art stores, this is an extremely valuable part of the course. I love sharing my resources! Also, each month, well before we begin painting, I'll share which essential supplies you need for each month. This way, you can gradually build up your art supplies as we pace ourselves through the six months together.

Techniques: Over the course of this class, we'll dive into eons of techniques, both for backgrounds and faces. Each month, we'll create our angel faces with new mediums (acrylics, oil pastels, oil sticks, gelatos, pens, and more). We'll also create a variety of background each month using collage papers, stamps, acrylics, and more.

kindreds

Calling all kindreds
I’m an artist, but I’m also (as one friend cleverly put it) a Connectress. When I bring people together (online or otherwise), big things happen. I can’t explain it – it’s just the power of creative synchronicity. And community.

This e-course will be filled with a beautiful constellation of people. Seekers. Dreamers. Experts. Newbies. Creative souls with big hearts. In addition to interacting in the classroom, we'll have an ultra supportive private Facebook group where a community of your fellow creatives will offer ongoing support, resources, and inspiration. I've taught several online classes, and the community that forms is nothing short of life changing. Come join our tribe!

KRR_SpiritCourse_SalesPageGirls3

Say yes!
Let art out, let love in: Please join me for what will be an extraordinary experience. We'll not only let art out and let love in, but we'll honor our imperfections and make them beautiful on the canvas. We'll find our edges, and widen our horizons. We'll inspire one another. And we'll create gorgeous painting to help manifest and call in all that is waiting for us. I. Cannot. Wait.

Price: The introductory price of $99 will expire on Sept 1st. After that, price goes up, so register early!

Classroom Access: Once you register and pay for the course, an email will immediately and automatically be sent with your login details and you'll be able to access the virtual classroom. The first lesson will go "live" on Monday, October 5th when the ecourse officially begins. Once class starts, you'll be able to access the classroom for an entire year. By paying for the e-course now, you are guaranteeing your spot in a highly anticipated class.

Sales Final: Because of the nature e-courses (once you pay for it, you have access to the classroom), all sales are final.

KRR_SpiritCourse_RegisterNow_$99 (The introductory price of $99 will expire on Sept 1st. After that, price goes up, so register early!)
All levels of experience welcome: No painting experience necessary. I'll be with you, side by side, via high-def video tutorial instruction. I had zero painting experience when I started painting angels, but I learned through practice and time. This course will provide invaluable instruction if you're new as you continue to find your way. With that said, and if you're able, I highly suggest taking my other painting e-course, Hello Soul Hello Mantra, as it will give you a wonderful base for creating backgrounds, using all sorts of mixed media techniques, and more.

Facial features: I will not be covering the technical aspects of drawing facial features. If you are looking for detailed instructions on on how to draw realistic faces, with correct proportions in regards to eyes/nose/lips, this class is not for you. As you will see in the class demo videos, my approach is quite untechnical. My faces are whimsical, unrealistic, but always thoughtful and contemplative in their "look". I will walk you through, step by step, my process of creating faces, but please note there will not be any facial drawing assignments in this class.

Image-1
Thank you, friends. So many of you have been asking me for this type of painting ecourse for years. I'm so glad, on the cusp of celebrating 10 years of an accidental artist, to offer this up. It feels big and important in my journey, and I hope it inspires yours!

XO, Kelly Rae

Ps: Got questions? See FAQ below!

I've been incredibly fortunate to have the best community of students ever. Below is a sampling of testimonials from those who have taken my other painting class, Hello Soul Hello Mantras. I’m so grateful for their taking the time to send over a little kindness. You can see more testimonials here.

“I love this process. I never knew that working with paints could be so much fun. Looking forward to making many more.”

“This is going to be a life changing ride… I can already feel it. Thank you.”

“I have a feeling this is the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and it feels like it’s going to be a good one.”

“After these past lessons I am BURSTING with new words to inspire!!!!!”

“This class is such a “find” and that is the word I am using in my mantras. I like that it means looking and searching which involves some effort but that it also denotes coming upon something unexpectedly.”

“Having fun unlearning everything I thought I knew.”

“Your prompts have made this heart and soul searching so much more real for me, more heartfelt for sure….thank you so very much. If you were right in front of me, I’d give you a big HUG.”

“I feel like the energy around me is sparkling in 3D!”

“Kelly Rae, you need to add therapist at the end of your titles. This is bliss.”

“I am in witness of some serious tearful joy over here! I can play!! I love this! I mean, I really love this!”

I’ve never taken an on-line class before. Are the classes LIVE? Do I have to be at my computer at a certain time during the day?
You don’t have to be anywhere at any given time to make it to the class. There are no specific times that you need to log in (meaning, nothing will be LIVE at 8pm, 8am, etc.). You can log in whenever you want and have access to the lessons that have been uploaded, beginning on Monday, October 5th. You can log in everyday or every other day or once a week. Either way, the content (and the community) will be ready to greet you!

Once I register for the class, how long will I have access to the lessons?
We recognize that life gets busy! Your login and password will work for a full year. You can come back to the classroom anytime and view the lessons however many times you’d like for an entire year.

Do you offer an installment plan?
We are not currently offering an installment plan for Spirit Wings.

I’d love to gift this class to a loved one. How can I register them for the course?
Shoot us an email at hello@kellyraeroberts.com and we’ll make it easy for you.

Will I need high speed internet to access the videos?
Yes, absolutely. All videos are high-def and will require a high speed internet connection. Please note, we will not offer refunds if you are not able to see the videos due to a slow internet connection, so please consider this before purchasing the course.

What kinds of supplies will I need?
This is a mixed-media class, so you’ll definitely need a variety of supplies.  The essentials that are absolutely needed include the following: a few colors of fluid acrylic paints (I like the GOLDEN brand, but any thin acrylic paints will do), a variety of collage papers (mainly scraps of papers you likely have hanging around your house), gel medium, a spray bottle, canvas boards, some mark-making tools that are likely hanging around your house (bubble wrap, jar lids, pens, paper towels), oil pastels, and alphabet stamps.

She was learning to silence the noise, and reawaken to her own bright bloom.
Still learning to silence and reawaken, every day.

Just had the most fun two hours with the talented and lovely hearted Tara Whitney. She was here to photograph our family and she was such a big hit.

Oh my. My new helmet arrived!! Totally in love. I've been commuting to my studio with my bike and this helmet makes me an official PDX nerd on the road. For those of you interested, it came from Inkwell Helmets

Her favorite moments were those when she let go of all expectations and worries and just simply celebrated the very moment she was living. YES to being present. I live for these moments.

Morning! Wearing my joy today!

I don't miss my roots of growing up in the South that much (PNW has always felt more like home), but I do miss being able to find REALLY good, authentic, made fresh Southern dishes. Yesterday John and I discovered Miss Delta restaurant on Mississippi Ave, near our hood. The cheesy grits were perfection (oh how I miss southern grits!) as was the bacon, biscuits, gravy, fried cheese, and more. And the place itself was super cool.  Friends, I have been working on a new offering and I can barely contain myself with excitement. Registration for this new painting class opens soon (in about 10 days) and its gonna be soooo good. I hope you'll join me. We're gonna paint Angels to help manifest our deepest dreams and wishes. It's going to be beautiful.

July 27, 2015

One week in: I quit sugar + caffeine. OMG!

(my new morning tea: hot water, squeezed lemon, ginger, and wee bit of local honey)
It's been a week since quitting caffeine and sugar. I have to tell you the whole story as this was not something I planned for, nor expected, but one week in and I can tell it's a very very GOOD thing.
It went down like this:
A friend of mine took me to see a friend of hers who did a super involved, gorgeous crystal reading for me. It was my first crystal reading, and I loved it (my spiritual journey continues!). As part of the reading, I was asked to choose a card and whatever card I chose would be the "ally" that would help usher me to a the place that the rest of the reading was suggesting I pay attention to: a consistent place of inner quiet and depth where things can begin to form, create, and generate - a place where seeds of creation are born before they're ever manifested.
I pulled this card:

And you want to know the crazy thing? Earlier that day, before my reading, I posted this image to my Facebook and Instagram page:
(available here)
I love how the universe works, how it shows up to affirm for us that whatever medicine/enlightenment/healing we're receiving is indeed right on target.
Anyway, the "Release" card is all about needing to release whatever is getting in the way so that you can allow more of Spirit into your mind and body.
Although this message deeply resonated with me, I wasn't super clear on what needed to be released. I just knew I needed to let it marinate and sit with me for a bit.
After the reading, I got in my car and headed home. The second I got in my car I began to feel VERY sick. The entire short drive home I thought I wouldn't make it. Intense nausea. Incredible urge to vomit. It came out of nowhere.
I made it home, ran into the house, bee-lined it to the bathroom and my "release" officially began. (sorry, TMI?)

I called in sick the next day, and while I was lying in bed I thought about all the things "release" was asking of me. Obviously my body had an almost immediate response to pulling that card. In terms of my body, what else was asking to be released? I immediately thought, "It's time to quit sugar and caffeine."

And that's how it happened. I have not had either caffeine or sugar since.

The theme of release has been with me even since that day, a wonderful guide.  I can't tell you how that crystal session has motivated me, shifted me to make this move with virtually no cravings at all.
I will say, however, that although I've had very little cravings, I've had intense headaches with one full blown migraine and lots of mood swings during that first week. At one point I wrote "fierce" on my wrist as a reminder to help push through the detox symptoms. Not easy, but doable.
Today is day 8 off sugar/caffeine and I'm feeling much, much better. The headaches are gone. I'm not having cravings. I am sleeping better, my skin is brighter, and I just feel healthier. I suspect my energy will improve the longer I go.

I'm still not sure what all of this is about or leading to, but I do trust that it's likely just the beginning of releasing what's in the way for what is waiting to become. I'm excited to see what is birthed as the releasing continues!

I have received lots of questions about whether or not I'm giving up ALL sugars (honey, etc) so I thought I'd give you the scoop:
- I've replaced my usual caffeinated morning/afternoon black tea (with lots of sugar and milk) with my new tea: hot water, squeezed lemon, a thumb of ginger, and wee bit of local honey. This morning I had it without honey and it was just as tasty, so I'll likely drop the honey.
- For now I'm allowing myself fruits. I'm not a huge fruit person, so this hasn't been a big deal for me. I have noticed that I'm more inclined to choose apples and almond butter as a snack, however, vs a KIND bar that has sugar in it. I've also noticed that I'm going for the strawberries with plain greek yogurt (and a tad of honey) instead of a muffin. I'm taking this all as progress.
- I am NOT using any sweeteners like stevia, sweet n low, agave, etc.
- For the most part, I am not eating any foods in my pantry (bread, pasta, sauces, etc) that list sugar as an ingredient. This hasn't been too hard. However, I did order a burrito from my local Mexican restaurant the other day and I wondered about the sugar as I'm certain there must have been some. I'll get more strict about this later.
- I am still using dates to sweeten my afternoon smoothie (apples, kale, spinach, lemon, ginger, dates)
- I am still using frozen fruit for my morning smoothie (spinach, plain greek yogurt, frozen berries, water).
- I've noticed that I'm drinking a ton more water vs my giant tea drinks that I would nurse all morning and all afternoon.
I'm going to hang out here for a couple of more weeks, and continue to acclimate. Once I'm good, I'm going to try and take it a step further and cut out more sugar.
You guys have been sending me your success stories and resources. I can't tell you how thankful I am! Someone sent me to the I Quit Sugar website which looks interesting. John and I have been diving into the Whole30 book as well. I've also been following my old pal Lacy's Sugar Detox suggestions.

Yay!
