You ask for it, you got it – new OVERSIZED prints, plus other shop updates!!
For a LONG time, I've wanted to update my online print shop with some more options for you guys. I'm thrilled to finally (!!) announce that we've made some exciting changes to our little art print shop.
Get ready for a long post with all the updates, photos, and more!!
Oversized Manifestos!
First up, we are now offering OVERSIZED manifesto prints!! You guys have been asking for these, and I love, love, love how they turned out. They are printed on gorgeous, archival 13x19 paper with a luster finish.
I adore how they look unframed, but they look great framed, too. Psst: 13x19 frames are available at Michael's! Take a look at the styling options below!

Our Be Brave Manifesto. Love it. Also loving the simplicity of hanging it via a clip on the wall inside a larger open frame.

Our Dear Child manifesto. I hung our on True's bedroom door.
Love.

The I Heart Your Heart Manifesto. Again, loving the simplicity of these oversized prints simply clipped to the wall! Perfect for sisters, moms, BFFS, older children, and anyone whose heart you heart. XO.

It's A Joy Full Life Manifesto. This was the first in the manifesto series, and it's still a favorite.
MORE Options for You!
SECOND SHOP UPDATE: For the last many many years we've only offered prints that are matted, signed, and ready-to-frame. I'm happy to announce that we are now offering a print-only option! You can now choose to receive your prints matted to fit an 11x14 frame plus signed by me, or you can choose to receive only the print, no matte, as a less expensive option. Hello, options.

Of course, I LOVE our mattes, but I also love the print-only option for those of you who want to purchase your own mattes (color mattes!).

Every single print come with a certificate of authenticity as well, which I love.
Whoa – Postcards Are Popular!
When we introduced individual postcards for sale in our store a few weeks ago, we had no idea they'd be as popular as they are! They are selling like HOTCAKES! Group them together and frame them, give them away, or keep them for writing a sweet note to someone you adore.

PS – Datebooks and Calendars Almost Sold Out!
You guys, these sell out every year, so be sure to snap them up as soon as you can. They arrive signed by me, and you can find them in the shop here!

THANK YOU!!!! I am SO excited about these print shop updates! Thank you for your continued support, and for sharing your thoughts with us. I am continually grateful for your walking with me along this journey into art, love, and life.
XO, Kelly Rae

Family Photo Shoot!

We recently had a family photo session with the lovely Jen Downer of She Saw Things.  I'm so grateful we had this opportunity, and I think she captured our togetherness beautifully. What a warm, generous heart she has, and I just love how she sees things. When I saw these photos for the first time, I immediately thought of the afterglow effect. As gorgeous as these photos are, I consciously worked (so hard!) to appreciate these pictures with all my heart NOW vs years from now when I look back. I celebrated the imperfections I saw -you know the ones - the ones we inevitably see when we see photos of ourselves. But just the awareness of the afterglow effect dropped me deeper into the now of these photos, to a place where I feel so in love with my life, with my family. I cannot wait to have these printed and framed all over the house. Thank you Jen, for the precious gift of seeing our family and for capturing our joy. I am grateful, grateful, grateful.

Dear you, you can release me, and gently let me go. All my best, Fear
 (New artwork, available here)
(New artwork, available here) Recently, I had the opportunity to hear Arianna Huffington speak at Emerging Women Live in NYC. I have so much to say about the conference and speakers as a whole (all good), but I'm still thinking about Arianna Huffington's talk about her personal story of severe burnout and her long road toward defining a new way of working, living, and thriving. Super inspiring, so real, so thoughtful, and just so full of truth.
She encouraged us to share our burnout stories so that we can own what's not working, and start an important dialogue with one another about what it looks like to thrive.
I've shared a couple of my burnout stories over the years in this space. Once in 2008 (that was a big one) and another one in 2010 when we were renovating our house while 8 months pregnant and working full time. But I haven't shared the full story of the last many weeks/months. I'm feeling called to share it now that I'm beginning to emerge from it, extracting lots of lessons along the way.

A few months ago I could feel myself on the edge of burnout. Moving houses (even if it was a dream come true). Moving studios. Launching e-courses (passion project!). Big transitions in my creative biz (new licensing mgr, new employee). Through it all, I put too much pressure on myself: Pack! Unpack! Decorate! Make art! Blog! Garden! Meet the new neighbors! Launch that new idea/project/practice/product! Enjoy the summer! Be an awesome employer, mother, wife, daughter! Volunteer at True's new school!
I had many long talks with John as I felt myself sinking deeper and deeper into feelings of dread, desperation. Eventually, my inner voice whispered, "Let yourself off the hook. Just let yourself off the hook." I could feel that my burnout wasn't just having too many balls in the air for too long, but that I was becoming fully hooked onto bigger issues: perfection, self expectations, unrealistic timeframes, but most of all fear.
Let yourself off the hook has been my mantra these last couple of months. And it's been working. When I feel the pressure to do/be/produce, I stop and give myself permission to unhook. From unpacking the last of the boxes. From creating if I'm not in the mood. From cooking. From emails. From saying yes. From expectations. But most importantly, unhooking from the shoulds, which are 100% soaked in fear.

The practice of unhooking hasn't been easy, but it's allowed me to consciously hook onto new, healthy, things: Rest! Sleep (10hrs a night!)! Saying no! Reading! Boundaries! Relaxing! TRUSTING (my word of the year)!
I've been deep in this new practice for months now. And as hard as it's been to force myself to unhook, it's been a deeply rewarding experience to rearrange some brain patterns, bad habits, and slowly but surely find a new routine that feels more like thriving.
I have a long way to go, but I've exhaled, unhooked, and detoxed from the I am not enoughness gremlins. I'd like to take this practice further. I wanna cultivate more rest, more play, more trust in the process of letting go. I don't want my worthiness attached to what I do and how much I do it. I don't want it to be attached to anything. We are enough. As is.
So. Here's to new horizons. And releasing, as best as we can with conscious and open hearts, our shoulds, our coulds, and our fears.
Thank you, burnout. There is so much richness, and gold in the dark pockets of your lessons.

BRAND NEW products to help your courage take flight!
"Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest." – Maya Angelou
Friends, I adore this quote by beloved Maya Angelou. Last week I attended the Emerging Women conference in New York City, where the late Angelou was to be the keynote speaker. Her spirit infused the conference and each of us attendees walked away with the sparks in our hearts burning a little brighter.
Courage has been a touchstone throughout my career, one of the consistent mantras I return to again and again. Like Maya Angelou said, it takes courage to practice kindness, to give generously, to be honest (with myself and others).
Friends, we're so excited to unveil a few of our BRAND NEW products to celebrate your courage and bravery! Take a look!
Be Brave Angel:

Love love love this angel's sweet face and even sweeter message: Let it go. Say yes to healing, yes to change. Be brave. Trust the voyage. Believe in possibility. Practice courage (every day.) Embrace your vulnerabilities. Have faith in your dreams. Choose joy. Live your truth...
Add her to your collection, and find more like her, at the online retailer Garden Gallery here!
Be Brave Manifesto Wall Art:

You guys, manifestos are one of my favorite offerings, and the the Be Brave manifesto comes from a place deep in my heart. Now it's available in a 18" x 24" canvas, bright and beautiful, ready to hang (a smaller option is available in our print shop)! This manifesto reads: Be brave. May you surrender fear, embrace uncertainty, and trust your strength. May you be gentle on your soul (and ask for what you need). May you feel the immeasurable power of how deeply you are loved. May you discover all the ways in which you are not broken but deeply, profoundly whole. May you embrace your vulnerability and practice courage (every single day). May you emerge softer, wiser and more beauty-full. May you discover all the ways hope rises up to meet your biggest struggles and cracks open your heart to the light within yourself, waiting to be seen, waiting to be born.
Find this manifesto and others at the online retailer Garden Gallery here!
Be Brave Pouch:

Totally in love with these new pouches, perfect for carting around my necessities (lip balm! glasses! keys!), and great for gifts as well! This pouch reads: Have faith. Believe in healing. Trust the possibilities. Be yourself, always. Such great reminders!!
Find this pouch, plus others from the collection, at the online retailer Garden Gallery here!
Voyage Toward Truth:

Friends, another new piece from the canvas wall art collection (smaller print and postcard available from my shop)!! This canvas reproduction is so, so close to the original, I could barely tell the difference. She reads: She was on a voyage toward truth, love and profound transformation. She found courage amidst the storms and faith in her sails as she left the safety of the harbor for freedom, dreams & possibility.
Find this canvas reproduction, plus other pieces of wall art, at the online retailer Garden Gallery here!
Hello Courage:

An oldie but a goodie – this Hello Courage wall plaque actually hangs in my home studio! I look up at it hanging above my window and take a moment to say hello to my courage, recognize that it has always been there, waiting to take flight. Love love the rustic feel of this sign, and at more than two feet long, it is definitely a statement piece!
Find this wall plaque at the online retailer Garden Gallery here!
Friends, we are all Possibilitarians, testing out our wings and working up to taking flight. Sending you so much love, warmth, and of course, courage!

Your imagining it, is my creating it. Love, The Universe
 (New art, available here)
(New art, available here)I had a really big aha moment a few months back when I was given this truth through a sort of divine intervention during a healing/visioning exercise - a part of my collection of woo-woo experiences earlier this year. I'm so grateful for the opening and the wisdom received, because it's true. When we imagine anything, we're in sacred co-collaboration with our highest selves, the universe, God.
But, often, and I mean often, I need the reminder. I don't know about you, but when I reach my own edges, all my imagining is replaced by worry. How will I ever do/begin/finish it? What if I'll never heal this certain wound? What if I fail? What if it's not perfect?
I love this quote by Abraham-Hicks: "When the desire is born, right away you start counting yourselves a failure, because you’ve got this desire that hasn’t been satisfied. Know that you never get it done! And since you never get it done, it’s time to stop being unhappy about what’s undone, because most of it is undone! You are an eternal being. Most of it is undone. Instead of taking score about what’s been achieved — we want you to start feeling anticipation about what is still to arrive."
This wisdom brings me back to center. And back to the truth that my imagining the things I want to release, the things I want to birth, the people I want to surround myself with, the the life I want to live, is a part of a bigger vision that is being held and nurtured by something deeper, more profound, and more beautiful than any mystery I can begin to unravel. But it starts with my imagining it, and having a little faith. And then the magic begins.
I know you know what I mean. And that's precisely why I like you. A lot.
XO,
Kelly Rae

New wall art!! So rustic and charming!!
Friends, we are so excited about our new, new, NEW wall art! The new Slat Board Wall Art pieces are vintage meets rustic meets hand-made. We are particularly love the metal embellishments, which feature sweet, gentle reminders. Love, love, love.
We are so hoping to do more of these! Take a look, and remind yourself to breathe, surrender, and let it go.
Breathe:

The sweet little dragonfly on this piece makes my heart flutter! This board reads: Dear Faith, Thank you for your stillness, your deep breaths, our moments of clarity + hope. Love love love the gratitude in this piece! You can find this at the online retailer Garden Gallery here.
Surrender:

How beautiful are the mixed-media wings and feathers on that hummingbird? This board reads: Surrender your fear. Embrace the uncertainty, and trust your strength. I feel like this board is a love letter to my soul. Find it at Garden Gallery here.
Let It Go:

I've been hearing a LOT of the Frozen song 'Let It Go' around my house lately, and the sentiment still rings so true for me. The board reads: Embrace your vulnerabilities. Ask for what is needed. Do the thing you never thought you could do. And feel the power of how deeply you are loved. How wonderful is that?! Find this piece at Garden Gallery here.
Friends, I hope you find these boards as inspiring as I do. Wishing you all that you need as we move into the fall!

Sincerely, Courage
(New work! Arrives signed, matted, and ready to frame.)
(New work! Arrives signed, matted, and ready to frame.)Been thinking a lot about courage. I've found myself up against some personal edges recently, and as I try and create new permissions for myself and generally reframe my self talk, self expectations, and self care, I'm finding it's taking an extraordinary amount of courage to shift from one way to a new, healthier way. It's a kind of soul work that takes patience, time, and whole lot of practice. I'm so grateful for the new permissions coming through. Feels like new breath, like deep clean inhales and exhales. In with the new, out with the old.
So, although it takes a lot of courage to take the big leaps (into dreams, career changes, parenthood, etc), I'm starting to really appreciate the kind of courage required for the small, everyday puddle jumps that eventually, over time, realign our everyday, ordinary lives.
It's true.
We have what it takes.
And our hearts knew it all along.

Oh my goodness, have you guys seen this new magazine from the lovely people at Stampington & Co? I generally adore all of their publications, but this new one is perhaps my favorite in a long, long time. I read it, story to story, with a warm cup of tea. The pages are full of beautiful words and photos that tell the story of savoring the little things, the moments in our lives that we want to capture and remember. Ahhh, love. Especially love that Nichole's (my new employee!) mama has a photo featured, too!

Tara Mohr: Playing Big

I am super inspired and excited for Tara Mohr's new book, Playing Big. This is an advance copy but it releases soon, and you can pre-order your copy now (she is offering bonus videos and access to a live Q+A call for preorders). Bella Grace

I'm a big fan of Tara's and I'm thrilled that her work is going to reach more hearts!
A little about the book:
In her work coaching women and in her own personal life, Tara Mohr saw a pattern emerge, a problem she describes as women “playing small.” Women are sitting on their big ideas rather than sharing them, holding back their most provocative questions instead of asking them. They are having a collective hallucination that they aren’t “ready” for that bigger role or next step. She made it the focus of her work to help women start playing bigger – pursuing their dreams for their lives and careers, and sharing their voices more boldly.
Based on Mohr’s acclaimed leadership program by the same name, Playing Big provides her proven model for learning to put aside uncertainty and take action. Combining deep inner work with practical skills training, Playing Big offers real and easy-to-implement tools that help the reader learn to trust her instincts, quiet self-doubt, identify her callings, “unhook” from praise and criticism, and begin taking bold and wise action. When women play big, we change the world.
Prepare to be inspired and motivated!! I looovvveee this book.
