Down to business

Okay, I'm back from gallivanting. (Picture me side stepping in a circle banging two halves of a coconut together if it makes you happy, I don't care) But, I'm done traveling to here and there and everywhere.

It's winter. The snow is already half a foot high and I've flopped down in it, dragged trees in from the woods, taken my fair share of facewashes, and the whole bit... so now, I'm inside the house where a fire is roaring, and I'm going to finish Tess' Trio (the next book following up the story of Tess, Cullen, and Rael). If I don't Dana is going to choose a rather large club and wack me with it. No joke. I'm motivated. I'm up at night thinking foursome thoughts.
It's research, really. Really.

Away but still blogging

Okay, I'm going away, again. Another family trip. (sucking in big breath to evoke enthusiasm....) yeah, it's not happenin tonight.
But, I have two guests on my blog for while I'm away. Missy Martine (Nov. 20th) and Gina Gordon (Nov 26th)

Upcoming events

After a little break, I realized I have a bit of catching up to do.

I keep a quick reference on the left column of this blog and a calendar on my member's site, notating what is happening and where, but I'd like to highlight some events here as well.

First up, Fantasia Frog Designs has an interview at the new Author site created by Clarissa Yip. It is called Romance Author Hotspot.

Next H.C. Brown will be visiting my blogspot.

Then I will be visiting H.C. Brown's site where I will be in the Hotseat.

Next, I will be over at Gina Gordon's site where she is throwing a week long party and talking about lingerie. She has invited a group of friends to give their take on all that is lacy, slippery, and sexy.

And last, but not least, Gina will be visiting my blogspot.

Two book releases in early September

Island of Three comes out September 8th through Siren Publishing, and I'm holding a guest appearance to celebrate over at Seriously Reviewed from September 5th until September 11th, 2010.

I will hold a contest to give away an e book copy of Island of Three and I will show off my yet-to-be-finished book trailer! Now, I have to really get to work to come up with a party plan! Anyone have a helium machine?

Also, the Spank! anthology comes out through Logical Lust on September 15th, 2010, and there will be a blog tour to celebrate. My blog will be on September 6th at http://tarasnichols.blogspot.com

Tara back and busy

I'm back, and now I'm positive I don't want to be away for that long again. So much work piles up and I miss out on so much.
Unfortunately I am heading away soon enough, in September, and for about as long. At east this time it is to Vancouver! I love Vancouver.

What I'm working on now:

First edits for Island of Three
Framework edits for Without a stitch
Tess' Trio (which just keeps getting deeper and deeper) a good thing.
And of course the follow up story to Awakening the Blood

After that I hope to focus on some of my teen novels and anthology after anthology. What can I say, they are fun and I have a lot half started. I;m just waiting for the right call.

I will be away, out of the country, in fact, from July 30th until August 6th or so. Give or take a day.
