Looking for a reader review
I guess I could call this a contest, but really, what I was hoping for was a reader review for my latest release Seamless, a short, humorous romance, as well as one for my short erotic paranormal, A Pleasurable Cure For Death.
So, if you would be willing to give an objective review here on goodreads, please reply to this blog post, stating which of the two books you would like to read, and I will put your name in a hat and draw one reader for each book.
I will hold this 'contest' from today (June 30th, 2010 until July 7th, 2010) I will contact the two winners via goodreads PM.
Thanks a bajillion~ Tara

Coming up
The past few months have been a little slower for me, (not a bad thing), but there's a few things on my May calendar. On May 20th I will be talking about my upcoming release, Seamless, on the Breathless Press blog.
Then, the following day is the release of said book, Seamless, my short, but humorous, romance story published through that wonderful publisher, Breathless Press.
I believe that would be a good time to hold a give away. Details will be posted on my blogspot later this week.
On the same day, May 21st, 2010, I will be hosting Abby Wood, and she, in turn, is hosting me on her blog, as we talk all about Abby/Tara.
Other than that, I'm waiting on edits for my next menage amour, Island of Three, and steadily working my way down my W.I.P. list.

Now where's that nonexistant book again?
My son had a restless sleep last night, which of course means I had a restless sleep. Waking up in fits and spurts from 4 a.m. to dawn creates vivid dreams. In one of those dreams I was attending a university class where a book was assigned, a Margret Atwood book, a very thick one. There was a woman's face on the front cover and I felt as though this was a new release, (who knows, maybe it's in the works.) But when I woke up I started looking fore the book and couldn't find it. I wanted to put it into my goodreads list because I'd gone to all the work of reading it, and I didn't even have a title. Well, boo hoo. It never existed, and I sweated transcribing fantasy hours of notes off the blackboard for nothing.

New book added to my list
I just added the details for my next book release, Seamless, a very short and humorous story coming out through Breathless Press May 21st. The story is only 2k+ but I have just been requested to do the sequel for Bridgette and Geoff's blossoming and awkward romance.
But, first I need to keep my mind set on the Victorian era and all things that go clink, whirr, and whoosh with the Cleis press anthology call I'm determined to write. It's half done nd the hard part might be shortening it so it fits within the maximum length.

The ahem... erotica.... section please
I went into a bookstore today and wandered over to my favorite section, romance. I always have a list of titles or 'authors to buy' on me, so I pulled it out. Disappointingly, most of the titles weren't there, but I found it especially strange that I couldn't find hide nor hair of Lora Leigh. She's well known, big time. A friend said she was really good and I was hoping to pick something up.
Seeing I wasn't getting anywhere fast, I decided to ask a clerk. When the clerk heard the name she drew in close and spoke in a hushed whisper.
"Those are the NAUGHTY books. You'll find them in the erotica section."
Naughty books? Oh well. Spank me once and point me in the right direction lady.
Minus the spanking, she very happily walked me over to the area and pulled a handful of books down from the top shelf. She didn't even bat an eye when I picked two books to purchase, only nodded her approval.
I know erotica, and the topic of sex in general, makes people uneasy, but so many people really enjoy it, or at least they are secretly intrigued by it.
I just get a kick out of other people's reactions.

Book Give Away coming up
I have listed A Pleasurable Cure For Death, my short erotic/romance vampire story, published this past December through Cobblestone-press, in The Romance Studio daily giveaway.
So, if you're looking to win a copy that's a great place to stop by, on March 23rd, I believe.
