Website is defunct
For some reason my webpage loads that it is hosting a nasty virus. not just my webpage but my husband's too. Apparently it is possible that a third party can break in, rearrange the html furniture, and leave a soiled mess of contagious viral festering code behind. I have looked at the code but can't see anything amiss, so, until it's cleaned up, don't bother visiting my website, the updates won't have changed, and I don't want anyone to get whatever this icky pondscum inserted muck that now exists as my homepage. Grrr.

Breaking and Entering with Latte
When is it okay to pick a lock to a woman's bath? When you know the woman inside, and she's amicable to the idea of receiving a frothy latte with her suds.
My husband used to work as a locksmith at a local hardware store, and there have been times when he's come in rather handy. Locked myself in the car, he converts an abandoned strip of metal into a shim, lost that all important house key, or worse yet, locked the keys in the trunk of the car, a simple coat hanger can be hammered flat and with another stray piece we're back in business. It puts a whole new spin on the term handyman.
While on vacation at my in laws, my husband and I were bequeathed a handmedown espresso/latte machine. Some days are just so shiny I can barely believe it, but more to the point of our story, I was soaking away the aches and pains after a day of doing nothing when the door slides open and there stands my man with something caffeinated and steamy just for me.
He left me with the latte to continue soaking, then locked the door behind him. I'd like to say this story had an X-rated ending but alas, while at inlaws, there's just no rating.
But there is lattes.

my Erotic Paranormal Awakening the Blood has a release date!
Amidst the hurly burly hubbub of getting home from a three week vacation only to discover the power had been off in my house for four days, the fact that my website is hosting a virus, and my phone is offline, I have some happy news as well. My first paranormal novella is to be released through Amira Press this Friday (July 17th). I finished the final edits while away and now everything is ready to go.
Awakening the Blood features my sexy winged vampire, D'iamonte, and Meara, a dark haired beauty haunted by her nightmares.
Awakening the Blood is one of four books in the Wings Collection. The other authors are Brieanna Robertson, Anastasia Rabiyah, and Sarah Kades.
Here is the link to the a
Here is the blurb:
Reeling from her recent break up, Meara ditches a Halloween party held in a cemetery at the edge of town, and seeks out the one reliable man in her life - who just happens to be a statue with large bat wings. The winged man had always intrigued her, but that just seems to go along with her other idiosyncrasies – her ability to read emotions and dream the future.
Even after years imprisoned in marble, D'iamonte can feel and see everything that goes on around him. Most of the time, his encounters have been unpleasant, but when his beautiful young mortal comes calling, late one Halloween, he is surprised and pleased that she feels bold enough to crawl in to his lap and have her way with him.
Neither of them expects him to wake up.

Five Stars for Claiming Cullen
Claiming Cullen has a review! I'm very pleased.

“This has it all” 5 stars
Tess goes on a camping trip with five guys, including her boyfriend. She is a free-spirit, to say the least. She teases them until, with the prompting of her boyfriend, they end up taking turns with her. To me, this was the main part of the book.
The other thread is that Cullen and Rael find comfort in their lust for each other. The problem is that both Cullen and Rael also want Tess in their long-term relationship.
What type of sex does this book not have? This book has it all, and the action is non-stop. The plot is great, also. There is anal, oral, m/f/m, and m/m.

Going away for a while
I posted a quiz on my blogspot a little while ago, asking if people preferred an author let them know when they were unavailable. The answer was yes, so... I'm going to be away, Fyi, just so you know,... yadda, yadda.
I'll be gone with minimal email and internet access from June 30th until July 16th. The last time I went away I signed a book contract, saw one book released, and approved two book covers. This time there shouldn't be as much news to miss out on.
Now all I need to know is "do I bring erotic reading material to my in-laws or not?"
I still need to finish Playing, and by the cover it's pretty obvious what the book is about. I could bring e books printed on 8 x 11 sheets, but my ink cartridge is flagging me down for a refill. I could bring Pull of Blood! That's it! I'll save Pull of blood for the trip!
Thanks, I needed that.

My writing point of view
I wrote a blog about my writing progress on the Romancing the Blog site. It's a humorous perspective, (I hope). Please feel free to leave a comment.

Progress
I feel a need to explain the steep decline in my online presense. I recently discovered my internet package only allows me so much browsing time before I have to let others use the satelite. Ugh. If I go over it freezes up my computer and I have to restart the whole system. Bleah. So, I'm limiting my yaking and gabbing until I find a better package that allows me to be more social.
In the meantime I'm working on edits for Awakening the Blood, my upcoming paranormal novella with Amira Press.
I'm also making another booktrailer. This one for Awakening the Blood. Focusing on sexy winged vampires isn't a bad way to preoccupy oneself, let me tell you.
That aside, feel free to PM or leave me a note. I check email often, I just can't do it rapid fire. So sad.

Road Trip
by Tara Nichols
After a long, cold winter spent indoors, a drive in the country to an unknown destination is just what Mona needs. The simple act of going for a drive has sensuous effects on the kinky, urban girl, something, Jess, her boyfriend, is well aware of. Mona grows more and more aroused with each deserted side road they pass and Jess shows no sign of stopping. Seeing he isn’t about to pull over and do her right, she starts to tease him as best she can in the little space she is provided, hoping to rile him up enough to give her a spanking. When she finally succeeds in driving Jess to distraction, Mona can only hope she’s been naughty enough.
Ticket to a Spanking
By Jude Mason
If you have a kinky young couple into the spanking lifestyle, and you add a female friend who’s intrigued by it, fun things can happen. Add a ticket for speeding and the fella’s desire to expose his masochist needs; you definitely have the makings for an afternoon of naughty pleasures.
Julie’s the dominant wife, Ken, the naughty husband and Chris, well she’s just plain curious about it all and very horny. Ken’s speeding ticket brings these three together for an afternoon of sexy, painful pleasure. He gets his butt warmed, Julie gets to show her girlfriend just how much fun a spanking can be. And Chris is inspired to try it all on her own wayward husband.
Will Ken find ‘release’ from the two sexy women or will his rampant erection go unattended, unlike his rosy red bum?
Reign Me In
Amber Skyze
Delia is happy being a stay at home wife, spending her husband’s money. Only problem? Scott doesn’t share her enthusiasm. Yes, he wants his wife to enjoy the finer things in life, but he wants her to stay within a budget.
Delia can’t stick to a budget.
To teach her a lesson Scott paddles her.
Who knew getting spanked could be so arousing? Not Delia, but now that Scott’s turned her on she wants more. In fact she might go over her limit just to feel the heightened orgasms.
Can Scott rein her in before they lose it all?
