The New Year's Resolutions
It's the last day of the year 2015. New Year's Eve. Time to...No, I'm not going to review it as, ah well... it's better not to say too much, right?
And don't expect from me any New Year's Resolutions. I'm not good in keeping them just like the members of the UN. We know what happens to their resolutions, right?
But there is one thing, I'm going to do. At least I will try very hard not to forget about it.
Not so long ago, I came across a very beautiful song, actually it's an adaptation sung by three magnificent voices Il Volo.
The music (composed by Nicola Piovani) comes from a movie La Vita e Bella or better known as Life is Beautiful (by Roberto Begnigni). The lyrics was written by Noa and somehow summaries everything I have to keep in mind.
Life Is Beautiful
Smile, without a reason why
Love, as if you were a child,
Smile, no matter what they tell you
Don't listen to a word they say
Cause life is beautiful that way.
Tears, a tidal wave of tears
Light, that slowly disappears
Wait, before you close the curtain
There is still another game to play
And life is beautiful that way
Here with his eyes forevermore
I will always be as close as you
remember from before
Now that you're out there on your own
Remember what is real and
what we dream is love alone
Keep the laughter in you eyes
Soon your long awaited prize
We'll forget about our sorrows
And think about a brighter day
Cause life is beautiful that way.
We'll forget about our sorrows
And think about a brighter day,
Cause life is beautiful that way
There's still another game to play
And life is beautiful that way.
These are also my wishes for you for the forthcoming year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!!!

December review
The days go by so fast.
So this is the main reason I missed my opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas, or if you're not celebrating Christmas, Happy Holidays...
This year under our Christmas tree there is no Nativity Scene, because my son decided it's time to go back in time - before Christmas... so under our tree lies a pink Unicorn.
But that is not what I wanted to write today. As there are only a few days left in the year 2015, today I was surprised with another wonderful review on Amazon.
The book was hard to put down!, December 28, 2015
ssterling says:"I found the book hard to put down, I enjoyed the easy to follow story line. It was easy to get lost in the world of Formula 1 Racing playing with the rich and powerful. I would recommend reading this book. June Moonbridge has done a great job on her first book. Looking forward to reading more of her books!"
It's short and it's sweet. I love it!It's great to finish the year with yet another honest review.

Christmas Campaign
A few weeks back I joined a Facebook group called Marketing Mastermind Group by the lovely Lynne Cobine. The group is all about helping authors and other small businesses to do better promotion for their books and products by "spending less time promoting our books or business, but still get engagement."
So at the beginning of December some of us from the group joined forces and decided to do a Christmas Campaign. Yes, mostly what you'll find in this Christmas Campaign are books (mine included), and many of them are with the obvious theme - Christmas, but not all.
I invite you to check this site:
Box of Words
check out the books that we are offering and if you like anything, go to the 'buy links' and - well, buy it.
I promise you, you won't be sorry...

Christmas mood - ON!
I do love the time around Christmas. As a child most of my Christmas holidays were white. But lately it happens very rarely.
Not really surprising with everything what goes around with the world climate, right? But then again when I was a child it was so much easier to fall into the Christmas mood; a little (or in my case a lot) of snow, free days from school, expectation of Christmas presents - and that was basically it.
Now, being all grown up ( don't laugh! ) things are not so simple anymore.
As I mentioned, usually no snow (although, don't get me wrong - at the present time I like snow in lowlands only during the time of Christmas and New Year, otherwise I'm happy if it's only up on the hills and mountains), only a few free days from - yes, you guessed it right - work, no expectation of Christmas presents as mostly I buy them for my family and friends...
So, to turn my Christmas/festive mood on - I attack YouTube and seek out the Christmas songs. In the past decade or so, I chose my favourites... and there are many of them!
As much as some songs adaptations are better than the originals and some are good versions and some are - so-so, there is one (by my opinion) that should never face an adaptation. Do you wonder which one?
Well, here it is:

November reviews
Unfortunately the whole November was a bit of a mess and rushing from one side to the other to do all the things I needed to, so couple of others, unfortunately had to wait.
So, as today is the last day of November it's the only right thing for me to do - to share with you November reviews of my debut novel Racing Heart which I found on Amazon and Goodreads.
First, a review I discovered on Goodreads is from Laura Diaz: 4 STARS and you can read it here
Goodreads review by Laura Diaz A part from her review says: "Parts of the story were emotionally evocative & the author certainly knows how to pack a punch."
Second review was done on Amazon.com - written by K.C. : another 4 STARS and you can find it here: Amazon.com review by k.c.
A part from a review I like says:"The setting is lush and well-researched, the characters flawed and believable."
Well, can you find a better way to start a week and end a month? :)

November's Interview on Fiona Mcvie's blog
It's true. I never thought I would be interviewed so many times. And you know what? It's fun. It's fun to read questions and although they are getting similar, some are so different that they take you time to answer them.
On Sunday another interview saw the 'light of the internet' and if you missed it: here is a link to it.
Fiona Mcvie's: Here is my interview with June Moonbridge
Don't be shy. Go and check for yourself. It's fun.

Review - Nikki's Books4U: Racing Heart by June Moonbridge
Another review? But of course and fab one on Nikki's Books4U blog.
Nikki says: "...The motor racing is not the main focus of the story, so if like me you do anything to avoid the Formula One season when it begins, don't let it put you off reading this book..."
Go on and check her review. You'll find it here:

And while you're there, don't forget to read some other great blog post too!
