What is Afterlife (The Sonnet) | Sin Dios Sí Hay Divinidad

“The building blocks of life come from nature, and upon death they merge back with nature. Afterlife is about living in people’s heart, not in some fictitious paradise. Do something so impossibly human that the humans aren’t able to forget you ever.”

“What is Afterlife (The Sonnet)

Read a few books, you live a little.
Help a few beings, you live a lifetime.
Heaven is not a place high above the sky,
Heaven is the moment you’re someone’s lifeline.
Even I enjoy a good dc and marvel story,
But it mustn’t turn you blind to reality.
To live selfish is the animal’s purgatory,
To die while living for others is humanity.
Memory is the fabric upon which time is carved.
Where there is no memory, there is no time.
Neurons are the building blocks of mind and memory.
Where there is no neuron, there is no paradise.
There’s not one but two paradise, one real, another fiction.
The real one is made of action, the other imagination.”

Click Less, Live More (The Sonnet) | Amantes Assemble

Moments are vessel for memories,
Don’t waste them on snobbish hypes.
A memory cherished with a loved one,
Is worth more than a billion likes.
The less devices you have to charge,
The more charge you have for your mind.
The less you obsess over convenience,
The more you develop actual insight.
Purpose of camera is to capture memory,
Not to desecrate the moments seeking attention.
Purpose of a picture is to rejuvenate emotions,
Even a thousand pictures are useless without emotion.
Click less, live more – that is the motto of wellness.
Or else, click more, sick more – there is no treatment.

Using scripture to decode morality is like using the abacus to code iOS | Yarasistan

Using scripture to decode morality,
is like using the abacus to code iOS.
Likewise, using mere reason to decode life,
is like trading in a family for computers.

Computers do have a role in family,
But computers are not family themselves.
Just like scriptures may have a role in life,
But scriptures alone ain’t life themselves.

The coming generations will sure be free,
from the stupidity of fundamentalist religiosity.
But they’ll be the victim of a new stupidity, i.e.
intellectual fundamentalism or militant logicality.

And trading in one stupidity for another,
only gets us stuck in derangement eternal.
Just know, love has no proof, love is the proof,
And, love has no gospel, love is the gospel.

When love is the center of our field of vision,
All things civilized attain their rightful place.
But when we replace love with either ritual or reason,
We end up with everything except peace and wellness.

Esperanza Impossible Sonnet 30

There is nothing free about your will,
All of it is conditioned to the hilt.
If you are to foster any original will,
A lot of soil you’ve got to till.
Perception is not observation,
Perception is prediction.
The brain doesn’t care about observing,
It only puts forward a self-serving illusion.
Your will is but puppet to that illusion,
Which means you are but a puppet to evolution.
You do have the brain power to take control,
But it’ll take a lot of inconvenient self-correction.
If you can do that, you shall rise as sapiens.
Or you’ll just end up as compost in nature’s garden.

Biochemistry Sonnet | Amantes Assemble

Chemicals breed prejudice,
Chemicals breed love.
Chemicals breed hate and rage,
Chemicals breed the atoning dove.
Chemicals breed walls of divide,
Chemicals breed the bridge to unite.
Chemicals breed death and disease,
In those very chemicals we find sight.
Chemicals are us, we are the chemicals,
In this mortal world there is nothing else.
While most are run by the whim of chemicals,
Some bend chemicals at will, as true sapiens.
Chemicals are the cause, chemicals are the result.
Awareness of chemicals is awareness of the world.

Poetry and Philosophy (The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

Good poetry is but philosophy,
Good philosophy is but poetry.
It is only the majority amateurs,
Who insist on a divided duality.
Poetry is not about the rhyming,
Philosophy is not about profundity.
A warm philosopher is walking poetry,
A gentle poet is walking philosophy.
Poetry is the most potent form of philosophy,
As it brings illumination through simplicity.
Anybody can make things sound more complicated,
Only the best philosophers can write good poetry.
In philosophy, deeper we go, simpler things get.
Philosopher talks of light, poet swims in it.

Best of poetry is an act of selfless care | Yarasitan

It takes a lot of heart to build trust,
Even more to keep the trust.
But what if both hearts are in pieces,
How will they ever overcome their past!

The answer is really quite simple, and yet,
It is the last revelation to be crystal clear.
Seek not for perfection but for the being,
Broken in heart but intact in character.

The road to joy is paved with broken hearts,
Broken heart is something to cherish not mourn.
Heart not broken is a heart devoid of life,
That’s how the pieces of two fit together as one.

Poet has no power over the muse,
It’s the muse who powers the poet.
Best of poetry is an act of selfless care,
As the poet pens the pain through hopelessness.

Abhijit Naskar Sonnet 1000 | Himalayan Sonneteer

“Himalayan Sonneteer Sonnet 100
(Naskar Sonnet 1000)

It’s the little everyday acts of justice,
That bring most change in society.
It’s the little everyday acts of justice,
That actually eliminate inhumanity.
One big revolution in five years,
Brings no lasting change.
But one small act of uncompromise everyday,
Makes the whole world gain conscience.
Hence, reformation of a nation isn’t measured,
By how many big revolutions it has to face.
Reformation of a nation is predicated on,
How many citizens it has who refuse to bend.
So I say – break the chains, take off the blinkers.
The whole world awaits, for it needs to be tinkered.”

Till integration becomes life, life will lead to disintegration | The Centurion Sermon

“Be the proof of integration,
When prejudice is the tradition.
Devise your own inclusive destiny,
When heritage is rooted in division.”

“Islamophobia doesn’t disappear simply because you choose to close your eyes. Can you stand by a dehumanized muslim, against the bigoted barbarians of your own culture, and speak out at the top of your voice and conviction – I am a muslim, just as much as I am a christian – I am a muslim, just as much as I am a jew – I am a muslim, just as much as I am a buddhist – hindu – or atheist? Can you? Because, until every threat to the welfare of the dehumanized humans actually, genuinely, internally feels like a threat to your own family, no phobia will ever come to an end – no hatred will ever face demise. Till every culture, every country, every corner of the planet, becomes our own culture, our own country, our own home, there is no peace, there will never be peace. And this, my friend, is called practical divinity, practical sufism, practical nondualism, and practical humanism. Or better yet, this is the ism beyond all isms – this is the ism that concerns the life, laughter and loveliness of the entire humankind – this – is humanity.”

Need Teachers Not Cops ( The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

“The world needs less cops and more teachers,
While cops enforce law, teachers instill accountability.
Thus law enforcement only produces an illusion of order,
It’s the teachers who can create a crime-free society.
If students are the future, teachers are future maker,
So be civilized and focus on lifting teachers and students.
Government of baboons invests in police ‘n defense contracts,
While a truly civilized government invests in education.
Arm the teachers with books and students with sustenance,
Then watch them accomplish the impossible future,
A future of true lasting order, reform and harmony,
Which a billion police cannot achieve in a billion years.
Society that empowers teachers empowers peace.
Society that empowers police empowers malice.”

“Law is like a band-aid. Band-aids don’t heal the wound, they only prevent further infection while your natural immune system does the healing. Likewise, law doesn’t cure crime, it only keeps crime in check, while individual accountability treats the inhumanity that causes crime. And at some point the band-aid must come off, because, just like a body covered in band-aid is the sign of a sick person, a society covered in law is the sign of a sick species.”
