I Expand, Therefore I Am (The Sonnet)

I expand, therefore I am,
Thought is no measure of sapiens.
Even a dog can think what's best for it,
Such selfishness is no existence.
Expansion makes the human,
Inclusion strengthens life.
Diversity beautifies society,
There is no room for divide.
Sanity lies in unselfishness,
Selfishness is inhumanity.
When all world becomes one family,
That my friend is true community.
Let us be vast and breathe in the world.
Let us show all, the blue dot is no less bold.

Sonnet of Stagnation

Stagnated water breeds disease,
When in motion it breathes life.
Stagnated mind breeds segregation,
When in motion it breaks divide.
Stagnated air breeds pollution,
When in motion it brings rejuvenation.
Stagnated ideas breed prejudice,
When in motion they bring illumination.
We are not a species, we are a family,
A stagnated psyche cannot feel its delight.
Open your eyes from your rigid sleep,
In your vision the world will unite.
All animals are bound to live in stagnation.
Only human neurons hold the capacity for expansion.

Honor He Wrote Sonnet 40

To learn from yesterday is growth,
To be stuck in yesterday is decay.
To look for a better future is vision,
To be stuck there only causes dismay.
Glance at the past, aim for the future,
But keep your feet grounded in present.
Learn from history, envision the destiny,
‘N dive in today with your sweat valiant.
Memory is meant to give you ground,
Not to impede in your prosperity.
Vision is to embolden your footsteps,
Not to disconnect you from reality.
Some make history their prison, some future.
Bid goodbye to those inmates, ‘n be a timemaster.

Honor He Wrote Sonnet 19

From error to error, we’ll correct our errors.
From failure to failure, we shall rise high.
From despair to despair, our fears disappear.
From scar to scar, our heart learns to fly.
From one jinx to another, we become destiny.
From darkness to darkness, we become light.
One wound to another, we become the cure.
From one loss to another, we understand life.
Dust bite after dust bite, all dust become ointment.
One lost road after another, we draw a new map.
Teardrops upon teardrops, all tears turn elixir.
One screw-up after another, we learn to grow up.
One heartbreak to another, we become the healer.
Bearing crisis upon crisis, we shall rise as creator.

Peace is Existence (The Sonnet) | Mücadele Muhabbet

Peace is not a statement,
Peace is existence.
Love is not a sentiment,
Love is sentience.
Awareness is not a practice,
Awareness is absolution.
Moderation is not restriction,
Moderation is jubilation.
Ignorance is not inferiority,
Ignorance is upliftment.
Failure is not the end,
It is the road to development.
Acknowledge the whole, quirks and all.
You have all the powers to treat the world.

On Shortfalls and Strongholds | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavatan: 100 Demilitarization Sonnets

The biggest requirement of learning is to know your limits of the moment. Let me elaborate with an example. Alongside my mainstream works, I have wanted to create complete works in turkish and spanish for several years. And few years back, with my rather limited experiential understanding of both languages, I even took it upon myself to do so, but I got stuck on the very first page. Why? Because it is one thing to pen occasional gems in another language, and totally different to release an entire work in that language. I was ready at heart, but not at brain. So, instead of writing whole works in these languages, I simply made turkish and spanish a joyful addition to my mainstream work – however the original linguistic and cultural intention kept reflecting in the titles of works, such as Aşkanjali, The Gentalist, Gente Mente Adelante, Mucize Insan and so on. It was not until late 2023 that my brain finally caught up with my heart, and delivered the first complete original turkish and spanish Naskarean works to the world.

Know your strongholds, they’ll take you far. Know your shortfalls, they’ll take you farther. Strongholds help you enhance your predominant capacities, whereas shortfalls help you unfold new possibilities – they help you unfold new vistas of human endeavor.
