#50: Glowing Amazon Reviews!

Hey, everyone!

It's crazy how much time is flying these days... I've not only been dealing with frustrating personal/family situations, but it's also time to start planning for the future!

And by future, I definitely mean the sequel to The Blood Diamond! Which is TECHNICALLY fully written, but there's a good chunk that I plan to rewrite, so I'm not entirely off the hook there~ Anyway! This following month, I'll likely start getting those rewrites done in my free time - and honestly, there is a LOT of free time - so I hope it doesn't take too long!

I guess the twin focuses of today's blogpost is to 1) mention that I'm already getting around to rewriting/editing book two for future publication and 2) give an update on The Blood Diamond! Last month's ebook sale must've done SOMETHING, because ever since I've been receiving MULTIPLE 5-star ratings over on Amazon~ To the point where I have SIX ratings as of this blog, with all six giving me a 5-star rating! And to that I just have to say THANK YOU! It is actually such a relief that all of that hardcore editing I managed with my editor paid off, considering the previous publisher missed some very easy mistakes. Reason I bring that up is because some of the reviews on my previous version of The Blood Diamond gave it 1 to 2-star ratings simply based on the spelling errors.

I wanna end this blog on a high note (as if it's not already on a high note thanks to those glowing reviews~) so I also wanted to highlight that this blog, the one you're reading RIGHT NOW, is my 50th post here on my website! That's just... crazy?! I made this site back in December of 2017 as part of my new years resolution and I gotta say that my attitude towards this blog (and writing as a whole) as changed so much! For the better, of course!

Anyway, I'd better head out! Hope everyone had a decent September~

#48: A Rather Discouraging Launch...

Hey, everyone!I hope you all had a decent July~ I've pretty much spent the whole month drawing art for the event known as Artfight, so obviously I haven't been writing much since we last spoke... but still! I hope you're all doing alright; hope everyone's being safe and healthy during this (still) crazy time in our existence.I've also come to the conclusion that the launch for The Blood Diamond...was a total flop.And I can't be certain if it was my fault or... okay, maybe it's definitely my fault-! I don't want to blame my friends and fans, and I can't be completely sure if Amazon is hiding the Kindle Unlimited sales from my view (since they were pretty much FREE copies) But anyway! I really hope that, if you're subscribed to this blog, that you wish to support my writing endeavors! buy the book if you haven't, of course!So the lack of reviews and sales is one thing that made me title this blog (if that wasn't obvious enough)... it's just very discouraging, for me to promote my own book tirelessly, for Limitless to promote my book the best they possibly can... and barely receive any feedback in response. I apologize if I sound like I'm whining, but this launch was definitely not a successful one... and if it weren't for the fact that I have multiple books to put out for The Hunters Saga, I fear that I'd quit writing ASAP...Back to more... happy topics, I wanted to showcase a couple of Artfight attacks I've received since the beginning of the month That's about it for this month's report... #47: Post-Launch CHAOS!

Hey, everyone!So June has been a rather chaotic month! Both in regards to writing and publishing (The Blood Diamond's out on Amazon right now, if you haven't already heard!!) as well as my personal life... Lots of computer issues have cropped up since last Thursday, but I hope to change that today- as a replacement CPU has been ordered and should arrive later today (update: it ARRIVED while I was typing this out-)! I'm also lowkey prepping for Artfight (even though I hope to not take it quite so seriously this year- as it's given me so much stress the last couple of years that I've participated) but yeah! That'll be a focus for the next month or so~Honestly, there isn't much news as far as writing/editing goes at the moment? Mainly because my book was just released and I want to give it some breathing room before starting the rewrite for book 2! Post-Launch CHAOS!
