Intuition + Intention: 5 Steps to Create and not Just Predict Your Future

Premonition

There are some people who believe in Premonition – a clear vision or awareness of what lies ahead on your path before you physically get there is possible. Perhaps we have read about various prophecies in religious or spiritual books or biographies as made by various spiritual masters. Or we could have had a personal and direct experience of ESP through clairvoyant dreams or visions that tell us exactly what will occur in future and have directly verified it as true. Some of us have enjoyed astrology, tarot and other devices of fortune-telling and have been often surprised at the accuracy especially at the hands of a genuine psychic. Others who are disbelievers may not be open to any premonition yet or even afraid to experience the same, whether out of religious fear or scientific skepticism.

But for those of us who have had any experience close to a premonition, what does this phenomena tell us? Does it mean that our future is entirely ‘Predestined’ and if yes by whom – an outside person we call ‘God’ who is controlling our reality? Or does it tell us in advance what WE are manifesting or literally ‘making up’ in our dream called life through our own choices in each moment?

Could we have a higher ‘Self’ – a part of us that is awakened and existing beyond time-space that can see through the illusion of time and show us where our current timeline is going? Can this higher Self also help us alter our course or timeline to manifest a better life on earth or beyond? How can we awaken ourself and free our consciousness to higher levels of multi-dimensionality and spiritual ascension?

Meditation: Find some time for yourself and detach from the humdrum of daily life for a few minutes to an hour a day by gently closing your eyes and breathing through your heart center. Feel peace and watch your thoughts fade away into inner silence for as long as you can. With time and dedicated practice you will get better over the months and years of meditation. This exercise helps us tune into our inner-self or consciousness which is beyond mind and body. As our we become increasingly aware of our consciousness we will be more awakened and reunited with the Higher Self beyond time-space. At later stages we might have prophetic and awakening messages and visions to accurately guide us ahead or upwards in our life.
Higher Intentions: As per higher guidance or intuition we might get a sense of what feels right to us in our day to day life. Our higher Self when awakened will help us choose a direction that is best for us. This will help us hold only positive intentions regarding what we wish to manifest in our life. We might want to verbalize our intentions or write them down in the form of positive affirmations in the present tense as if those wonderful things are right now being experienced by us and not mere wishes or prayers. For example, “I am enjoying a state of phenomenal health and wellbeing right now”, “I am so grateful that only good things are happening to me and my loved ones from this point on”, “I live in a happy world where peace and kindness prevail in every heart.”
Positive Emotions: Transforming our inner state from anger, hate, guilt or fear to unconditional love is a major part of self-actualization. A lot of meditation and mindfulness masters are self-realized with great wisdom and powerful minds. Emotional energy however is the key to actualizing or manifesting a better world because emotions have the capacity to condense or materialize our thoughts into real situations. Great healing is experienced as a result of wholesome and positive emotional shifts. Instead of merely making positive intentions, transforming our inner state of one that resonates or matches with the freqency of what we intend to manifest is most helpful.
Healthy Behaviors: While peacefulness, positive thoughts and emotions are necessary in manifestation of a better future, they need to also translate into better actions in our day to day physicality. From ethical ways of eating, shopping, breathing, body-care, hygeine to the way we treat others and ourself, caring for our environment, animals, home and people in our life, there are many ways we can align with our higher Self. Conscious ways of living are helpful in ascension towards a more magical and heavenly reality. Our actions speak much louder than thoughts and words in order to bring us closer to manifesting what is good.
Patient Receptivity: In our quest to achieve our goals, manifest a perfect life and a better world, it is quite possible we get restless, frustrated and upset at our every shortfall, or lose patience with others who do not seem to be in alignment with our deeper needs. Instead of succumbing to this pressure, we can stay aligned with positive emotional and mental vibrations of loving kindness so that we do not block our own path. We also need to be open and aware that our higher Self is indeed capable of helping us manifesting something that is even better than what we were intending originally and stay flexible to when, how and what exactly we will manifest our best. By relaxing and allowing ourself to transform our vibrations to positive energy we can flow more easily to the higher Self or God through an open heart.

Finally we can remember that higher Self or God is not really separate from us. Our innermost nature is pure Love and to stay aware and in alignment with who we really are is the real power or magic of manifestation.

Seven Links Between Religion and Veganism

We all have noticed phenomenal spiritual awakening in recent years, typically including a transformational shift to Vegan food in those people who meditate and develop inner love, compassion or connection with the universe. But did you know that even our ancient spiritual and religious traditions all over the world, including The Bible included Veganism?

The Bible: In the first chapter, Genesis it is stated that God said (to humans), “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.” This statement conveys a belief that in the beginning of creation, God had intended us to consume plants for food because plants are designed in such a way that they regrow and are not killed when eaten. It is only later after we ‘fell asleep’ that humans indulged in animal farming, rituals of animal sacrifices and meat consumption as noted in the Bible and in our world, although these would go against the Biblical commandment of ‘Thou Shalt Not Kill’ . Our awakening therefore is likely to involve a return to compassion and veganism as per the original divine plan.[image error]
Vedas: The concept of Ahimsa as per ancient Vedic precepts includes ‘Non Harming’. According to Atharvaveda which predates The Bible by thousands of years, “Ahimsa is not causing pain to any living being at any time through the actions of one’s mind, speech or body.” Thus ‘himsa’ or harm includes harming any being not only physically but also mentally through negative thoughts or words. This greatly expands our concept of ‘Ahimsa’ to include not only Veganism but also purity of mind and speech by acknowledging the magical power in our thoughts and words. Practices of animal sacrifices as part of religion seem to divert from or contradict the ancient teachings of ahimsa.[image error]
Taoism: According to ancient Chinese texts from 5th century, the first of precepts or guideline from the Lord includes, abstaining from killing. “The precept against killing is: All living beings, including all kinds of animals, and those as small as insects, worms, and so forth, are containers of the uncreated energy, thus one should not kill any of them.” In modern China there are few animal welfare laws and killing of several varieties of animals and even eating some of them alive has been a social norm in stark contrast to their ancient spiritual guidelines.[image error]
Buddhism: As described by Buddha in the Pali-Canon (said to be the words of Buddha), “There is the case where a certain person, abandoning the taking of life, abstains from the taking of life. He dwells with his rod laid down, his knife laid down, scrupulous, merciful, compassionate for the welfare of all living beings.” As such the first precept of Buddhism has been stated as “to abstain from killing”. Not all Buddhists abstain from meat as some have been initiates in the older Bhikku traditions where they accepted whatever food was offered to them, however the first precept of Buddhism remains central to most of its followers who believe in vegatarianism.[image error]
Hinduism: The Bhagvat Gita which is based on the words of Krishna (avatar or incarnation of Vishnu or God) when he displayed his infinite-form mentions ‘Ahimsa’ or non-violence as one of the qualities of divine beings. Although Krishna speaks several thousand years B.C. at the battlefield of Mahabharata which is full of violence and killing, the virtues of non-violence is still stated as one of the highest of all. In Maha-bharata “He who desires to augment his own flesh by eating the flesh of other creatures, lives in misery in whatever species he may take his [next] birth.” The Hindu word ‘Karma’ is all about our actions, both mental and physical, and each action leads to a re-action leading us into entanglement with the world-process wherein we would keep receiving the result of our deeds. To free ourself from the bondage of karma is the path of salvation and it begins from being as harmless as possible, thus reducing the negative karmic cycles that cause us suffering in life and afterlife.[image error]
Manu-Samhita: According to the ancient Indian text of the ‘laws of Manu’ or the first man who survived the ‘great flood’ in an ark as guided by a prophetic fish (incarnation or avatar of Vishnu or God), much like the Biblical Noah but dated hundreds of years B.C, “He who does not seek to cause the sufferings of bonds and death to living creatures, but desires the good of all, obtains endless bliss. He who does not injure any creature attains without an effort what he thinks of, what he undertakes, and what he fixes his mind on.” It also states that , “Meat can never be obtained without injury to living creatures, and injury to sentient beings is detrimental to the attainment of heavenly bliss.” Furthermore, “He who permits the slaughter of an animal, he who cuts it up, he who kills it, he who buys or sells meat, he who cooks it, he who serves it up, and he who eats it, must all be considered as the slayers of the animal.”[image error]
Jainism: One of the most clear of all teachings of Ahimsa or non-violence is from Mahavira (appx 500 BC) who stated “Kill not, cause no pain. Nonviolence is the greatest religion.” Instead of rites and rituals, Jain teachings focus on cultivation of inner peace and non-violence as the path to liberation from the illusory cycles of life and death or rebirth. Meditation and vegetarian diet are the main practices of this ancient spiritual path.[image error]

Regardless of the teachings of ancient religions, we all know today that a plant based diet is a much more harmless alternative to animal meat and is well within our reach unlike the cave-men of the past who relied upon hunting. It is quite possible for us to consciously choose a diet that does not involve killing by training ourself to enjoy fruit and vegetable based foods that are organically grown, free of harmful pesticides and great for our health.

Eradicating FGM – the Barbaric Practice Against Women

Did you know that in some religions and cultures, even to this day, it is believed that women must be controlled and should not be allowed to have the ‘sin’ of sexual pleasure and therefore their genitals must be cut off brutally even as they are little girls, from infants to those aged 6 or even 14, through deciet as betrayal at the pretext of being taken out for a chocolates or movies?

6 of February was declared by the UN as the International Day of Zero Tolerance to FGM or Female Genital Mutilation.

FGM is often done with razors of knifes without anaesthesia and under unhygenic conditions sometimes leading to excessive bleeding and danger to life. While the horrors of this practice is unimaginable to many of us, according to UN, globally, it is estimated that at least 200 million girls and women alive today have undergone some form of FGM. While the countries where it is practiced in almost every family include African nations (even though it has been banned in many), the practice is prevalent in many countries including India that has no laws against it and where Dawoodi Bohra muslims are known to carry out this atrocity against their own daughters and also in UK where it has been banned but still secretly followed by some communities so that there is one case of FGM reported every hour in the UK.

The justification of this heinous crime comes from religious authorities who have promoted this practice as a tradition and it is often mothers who have been responsible to have this performed on their own daughters in keeping with the tradition. The physical damage and psychological trauma imposed upon young girls is a form of an extreme abuse of women and children.

Indian women who have been victims of this inhumane practice have come together to petition against this practice and to urge Indian government to criminalize it. You can sign this Petition to make FGM illegal in India HERE

Solfeggio: The Miraculous Healing Frequencies of Music

The healing effects of music require no second guessing. Listening to relaxing instrumental music can instantly make us feel better and as per scientific research even reduce the effects of illness and dysfuncions including autism, depression, Parkinsons disease and cancer.

We all know about the seven notes of music – Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti that correspond with the 7 tones of C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C used throughout the world. Originating from sacred Gregorian chants these were originally denoted as Ut, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si  most notably as per the ‘Great Hymn’ connected to St. John the Baptist that goes as: Ut queant laxis, Resonare fibris, Mira gestorum, Famuli tuorum, Solve polluti, Labii reatum, Sancte Joannes ( translates to “So that Your servants may sing at the top of their voices the wonders of Your acts, and absolve the fault from their stained lips”).

[image error]By using the first syllables of Sol-Fa kind, the name SolFeggio is now popularised as the healing tones or frequencies for mind, body and spirit. If we trace the origins of these syllable tones we also find thousands of years old ‘bija mantras’ including those of the seven chakras as per yogic traditions of ancient India that are in close correspondence with the Solfeggio frequencies.

396 hz: Ut queant laxis (It relaxes). This frequency connects with Muladhara or Root chakra and the seed vibration or bija mantra of ‘Lam’ and the colour Red which denotes security, feeling safe, at ease as we let go of all anxiety to ‘be’.

417 hz: Resonare fibris (Vibrate in our fibre). This frequency raises our kundalini through the Svadhishtana or Sacral chakra of passion and sensuality and the seed vibration or bija mantra of ‘Vam’ and the colour Orange to energize us.

528 hz: Mira gestoram (Make Miracles). This frequency helps us manifest our choices magically through our sacred will power or the Manipura or Solar chakra and the seed vibration or bija mantra ‘Ram’ and the colour Yellow to help our light shine.

639 hz: Famuli tuorum (Be of Service).  This frequency helps open our heart to give unconditionally through service to God by serving the universe with the help of the Anhata or Heart chakra and the seed vibration or bija mantra ‘Yam’ and the colour Green to help expand our compassion.

741 hz: Solve polluti (Cleanse impurities). This frequency helps in clearing any negativity or misunderstandings through truthful communication with the help of Vishudda or Throat chakra and the seed vibration of bija mantra ‘Ham’ and the colour Blue to help in pure expression.

852 hz: Labii reatum (Silence the lips). This is the frequency of quiet concentration to help us listen and see from within with the help of our Agya chakra or Third Eye and the seed vibration or bija mantra ‘Sham’ and the colour Indigo for intuition and psychic skills.

963 hz: Sancte Iohannes (Sacred Spirit). This frequency stands for God or Divinity and the Holy Spirit that is within all beings to be channeled through the Sahasrara or Crown chakra and the seed vibration or bija mantra ‘Om’ and the colour Violet for spiritual awakening.

In addition we also have frequencies 285 hz corresponsing to the Earth Star chakra that helps us to ‘Ground’ or connect with the solid world, while the frequency 174 hz corresponds to the Soul Star Chakra that helps us ‘Return’ to the Source or our spiritual home of pure light as we come a full circle.

[image error]The legendary physicist Nikola Tesla, who pioneered breathroughs in energy generation once said ‘If you only knew the magnificience of 3, 6 and 9, you would have the key to the universe.’  As you can see the Solfeggio frequencies are listed from 396 hz with each numeric digit raised to the next one for all seven frequencies until we reach 963 hz.

The best part is that you can simply listen to these tones on your earphones or play them in the background even as you sleep for deep and powerful healing.

Waves of Ascension

For the last few years and especially now we have been witness to amazing spiritual progress in our world. We are ascending, all of us together, whether or not we realize it.

Think about it…we are awakening after centuries of corruption, economic slavery, religious conflicts and self-limiting brainwashing since our childhood. In the last few years itself, we have seen books such as The Secret, The Law of Attraction, The Power of NOW and innumerable others that have helped people become more aware of what is within them, instead of just focusing on things and people around them. Yoga, meditation, energy healing, affirmations, intuition and positive visualization skills are as popular as any other in today’s world. While a few years ago we only heard of the word ‘spiritual’ in context of organized religions of the world, today it is not uncommon to find people who are spiritual and not necessarily religious, or those who are multi-religious and unity conscious. Universal love and compassion are the values associated with spirituality today instead of mere worship or blind belief in the supremacy of any particular deity of any specific land.

Many of us are experiencing changes in our aura, we are seeing an overlap in our astral and material worlds, our physical and light bodies are interacting, we are seeing dreams and realities converge to the point that we all begin to see the ‘illusion’ or ‘play’ of reality for what it really is. In a way ‘the Matrix’ is indeed opening up and we are all learning the truth of our higher or multi-dimensional existence beyond space and time and beyond the limitations that we were so long confined to. Our consciousness is ascending into the higher planes.

But also along with the exciting changes in our perceptive powers, our third-eye activation and the lucid visions or revelations that we are receiving from our higher self or higher consciousness, many of us are also feeling conflicted, confused, achy, moody, lonely, even depressed as old systems and rules are giving way for a new and totally different way of reality…. one that we craft from within. This is the time we all need to support each other in this wave of ascension that is taking over our planet by meditating individually and in groups. We need new forums for interacting with each other by organizing events and groups of healers and meditators for raising our vibrations. We are all gathering as one Soul of earth through our various earth families and friends, helped by our cosmic higher self or star family and angelic friends who are no other than God or Goddess, divine beings of love and light – our True Self.

For those of us who are in Mumbai this event provides one such opportunity. Do pass on the message to those who need it and hope to see you there. All donations are used for charity. Click here to register.

7 Steps to Spiritual Ascension

Spiritual Ascension is all about raising our consciousness in order to free ourself from the limited or conditioned matrix of beliefs and thinking of the outer world by ‘going within’ through meditation.

Here are 7 Key Steps that may help us ascend to higher states of consciousness:

Letting Go Of Dogma: In the higher or ascended states we no longer are a follower of limiting beliefs preached to us from authorities because we have our own inner wisdom to guide us. We awaken through self-realization instead of through dogmatic belief-systems that have so far been used by some people to maintain power and control over others. Those who are strongly conditioned to following fundamental beliefs promoting ‘my God’ over that of other cultures, or any kind of ethenic or racial superiority of ‘a certain tribe’ or people over others, need to first let go of these politically motivated rigid notions and allow more unconditional love to flow from their hearts equally towards all beings.[image error]
Healthier Lifestyle Changes: Ascension is not about being ‘superior’ to others and believing we are higher or holier than others, but about having more simplicity and wellbeing in our life. Lifestyle changes for spirituality are no longer about wearing special vestments or about occupying special spiritual thrones or positions. It is rather about having a healthier and joyful lifestyle with fresh air, clean water, nutritious organic vegetables and natural health through meditation, happier emotional state, joyful interactions and sharing of positive energy. It is not about proving our superiority over nature by controlling the elements, but about being harmonius with nature to share abundance with each other.[image error]
Creator Consciousness: A lot of people have felt anger towards our political, economic and social systems around us by imagining that it is a ‘matrix’ set-up by powers outside our control. Fear of ‘reptilian’ or ‘draconian’ beings that have taken over our planet to control our limited resources and financial systems have been spread through conspiracy theorists. In contrast, ascension is about rising above paranoia and understanding the world to be a manifestation of our inner self. As our inner consciousness awakens so does our world. Through positive consciousness we are able to influence our world in a positive way and send energy towards earth healing by making powerful intentions for abundance, health, joy, equality and peace on our planet. For instance the four step process on www.earthhealingnetwork.com/forum [image error]
Higher Cause: Having a career primarily for financial success has been a source of stress for many individuals. Material needs can be simplified and also easily met when we focus on our life purpose and do what gives us inner joy. Living for a higher cause instead of merely focusing on earning more or being richer than yesterday is the path to ascension. We are preparing to finally open our heart and live soulfully with the joy of giving. By feeling connected to the universe through our inner self, we can ascend to a higher path of our divine destiny. Afterall, the creator is within us and the creator lives through us and helps the world through us. Each of us is an embodiment of the divine self that is capable of bringing heaven to earth.[image error]
Higher Self: While it is easy to believe that we are physical beings with a fixed reality to interact with, spiritual awareness helps us realize our true self that exists beyond space and time. We start experiencing prophecies, clairvoyance, astral travel and miracles that help us believe in our higher self, as a part of us operating from a higher dimension beyond the physical. Recognising that our angelic, divine or higher self is guiding us and helping us throughout our life includes understanding that any angels, deities or beings that we invoke, worship or pray to are actually our own multidimensional self that exists simultaneously in various planes and we are actually awakening our own inner powers through meditation to free more of our consciousness into the higher planes. [image error]
Liberation: Many people have believed that we ascend to ‘God’ or ‘heaven’ upon death. However many of us are gaining awareness that unless we learn required lessons and transform ourselves from within, we are unlikely to ascend even if our present lifetime ends. We might manifest a similar situation from life after life until we learn to overcome our fears and accept our inner truth. Through awakening of unconditional love and positive consciousness we raise our vibrations towards ascension. This includes being free of expectations and endless desires in our physicality and feeling more and more peace with each moment of our life. Self contentment helps us detach from the need to reincarnate from one life to another in our physicality so that more of our consciousness can be liberated into the higher or transcedental planes. [image error]
Home: We may have surely heard of people who believe in ascension and wish to ‘go home’ whether to another planet they believe they are from, or to another star-system, a spacecraft, or to the Source as the next step in their spiritual or soul’s journey. The realization that we are all One Soul or One Being instead of many separate souls is something that helps us actually be at Home right now. We can let go of the illusion of non-duality by witnessing ourself as consciousness and seeing everyone and everything as an extension of our consciousness. Our Home is where our Heart is and our Divine or True Self or Source is simply Love. By going within ourself we can return to our Source or Home righ now, no matter where we may be physically located. The universe is within us and all dimensions and realities are within us as the pure potential of our innermost consciousness. We can through conscious choices, manifest any reality across time and space or simply be at peace with ourself in any moment.[image error]For more interactions join and post on www.aumnow.com

An Economic Vision for Saving the World

There is enough for everyone’s need but not for everyone’s greed and this TED talk is a stark reminder of that! It isn’t blue sky thinking to be able to ‘save the planet’ but inevitable if every city and country roots for this economic vision.

Five years ago Naoko Ishii, an Economist was appointed CEO of Global Environment Facility and discovered how economists so far including herself and her colleagues were totally ignorant about protecting and managing ‘Global Commons‘ i.e. our shared earth resources such as wildlife, air, water and land. In recent years a group of scientists defined 9 Planetary Boundaries the crossing of which could lead to catastrophic change in our survival on earth, and we had already crossed 4 of them and beginningto invade others.  [image error]

To change this alarming situation we must manage our Global Commons by acting like our ancestors who managed our local commons, such as fishing waters and pastures by preventing each other from polluting and depleting all our resources.

Her suggestions focus upon 1) Clean Green Cities 2) Green Energy Systems 3) Less Wasteful Production Systems and 4) Change our Food System to reduce Deforestation and Greenhouse Emissions.

Let cynics play that lone-voice-in-the-wilderness for a change while you and I spread her word to ‘think global, act local’ and take a step or two to make it a better place.

Seven Positive Meanings of the Super Rare Blue Blood Moon on 31 Jan 2018

Full Moon (100% illumination of face of the moon), Lunar Eclipse (alignment of earth, sun and moon), Super Moon (large full moon), Blood Moon (total lunar eclipses) and Rare Blue Moon (extra full moon of a month) have been talked about a lot in recent times, but on 31 January 2018 all of these happen together in just one night making it a special treat happening after 150 years.

Being scientific and spiritual is all about understanding all natural events in a positive way so that we reduce our fears and reprogram ourself to more happiness, success and peace by learning that the way we feel determines the quality of our life and our world in any moment.

While many people in the past or ancient history have been fearful and associated Eclipses and Blood Moons with apocalyptic prophecies, none of these have really come true. At the same time, those who meditate and take charge of their own life have been found to enjoy these events and motivate each other through positive energy work.

Here are some ways of understanding and aligning energetically with this event.

Open Your Heart: The Moon represents feelings and influences the tides of earth. As humans we are all have emotional currents and full moons seem to amplify our inner state by bringing our unconscious energy into the open. Bottled up emotional energy can sometimes develop into complexes that become very difficult to treat later on. This spedial lunar tide can help us be un-repressed, allowing ourselves to feel and experience intensely, not fearing emotions and letting ourselves and our loved ones safely express their feelings without judgements. [image error]
Go Within: This rare phenomena is another opportunity to meditate even more deeply and be in touch with the consciousness within us. Meditation is always good and when so many people are connecting together by linking to special moments such as this one, it amplifies the positive vibrations of earth and helps all of us unite in love and light. Peace and tranqulity in your heart and mind will radiate into the universe which is within yourself. You can see all beings in the universe as part of your expanded consciousness.[image error]
Send Blessings: We sometimes feel that we are connected only through telephones and internet or physical contact with each other, but the truth is that we are always interconnected from within in this energetic web of life. This rare event observed by all of us on earth can be a chance to send blessings and healing to each other and to earth as a whole. In a meditative state, make positive intention for yourself and for others including your loved ones and your planet so that your good wishes manifest.[image error]
Be Grateful: Synchronous events such as this one are signals from our higher self to be aware of the wonderful opportunity called life and the amazing manifestation called the universe that is a creation of our consciousness. We all can appreciate the beauty of nature and be aware of our natural gifts to live more abundantly. The more we focus on the good that we have received in life, the more of good things we will keep attracting or manifesting in our world. [image error]
Enhance Intuition: Moon is a sign of our subconscious becoming conscious, and because this Moon is in Cancer (as per sidereal astrology or the actual position in zodiac), it is even better to use intuition at this time and take the guidance of divination such as tarot, oracular messages, dreams and channeling of higher guidance. You can get clear signals from the universe within yourself about lessons from your past experiences, about where you may be headed to in your soul’s journey, or the opportunities available to you in the present moment.[image error]
Experience Healing: The Blood Moon is a total lunar eclipse as the planet aligns together with sun and moon. At such times some of us feel sad or intense about a lot of things and require to return to ourself for healing. Any trauma, pain or sorrow is brought into light so that we can take required steps for healing. Go for a relaxing healing session for spiritual rejuvination, forgiveness, re-energisation and unconditional love from the Higher Self. Breathe gently and feel positive energy or light entering each cell of your body and each corner of your aura to deeply heal from within.[image error]
Amplify Unity: As this rare event coincides with the second Wolf Moon of January and wolves represents unity and togetherness, we on earth can come together for healing our planet and freeing ourselves from imaginary boundaries of religion or politics. Holding small or large circles of interactive and meditative events held together with family, friends, neighborhood or even online can help us in amplifying unity consciousness and srengthening love on our planet.[image error]

Zeitgeist!

I was skimming an ezine where this editor was remarking at how futuristic gizmos and gadgetry of the original Star Trek (1966-1969) is taken for granted today from wireless communication to smart computers but what is still to come of age is that sense of racial harmony and well meaning spirit of exploration (and I’ll add, emphatic leadership) that so memorialized the series.

If scientific progress outgrows the emotional maturity of a race on one hand and on the other, mental evolution comes full cycle while science plays catch up, what you may ask, is the stumbling block in each case and why is it so important that both go hand-in-glove?

The most obvious answer is religious dogma. Now, religion can offer a moral compass to what is right and wrong but history is witness that opposing science or waging wars in the name of religion suggest scriptures or transcribed words of a founder (regardless of how sincere he or she was) are wide open to literal misinterpretation, especially when passages are likely to be lost in translation or re-interpretation by a less realized soul can leave one happily confused at best or fearful at worst! Is it wise to accept every single belief (and label anyone who question as heretics) when it only encourages grasping and narrow faith rather than generosity and kindness? Unfortunately, the tainted buck does not stop with religion and sorry to say, in this day and age with all the surplus cognitive feedback, atavistic dogma still seeps through country, culture, color among a ‘gentrified populace’.

This leads to cases of ‘ethical mirage’ – men and women with authority or power in every walk of life who by their experience, worldly or supernatural, viewed with awe or god like deference and therefore considered infallible and beyond reproach even when they go against the grain of plain decency, basic humanity or understanding. Is it not the job of true leaders to create more leaders who can think independently and act for themselves or to create a circle of die-hard followers? Loyalty is a blessing when it flings open your perception and a burden when it confines it! This is where a scientific attitude works as it helps you stay curious, explore alternate arguments and moreover, maintain objectivity specially when your own ‘unconscious bias’, even if you mean well, can polarize thinking.

Finally, hard-boiled skepticism. Recently, I shared a report analyzing socioeconomic trends of the last 100 years that surmised despite what some may opine, the world is actually changing for the better and surprised when a history professor of some repute decided to troll and slam-dunk the research, first in passive aggressive tones only to go verklempt when I offered to lighten up. Notwithstanding the fact he really needed to pull his chair into the sun, it taught me that some people don’t even want to look at data that conflicts with core beliefs and no matter what you tell them, they will conveniently flip it around and toss it right back at you. Although a healthy amount of skepticism is necessary to think through a balanced argument, being negative is not how we make progress. True, we all have cognitive biases that can make us think in a local and linear way but if we get past that, we may notice an opportunity where others see a problem. This isn’t all pollyannish thinking as a dyed-in-the-wool realist might like to say, cause nothing worthwhile can ever be achieved if every little objection must first be overcome!

Bill Gates famously said, most people overestimate what they can do in one year but underestimate what they can do in ten years. Given the pace of exponential technology, it is a foregone conclusion that many of our jobs will be automated more or less in the near future or done by robots who can do it faster, cheaper and work longer and even if you think, that’s unlikely to happen to you in this lifetime given your particular skills, mind you it wasn’t raining when Noah built his Ark, so why not just start by cracking open your most limiting belief this year or challenge yourself to be more kind by the end of week? You could be somebody’s hero, you know and I promise, your future self will thank you…

Seven Ways to A Better Earth

We all have witnessed fears concerning climate change owing to industrialisation, pollution and exploitation of earth’s natural resources, while wars and religious extremism have fueled political exploitation of land based on dogmatic justifications. While earth has suffered there is still a ray of hope if we can follow some of the paths of wisdom, peace and greater abundance.

Spiritual Unity vs Divisive Religions: We have all seen that fear-based religion has merely been a tool used by some people claiming absolute power, religous superiority or authority to control land, resources and minds.  We can all awaken and see through this pattern so that we are no longer victims. Instead of blindly following religious texts that promote one specific deity over others and divide us against each other we need to be able to be at peace within ourself individually and to offer peace to each other through self-realization. Inner contentment and inner joy can help us refrain from fighting for worldly resources by understanding that we can all manifest a happier and abundant life through positive inner consciousness instead of submission to an outer religious precepts. [image error]
Life Purpose vs Jobs: Industrialization and material dependency was based on a fear that earth has limited resources and we all must exploit it to the maximum. Since childhood we were programmed to support corporate infrastructure where humans are more or less treated like robots and eventually replaced by AIs. In contrast when we awaken spiritually, we discover what truly gives us inner joy and happiness and switch to professions that fulfil us at deeper levels of creativity, wellbeing and peace. We see emerging professions of spiritual and intuitive nature focused on holistic health and natural lifestyle. Education could be more inner-focused than simply rote based on rule-based so that our kids learn how to understand themselves and manifest their own positive reality through better choices.[image error]
Simple Lifestyles vs High Fliers: The glamour of being millionnaires or celebrities led many of us to mindlessly imitate leaders of business, movie stars or politicians instead of looking within ourselves. A spiritual focus helps us get back to our real needs of peace, inner comfort, health and wellness. We need less of expensive brands, artificial makeup, fine-dining, fashion labels, lavish holidays, snobbish parties, sports cars or high-rises to give us satisfaction. We value and cherish a tidy home, healthy food, fresh air, clean water, healthy body, natural beauty, a happy heart and a peaceful mind. We can attract helpful people, social networks, friends, pets and colleagues around us who enjoy working and interacting with us based on our soul-purpose and higher consciousness. Natural Foods vs Processed Foods: Our main need for food is something that can be fulfilled through nature itself, yet we depend on corporations who give us processed and packaged foods that are not only harmful for health but also a strain on our finances and earth. We can all learn to grow some food at home or support our organic local farmers by purchasing healthy vegetables instead of depending on supermarkets that sell chemical and pesticide laden food, tinned or processed foods with harmful additives. Our spiritual focus gives us an intuition of well-being through which we are naturally drawn to healthy choices and pick up raw foods that improve our physical and mental fitness. A vegan lifestyle can additionally help us improve the condition of animals in our world so that we can stop cultivating them for being killed or exploited without  any real reason.[image error]
Eco-Homes versus High Rises: Our cities no longer need to be turned to concrete jungles where people crowd to find corporate jobs. We can all live close to earth in eco-friendly homes where we have nature around us for meditation and wellbeing. A love for nature helps us develop a healthier environment which is less polluted or noisy. Country-life can be valued more than city-life. Solar power and green energy keep increasing in demand with coal based or petrol power reducing its monopoly. Homes need not be very large or expensive simply to project an image of power or prosperity. Instead we can have more spiritual townships where people follow more eco-friendly, less materialistic and peaceful ways of living in mutual harmony and cooperation.[image error]
Free Travel versus Polluting Vehicles: Traveling for long hours to and fro everyday simply to earn a living could be obsolete soon. The need to own a car can be reduced and public transport can be made less stressful if people can work from or near to their homes. This can be manifest through greater personal freedom and independence which can be an effect of spiritual lifestyles. We could also relocate to places of nature where we find our tribe and associate with positive people and work together for the common good. Walking or cycling could be the preferred transport option instead of polluting vehicles. In futuristic terms space travel could improve with free-energy instead of polluting energy.[image error]
Intuition versus Advertising: Our high cost of living is not due to the basic costing of goods but largely contributed due to corporate advertising and mass-media costs. As we discover our spiritual or heartfelt connection with the universe we depend less on traditional newspapers, television and mass-media that feeds us negative or unuseful data. Through inner self we feel more peaceful and stress-free. With people we make genuine interactions that further our higher purpose, we need not depend on corporate advertising to tell us how to live and what to buy as our intuition guides us. When lifestyle becomes less consumeristic and more natural we will  automatically see that most of our needs are met from within instead of outside, and consecutively our brain need no longer be attacked with constant advertising messages bombarded from all sources.[image error]
