Review - The Captive Imposter by Dawn Crandall

Picture It's here: my review for the third book in The Everstone Chronicles.

Where to start? I can't decide if I want to sigh or scream with adoration. I want to say this was my favorite but when I think back over on The Hesitant Heiress (reviewed here) and The Bound Heart (reviewed here), I don't think I can pick a favorite. They are all so good for their own reasons.

So let's start the review. Let me first tell you that I'vebeen looking forward to Estella Everstone's story ever since The Hesitant He...

TBT - The Reluctant Prophet by Nancy Rue

Picture It's TBT and I'm excited to talk about Nancy Rue's The Reluctant Prophet. Book one in The Reluctant Prophet Series, itwas released in October of 2010.

I discovered this book one day on a trip to the library and the back cover blurb intrigued me and so I took a chance on the author. (I had never read a Nancy Rue book before.)

Wow, was I glad I took the chance. This read was entertaining but one that made me think.

Here's the premise so you can see why: "At age forty-two, Allison Chamberlain is s...

Review - Ronie Kendig's Embers

Picture It seems like I haven't done a review in awhile, so I'm excited to share my thoughts about Ronie Kendig's latest release, Embers.

Embers released October 16th and I jumped at a chance to buy it. In fact, you may remember seeing it on my Friday Sales, New Releases and Giveaways blog post.

Some of you know I go all fangirl when I talk about Ms. Kendig's novels, but how can I not when she delivers "rapid-fire fiction?" As an Air Force Veteran, I fell in love with her military heroes and she made...

Picture 1. J.M. Downey's Privileged
I went to a book party on Facebook Friday and discovered Ms. Downey. Her book Privileged is the first book in the American Prince series.
