Okay, kids. My new book, Anyone Can Be President, is now available for pre-order.

Plus, I’ve taken over @knockknockstuff’s Instagram Stories for Presidents’ Day.
Seriously, though, the book is great for teaching kids about presidential politics and history… except I make a weed joke or two. And I mention Bill Clinton’s penis.
But, other than that, it’s kid-friendly.

How the Vista XG Sedan Ruined Henry’s Life
All of this fretting over whether the porn ban will kill tumblr or not (it totally will) inspired me to seek out a new platform. And I landed on an old one.
Well, it’s not old old, but Medium’s been around for a while. When it came out I thought it’d be another Ello, which was the hot new shit for all of four days. But alas, Medium has hung on and attracted some pretty interesting users.
And I’m a writer by trade and Medium is specifically for writers, so I’m firing things up over there. The link above will take you to a mobile-friendly short story I wrote eons ago.

You’ve undoubtedly heard tumblr will be deleting “adult content” starting Dec. 17, 2018.
As a longtime tumblr citizen with a username (and, let’s face it, language) that will almost certainly get the wrong kind of attention from whatever brainless algorithm is tasked with cleaning up this circus, please take my advice:
Back up your content now. Here’s how.
I can honestly say I would not have the career I do without tumblr. For that reason, this platform will always be special to me. But since its global popularity was built on adult content, I’m deeply disappointed by this move.
But what do I know? I still think farts are funny.
I’m really not sure how jacked up my tumblr will get when the new overlords push the censor button on the platform. If it wrecks my site and my decade of content (yes, a decade), I’ll most likely be looking for a new online home.
I hope that doesn’t happen. But you bet your butt I’m backing up my content today.
