Be the howling moon
or the quiet wind.
Be Orion and his
starlight shield.
Be the road with no
street signs.
Be waylaid plans;
the lost map.
Arrive on the sidewalk
without knowing where
you are going.
Be the lightning bug.
The crickets,
telling secrets to
the air.
Be the couple walking
into the privacy of
nightfall,
Be their watch. Be
their hands.
Be the cafe always
open late, slide
into the flow of
the coffee.
Be the noodle slip

7 DAYS: OUR WEEK OF PEACE * DAY ONE: NATIVE AMERICA
It’s tomorrow in some places in the world but we, in Cali, still have 3 more hours.
Look tomorrow for the 2nd day of peace.
Peace, love & justice for all,
Sherrie
I do not consider myself homeless. I could not find Peace anywhere else, so I moved back to nature and I am at Peace here. The elements watch over me. And in return I give back. The old owl alerts me to danger. And when it was drowning, I saved its life.
You have to give something back. Otherwise, it doesn’t work. If you ever want Peace, you have to find it in yourself and then being willing to do whatever it takes, to give Peace away. – Psy Phi, a homeless Native American
DAY ONE: NATIVE AMERICA
PRESENTING NADINE JORDAN, SACRAMENTO
“1855 a cool night, she moves swiftly, following the road marks of the Underground Railroad, freedom is ahead. The promise of a new life, but she is afraid and a lone. The darkness crushing her tightly, only the light of the moon shining on her path. As the…

People Who Love Themselves
This is one of the best quotes I’ve ever seen!

Truth
I don’t think just the fact of being a woman makes one any better a politician & I’m not happy at all with the Dem’s foreign policy (supporting dictators & NAFTA, etc.), but I am pretty impressed with Hillary’s support of the American people that Trump considers “throw-aways.”
Also, I will always being angry that the media ignored Bernie, the most popular candidate since Kennedy, BUT that’s on the media & the entire DNC, not just Hillary.
Peace, love & justice for all,
Sherrie

The Happiness Tag..
Sorry, Maria Job, that I missed your tag. Not sure how that happened (except maybe it’s because I don’t know how to tag people on WP? ;-))
So, here goes. This is off the top of my head, so I will probably end up coming back & adding something important that I remember.
5 Things that Make Me Happy:
1) My husband. Always no. 1. Don’t have to think about that. Except he might not like being called a “thing.”
