Blessings
The Irish have some of the most beautiful blessings I’ve heard. And I’ve heard many!

When children complain show them this…
It seems that many of our sayings come from the Irish & other Gaelic languages. I guess we made our own sense out of them!

Your Body Holds the Answers for Your Transformation
I don’t think I’ve ever (re)posted anything like this, but I do have a spiritual side that I believe has taken me where I’ve gotten since 2001. I also recently read another book on “Healing through Writing” & I truly hope to someday be a part of helping others tell their story & heal, whether they be young people or seniors.

DAY SIX: THE LITERAL PEACE SIGN PARADE * 7 DAYS: OUR WEEK OF PEACE CELEBRATION
Thanks to all who joined the Week of Peace. Sorry to be posting late, but my heart has always been with those who want a world where no one has to be afraid because of how they look on the outside. Having worked with the homeless, I have heard many stories and I feel fortunate that I do not need to add my own voice to this, though there is a chance that I still will add that voice.
Peace, love & a joyful heart for all,
Sherrie

7 DAYS: OUR WEEK OF PEACE * DAY FIVE: LAW ENFORCEMENT / PEACE OFFICER AND YOU
I just hope & pray that police & their supervisors will stop siding always with the brethren in blue. I know most police are good people, but it does not help if they refuse to see the wrong in another’s actions.
I am grateful to live in my quiet city where I have yet to hear of the police killing someone. Could it be that I am not listening? Could it be because blacks are a very small minority here?
I hope & pray for the day when we can all live together in peace.
7 DAYS: OUR WEEK OF PEACE * DAY FOUR: AN EDUCATOR’S ROLE IN PEACE
As an educator, this is very important to me. I have always tried to find ways to teach peace, though I wasn’t always understood.
