African Americans on the Move Book Club S.Y.P.H.E.N. Review-3 STARS

The story was easy to follow, but the characters didn’t seem like military trained people- too much squabbling and disrespect of their leaders order, seems counter to what was trying to be establi...

The solution to storing San Onofre's spent nuclear fuel

No one really likes the idea of storing spent nuclear fuel rods at the edge of the mighty Pacific Ocean, even if they are sealed in stainless steel canisters, encased in concrete and partially buried. What would happen to the millions of people living within 50 miles, or the Pacific's marine life, if there were a leak or...

March is here and I'M MAD!
Well, NCAA fans my brackets are toast! Middle Tennessee State did the unthinkable! Players Denzel Valentine, Bryn Forbes and coach Tom Izzo of the Michigan State Spartans are probably still in disbelief when their season ended in the first weekend of March Madness. Goodbye, Championship Game finale. In fact, the Midwest Region, which included Michigan State, is a disaster. However, in the South Region, my chosen opponent for Michigan State, Kansas, handled their business the first weekend and...

March Madness is here!!
Well basketball fans, it's finally here! NCAA's March Madness starts today and I won't belabor you with the details. I filled out my bracket late Tuesday. The last time I participated was in 2014. I had Florida v. Louisville for the championship game. Wrong, wrong, wrong. UConn 60 Kentucky 54. I didn't get a bracket filled out last year, so 2016 here we go. My final game: Michigan State 65 Kansas 63. Cut down the nets, Sparty! So, here's my question to you in blog reading land:
Who ya with

Enter the S.Y.P.H.E.N.
I like filmed Science Fiction. At some point in those stories, that cool Sci-Fi blue (I, ROBOT poster) will emerge onto the screen and man, I just settle back and enjoy the show. It's not often that African-Americans get to battle the forces of the unknown not just in Sci-Fi, but Fantasy and Horror as well. Combining those two threads and in my mind's eye, that wonderful entity called, imagination, I wrote a screenplay based on a concept that was originally set in the 1800s. I wanted to juxta...
