Thursday Time: When You Realize You're a Writer

Because you'd rather live in your head than someone else's stories.

Because when you don't write, the world becomes grey and cold.

Because even when the writing's hard and the words won't come, there's nothing else you'd rather be doing.

Because you're willing to go through pages and pages of crossed out words just to find that single, perfect one.

Because the hours of painful writing are always worth it when you hit that soft, easy flow of right-brain story-telling.

Writing Challenge: Day #3

Seriously. Is the month done, yet?  Am I at 15K? 

As crazy wonderful as yesterday was, today was brutal for the writing(maybe because I was putting out fires and trying to get some things to stop going sideways).

BUT I got in 466 words, which was more than I thought I'd get done.

AND in one of my writing classes, I had a mom tell me that her son was writing more, more willing to write, and she felt this was the best program she'd seen.
