A triumphant return to the status quo! Is the result exciting and different? No. But the emotional response is high as we go into our climax, and I think that makes this a pretty decent arc.

Like the rest of the V3 of the second Ultimate universe, this feels like wheel-spinning. Nonetheless, the formation of the Ultimates V3 does have to count as some forward movement, and the one-off stories continue to be intriguing.

This I would have to call an uneven volume. We get a long, pointless fight with Hellgate. Then after his abrupt disappearance we get an intriguing new take on Peter. But then that seems to be undercut by the cliffhanger. So, meh? Not loving the new Joe K ...more
