Patriotic Berry Trifle

Patriotic Berry Trifle

This bright and fresh dessert is always a crowd-favorite! I love it because it doesn't require any cooking, which is perfect for those hot summer months.

Strawberry Balsamic Salsa

Strawberry Balsamic Salsa on the Welcome Home Blog

Sweet strawberries and fresh herbs tossed in tangy balsamic vinegar create a delicious salsa with endless uses. Scoop it up with pita chips, toss it with spinach leaves for an easy salad, or use it to jazz up strawberry shortcakes! We also think it’s delectable on a goat cheese-topped crostini.

Cheesy Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Cheesy Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Portobello mushrooms are the perfect vessel for this cheesy, spinach filling. Letting them cook on the grill is quick and easy, and injects a smoky flavor to this delicious, ooey-gooey appetizer. It is also a great main course for vegetarian friends at your next cookout.Use a wet paper towel to gently rub clean the outside of the mushroom caps. Carefully remove the stems, then use a spoon to scrape out the gills. Rub caps all over with the oil, then set aside.
