In this novel, I mention a meatloaf sandwich so I wanted to share this recipe with you all that was inspired by the book! These Meatloaf Sandwiches take leftovers to a whole new level.

Peach Blueberry Buckle

Peach Blueberry Buckle

A buckle is a cross between a cake and coffee cake, so who’s to stop you from eating this for breakfast? A buttery cake bursting with peaches and blueberries sounds like the perfect way to start a summer day to me!

A Walk Along the Beach | The Inspiration Behind the Book

A Walk Along the Beach | The Inspiration Behind the Book

Most of the stories I write don’t have a direct connection to me. An idea will pop into my head and I’ll run with it. A Walk Along the Beach is the exception. This story is personal. I lost my best friend to cancer May 21, 2018. Roberta Stalberg (Christina Skye), and I shared a love of knitting, travel, plotting and so much more. We laughed and cried together.
