One Last Visit to Unbreakable Bonds

Saying goodbye to the Unbreakable Bonds series has been difficult. Rinda and I never thought the series would last for so many books, that it would have a spin-off series, or find so many devoted readers.

We have loved writing Lucas, Snow, Rowe, Ian, and their lovers. They have made us laugh, groan, and cry. They have helped me to learn so many strange and wonderful things. Probably gotten me on a few watch lists for my internet searches too.

After eight novels and four short story collections, we wanted to write one final short story for readers as a big THANK YOU. Thank you for reading. Thank you for sharing the books you've loved. Thanks for telling us how we've entertained you.

For this final short story, we're going back to someone we first met in Shiver - stylist B. He's the stylist who gave Andrei a trim after some of his hair was burned.

Here is a quick description:

Take one fabulous hair stylist.

Add a chicken, a robbery, duct tape, and a stripper.

What do you get?

Most likely, it’s a day with the Unbreakable Boys.

B has been cutting Lucas Vallois’ hair for nearly eight years and he finally get his hands on all of Lucas’s friends as they prepare for Ian’s wedding.

It was just supposed to be a day spent with a bunch of sexy men.

How could things go so wrong?

The Unbreakable B is a 15,000 word short story set between Fracture and Ignite that gives a fun glimpse into the lives of all the couples as they prepare for Ian’s wedding. Get ready for one crazy afternoon!

Sound interested? We had a lot of fun working on this one! Be sure to grab it now. This short story will be available for free for a limited time.
Grab the free short story here!

In addition, be sure to check out the Free Short Story tab on our site for any new story giveaways.

Happy Reading!

The Final Book of the Unbreakable Bonds Is Here!

It's hard to believe that this day has come. We've been on so many amazing adventures with Lucas, Snow, Rowe, and Ian.

We've watched them get into so much trouble, argue, make up, play tricks on each other, laugh, and most importantly... fall in love.

Rinda and I have loved every second of bringing these characters and this world to life. We never thought it would stretch over so many books and so many characters.

But I'm happy that we've brought things full circle to Ian and that we are leaving the guys in a very good place.

Defrosting Jack Is Out

Can you believe it?

t's times for another Christmas novella!

I've got to admit that Jack almost didn't get his story. I thought Snowball's Chance was going to be the last of the Ice and Snow Christmas books.

But after readers finished the third book in the series, they started asking about Adam's older brother as he headed for divorce. This guy needed love!

And after I thought about it, I couldn't have agreed more. Jack definitely deserved to find love and what better time than during the holidays!

If you've not checked it out yet, here's a quick description:

35. Newly divorced. Single dad.

Jack Reynolds never thought he’d be wading back into the dating pool at this point in his life.

To brave the singles scene, Jack decides he needs to lose his dad bod in favor of something a little more cut.

And getting back into shape is a lot easier with the help of his new friend, Corbin Barnes.

But then, Corbin just has a way of making everything easier and fun.

Even with his family drama, Corbin keeps Jack laughing with his amazing sense of humor and those sexy smiles.

Whoa…wait a minute! Sexy smiles?

Yeah, Jack can’t deny it. Corbin is a very sexy man.

Jack treasures his friendship with Corbin, but is he willing to risk it to take a chance on something that could be everything he dreamed of…with a guy?

A very sexy, sweet, younger guy.

Jack might need a little Christmas magic to figure this one out and still get his happily ever after.

Defrosting Jack is a standalone MM holiday novella that has two cute kids, a meddling younger brother, a disapproving father, a sexy nun, a sprinkling of Christmas magic, and dirty fun with dessert.

The fun doesn't stop there! Defrosting Jack is the fourth book in the Ice and Snow Christmas series. In this holiday series, you get to meet four different couples as they meet and fall in love.

Walking on Thin Ice kicks things off with a fake boyfriend tale.

Ice, Snow, & Mistletoe focuses on a friend you meet in Thin Ice as he gets his second chance with the one who got away.

em>Snowball's Chance is an enemies-to-lovers coworker story and you just might get to see some friends you met in the previous two stories.

And finally, Defosting Jack turns to the older brother of one of the main characters in Snowball's Chance as he falls for a younger guy in this coming out later in life story.

You can read the entire series now. I'm not planning any more for the Ice and Snow Christmas series. If I release another Christmas novella next year, I will likely be starting a brand new series.

Happy reading and happy holidays!

Claiming Marcus Is Now Out!

It's here! It's finally here!
I'm so excited to announce that CLAIMING MARCUS, the first book of the Lords of Discord series is finally out! You can pick up the print or ebook today. I'll be looking into the audio book very soon. We're just finishing up the Exit Strategy first.
But back to vampires!
Yes, the Lords of Discord series is my jump back into writing paranormal books. I have always loved vampires. I love their powers, their sexiness, their violence, their long lives. I just love it all.
I started writing vampires more than a decade ago with the Dark Days series, but decided to take a break from them until I finally had something new to say.
The Variks are a family of four brothers - Marcus, Rafe, Beltran, and Winter. They all decided to become vampires to protect their mother. But that decision had more repercussions than a drive for blood and an extremely long life. Someone wants all the Variks dead and the brothers are starting to unravel that mystery while maybe finding a little love along the way.
If you've not grabbed CLAIMING MARCUS yet, here is a quick description:

Vampires slaughtered my family.
No one believed me until I met some new friends, who promised to help me get justice.
But nothing prepared me for Marcus Varik.
Tall, dark, and mind-numbingly sexy.
But he’s also shy, protective, and adorably eccentric.
Oh God, I should have never agreed to betray him.
Hopefully, it's not too late to fix my mistake before I lose more people I love.
Claiming Marcus is the first book in an MM paranormal romance series that has vampires, betrayal, annoying brothers, music, heartbreak, hope, sexy times, and a raven named Ozzie.

Jump into this new adventure today!
Happy reading!

Your First Look at Wesley

In case you missed it in our newsletter, we are excited to finally share the cover and all the dirty details for ALL FOR WESLEY, book 2 of the Pineapple Grove series.

Isn't that a sexy cover?

Would you love this guy to be the owner of the next B&B you stayed in?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

You get the chance to meet Wesley in SOMETHING ABOUT JACE (Book#1) and it's Wesley's employees that you meet in the novella DREW & MR. GRUMPY (Book #1.5).

But it was definitely time for Wesley to get his own book so you can learn the outcome of his battle with posh hotel developer Nathan Randall.

Here are all the fun details on the book:

A B&B owner takes on a posh hotel developer in this enemies-to-lovers story with plenty of South Florida heat.

The grudge match is set to get nasty.

Wesley and Nathan are willing to pull out all the stops to achieve their dreams.

They just never expected the heat between them to carry over to the bedroom.

After one reckless night burning up the sheets, Wes and Nathan can’t stay away from each other.

But is there any hope of them having their happily ever after when it means someone has to give up his dream?

All For Wesley is a standalone enemies-to-lovers MM romance with sneaking, spying, family troubles, helpful movie stars, one poorly timed hurricane, and all the feels.

ALL FOR WESLEY will be out on Friday, October 4. Less than a week away!! Pre-order your copy now so it's on your ereader the second it's available.

If you haven't started reading the Pineapple Grove series, now is the perfect time to get ready for the new book.

And don't worry if you happen to notice that Amazon says that ALL FOR WESLEY is book 3. You aren't missing a book. Amazon doesn't allow half numbers, which is what the DREW & MR. GRUMPY novella technically is. We have to count it as #2 and WESLEY as #3.

Returning to Pineapple Grove

Pineapple Grove is a special place for me. The idea for the series was born out of a place that I lived for roughly five years.

When I got a job offer for a great position in South Florida, my husband and I crossed our fingers and packed up our things. We left behind a frigid and snowy Wisconsin to drive a whole lotta miles south to just about the farthest south you can get and still be in the U.S. We had no idea what we were in for, other than the fact that we were leaving behind snow, ice, and digging out the car for the morning commute. I was willing to give all those things up.

In return, we got an interesting city, great friends, amazing food, and well... hurricanes, but we all know that no place is completely perfect.

Pineapple Grove is a small arts district in South Florida right next to Delray Beach, which is where I worked. After five years of walking around the city and exploring, I thought it would be an interesting place to set some romances.

Every year, we watched snowbirds, tourists, and locals living, shopping, eating, and laughing. Life was quiet and relaxing. But I thought we could spice things up with a little drama and of course, sexy nights.

Readers first got the glimpse of the Pineapple Grove world with SOMETHING ABOUT JACE. Rinda and I had a lot of fun introducing Jace as well as his friends and fellow business owners. We fell in love with their quirky personalities and their dedication to their family of friends.

It also didn't hurt that after meeting Trent in SADISTIC SHERLOCK, we knew that we had to give the poor guy his own happily ever after. And there was no one who fit him better than Jace and his South Florida crew.

To keep readers hooked on the South Florida sun, we returned for a fun novella, DREW & MR. GRUMPY. Drew and chef Carson (AKA Mr. Grumpy) work for Wesley at the Wilton Cottage B&B. And what better place for a little romantic drama than a B&B?

Rinda and I are excited that we're going back to Pineapple Grove and Wilton Cottage in the next book to check on Wesley. In SOMETHING ABOUT JACE, we reveal that Wesley is having some trouble with a hotel developer who is after his property. In our upcoming book ALL FOR WESLEY, you're going to get all the fun dirt on what Wesley does protect his precious B&B.

But has Wesley finally met his match in Nathan Randall?

We are going to be releasing the full details for the book, including the cover (which is soooo HAWT) and the preorder link, next week. But to see it first, you've got to sign up for our newsletter.

Don't worry, we're not going to bombard you will emails or give your email address away. We only send out one monthly newsletter to keep you updated on all that's happening with our joint and solo books! (And we've got a lot of goodness still coming out in 2019!)

Sign up for our newsletter today and keep up with all the fun news!

Jocelynn Is Going to GRL

I have good news. I have lucked in to a featured author spot at the upcoming GayRomLit Retreat in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I will be there from October 17 - 20. I've got some swag, a few special giveaway, and I'm slated to do a reading. Unfortunately, Rinda isn't able to attend this year, but we're hoping that she will join me for another one at a later date.

If you are going to be attending GRL this year, please be sure to grab me and say hi. I love meeting readers and catching up. And if you ask sweetly, I might even share some sneak peek secrets on what's coming up next for Rinda and me.

If you are going to GRL and you'd like to pre-order some signed books, the deadline to place your order is September 13. You can click here to go to the order form. Since Rinda can't make it, we are making bookplates for her to sign and they will be placed in the books.

Rinda and I don't get out to too many conferences, but I'm hoping to increase my appearances soon. This will be my only one for 2019. I don't know what 2020 brings just yet. However, I will soon be announcing my first international appearance in 2021. If you have any conferences you'd like Rinda and/or me to consider, please leave a comment.

In the meantime, I'm finishing up the first book in my new paranormal romance series. I will have full details very soon, but I'm aiming for a late October release.

Rinda and I have decided on the official release date for All for Wesley. We'll have news on that soon, but if you've like to see the cover and blurb before everyone else, be sure to sign up for our newsletter. Newsletter readers are getting the first look this time!!

And in October, Rinda and I will start writing out next joint project together. It just might be a book featuring Ian and Hollis.

A Summer Snow Storm

July ended up being an incredibly busy month for writing. Not only did I work on the joint project, All for Wesley, with Rinda, but I also knocked out my annual holiday novella for the Ice and Snow Christmas series .

Now I will admit that when I started the Ice and Snow Christmas series, I was only planning to write three novellas. I just wanted to create three happy romantic holiday romps about some friends.

Walking on Thin Ice was my first chance to write a fake boyfriend story. And I got the chance to fall in love with Spenser and Evan.

Ice, Snow, & Mistletoe was a second-chance romance. And yeah, Oz and John definitely won a special place in my heart.

And then Snowball's Chance was an enemies-to-lovers story featuring the temperamental Adam and Jason.

I thought I was done.

But then a few readers started poking me about Adam's newly divorced older brother, Jack.

And that got me thinking.

Is it ever too late to find love? Or even make some important discoveries about yourself?

For Jack, that answer is a big fat NO!

I loved writing Jack's unexpected at finding love later in life.

Unlike the other stories that take place right around the holiday season, Jack's story stretched over about six months as he meets the man that will unexpectedly capture his heart. By falling in love and making a relationship work with an ex-wife and two young kids is a littler harder than Jack was counting on.

The novella is now done and in the safe hands of my editors. I thought I'd share the writing progress for this book. It didn't take me long to outline it, but the long blank spots in my writing schedule are from when I switched books to work on the new Pineapple Grove novel. While I write two books at the same time, I tend to only work on one book per day.

And with all books that I tend to work on, I put in a big push during the last week to make my deadline.

This second chart is always my favorite. I love seeing how just a couple thousand words a day steadily accumulate to a full story. There are days that a few thousand words never feel like they are enough, but this upward climb always helps to keep my writing in perspective.

Jack and Corbin's story doesn't have a title yet, but it will be out on Friday, November 29 (Black Friday). In the meantime, you can grab up the other three novellas in Ice and Snow Christmas series now.

Final Lover Is Now Out!

Today is a bittersweet day.

I'm so happy to announce that Final Lover is now available. I have loved writing the insane romance of Justin and Gabriel. I would plan out the events of the book, but the characters always managed to surprise me with their antics.

I'm sad to be saying good-bye to them, but I'm so glad to leave them in a good place for their happily ever after.

Here is a quick description of their latest adventure:

Two assassins meet, don’t kill each other, and fall in love.

It’s happily ever after, right?

Not so fast.

Reformed mercenaries Justin Mallory and Gabriel Prescott have taken the big leap of living together. They’re even working together.

But “one last job” has them taking a falsely accused man and his young son into their home for safe keeping.

While dodging bullets and fellow hitmen out for the $27 million bounty, Justin and his G Love realize that falling in love was the easy part. Building a life together might be more than they bargained for.

Join Justin and Gabriel for their final adventure as they protect an innocent man and uncover the missing piece to their forever.

You can get your copy here: getbook.at/FinalLover

If you haven't started the Exit Strategy series yet, now is a perfect time. You'll be able to read the entire series at once!

The Exit Strategy includes:

Deadly Lover

Lover Calling

Vengeful Lover

Final Lover

While I'm sad to say farewell to Justin and his G Love, I am excited to move on to an exciting new series. Rinda and I are currently finishing up the second full-length novel in the Pineapple Grove series. In addition, I am starting a brand new paranormal romance series that will be launching in October.

Happy reading!

Ignite is now available

I'm so excited. We've got a new story for Rowe and Noah now available.

It's always fun going back into the Unbreakable Bonds world. The boys are always good for a fun adventure and craziness, but it's also a chance to see them growing and changing. They're getting married and having kids. We're seeing their lives change for the better, even if they include the occasional explosion or car chase.

And that's exactly what you'd expect in a Rowe and Noah adventure.

If you've not picked up your copy yet, here are the details:

Two of Noah’s Army buddies are dead.

Someone has taken shots at Noah.

And now Noah’s former lover, JB, is a target.

Noah, Rowe, and JB team up to track down a killer trying to take out all of Noah’s old Army team in hopes of covering up a dark secret.

But this trip to Washington, D.C. threatens to unravel the perfect life that Rowe and Noah have built over the past three years. JB’s arrival in their lives have Rowe and Noah wondering if they want the same thing for their happily ever after.

Rowe is sure of one thing—nobody threatens his man. And he sets out to show anyone with a hidden agenda what a bad decision that was.

Sounds like fun, right?

You don't want to miss a second of this action! Grab your copy right here.

With this book completed, Rinda and I are currently working on the second book of the Pineapple Grove series, called All About Wesley. We are aiming to have the book out in mid- to late September. We will have more details on the book closer to the release date.

What's more, the last book for the Exit Strategy series is now up for pre-order. Final Lover will be out on August 16. Be sure to lock in your copy now!

Happy reading!
