Jackson: A Ward Security Novella Is Now Available
Are you excited to meet Jackson and Wade?
Yes, we kind of sprung this on readers a bit unexpectedly. We were contacted by a fabulous author who was pulling together a special FREE short story giveaway and she asked if we wanted to take part. Of course the answer was HELL YES!.
But then we had to figure out who? Who did we want to give a happily ever after? Who needed to shine in the spotlight for a little while?
So we dug around in our stories to see if we'd left anyone neglected and one of the first names to pop up was Wade Addams. Rinda had sneaked Wade into Ian's Valentine's Day story at the end of the Unbreakable Stories: Ian collection. He was an adorable and shy server at Rialto. He had only a few seconds on the page and you just knew this guy had a story to tell. We just had to find the right Ward Security guy to coax that story out of him.
We think we found it in Rowe's newest recruit, Jackson Kent. Yes, it's the poor guy's first day on the job and Rowe's already putting with a client.

Exciting News: Short Story Giveaway Coming Soon!
It’s hell to wait for the next book!
Between my day job and just life in general, Rinda and I can’t always churn out books as fast as we would like.
And sometimes, we need to tap the brakes or switch gears as new ideas occur to us.
We’ve been busy already this year.
Since the start of 2018, readers have gotten to see Shane and Quinn fall in love in Dant ès Unglued .
Readers have fallen for the explosive couple Marc and Royce in Deadly Dorian .
Readers attended the wedding of the year in Blaze .
And we dipped our toes into audio books with the sexy Sven and Geoffrey in Psycho Romeo .
We’ve still got a few more projects in the works for the remainder of 2018!
But in the meantime, we have a little thank-you for our readers.
On August 28, we are taking part in a special MM Back to School Short Story Giveaway! More than 30 of your favorite authors are participating. This is a great opportunity to get your hands on some awesome new stories for FREE as well as try out some new authors.
Rinda and I will be contributing our own short story…err…novella. (Yeah, we’re not so good at writing short. This short story quickly turned into a 20,000-word novella.)

A Busy Summer of New Projects
Summer is supposed to be a time of relaxation. It’s vacation and time at the beach and catching up with family.
But this summer has been anything but relaxation so far.
While I’m going through some personal upheaval and changes (nothing bad), Rinda and I are also hard at work on a number of projects.
With that in mind, I thought I’d popped in with some updates on where we’ve been and what’s still coming.
Blaze
Did you catch Lucas and Andrei’s wedding? It was the event of the year. Of course, the exciting part was getting them to the wedding in time for their big moment.

Next Audio Book

What’s more, we’ve commissioned narrator Kenneth Obi to start working on DANTÈS UNGLUED – book 2 of the Ward Security series. We will have that audio book out later this fall.
New Novella
Rinda and I have been working on a secret project!
We will have more to share on August 14, but we can say that it will be released over Labor Day weekend at the end of August.
We really think you’re going to love it. Stay tuned for more details very soon.
Ward Security #4
After a brief break from Ward Security with the release of Blaze and the secret project, Rinda and I are diving back into the world of bodyguards and the men who love them.
We announced at the end of Blaze that the next Ward Security book would in fact feature Dominic Walsh and Abe Stephens. Abe first appeared in Dantès Unglued and is Shane Stephens father. And Dom…well, he’s been around causing mischief since Psycho Romeo.
The goal is to have the book out in late September or early October. We will have more details on Ward Security #4 later this month.
Unbreakable Bonds #6
At the end of Blaze, we also announced that we would be working on another Unbreakable Bonds book. This time we will be focusing on Snow and Jude. After spending some time with Dr. Frost in Blaze, Rinda and I knew that we had to revisit the grumpy surgeon and his sexy paramedic boyfriend.
We are hoping to release the book later this winter.
Jocelynn’s Side Project
I’ve also finished the rough draft of my annual Christmas novella. This is going to be my last one for a while.
The novella will be out on Friday, November 23. I’ll have more details later this fall.

A Massive News Update
It has been an insanely busy week with some awesome book releases and great news. I thought I would pop in and provide a catch up on all the news if you haven’t heard it all.
Blaze Is Out!
Yes, we did it. Rinda and I went back into the Unbreakable Bonds world to tell another story. This time we’re going to see Lucas and Andrei’s wedding. Well…that’s the plan. Except there’s a little something that the Unbreakable Boys need to take care of first before we can get to the wedding fun. Unfortunately, that means Lucas and Snow have to go back to their hometown in Oklahoma and face some new big bads and even an old ghost or two.

Back to the Unbreakable Boys
The boys are back…
Working in the Unbreakable Bonds world was surprisingly easy despite having finished Devour and the corresponding short stories nearly a year ago. Of course, the Unbreakable boys are never far away since they are making regular appearances in the Ward Security series.
But this return meant getting back in their shoes and their lives.
And for me, Lucas and Andrei will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m not picking favorites. I just can’t. They are all special to me in different ways, but Lucas and Andrei were the first. They were the ones that I poured the most of myself into. Particularly Lucas. (Rinda can attest that I definitely have a bossy, grumpy, controlling side.)
As soon as Andrei proposed to Lucas, I knew that one way or another we’d be making another pass. We couldn’t miss out on what would likely be the wedding of the year.
Of course, I wasn’t worried about the wedding. I was more concern with getting the boys to the church on time. If you’ve read the other Unbreakable Bonds books, then you know that things don’t have a habit of going smoothly for the boys.
In Blaze , we had someone unexpectedly reaching out to Lucas for help just a couple weeks before he’s supposed to be tying the knot. Lucas was sure that it was going to be a quick trip to Oklahoma and back – no problems.
He was wrong. Very, very wrong.
In the story timeline, it’s been approximately two years since Lucas and Andrei met and starting dating. They’ve lived together in the penthouse and progressed in their careers. Their circle of friends has grown. And I think in Blaze you will see that they are still figuring out what it means to be a couple. Both men are incredibly independent and protective of each other. They are still learning what each other needs to be happy. And of course, they are learning how to make a relationship work when they are both traveling often. That can definitely make for some hot late-night phone calls.
For me, working on Blaze was getting the chance to spend time with some people who’ve become very close friends. I missed Ian’s sass, Snow’s grumpiness, and Rowe’s insanity. So don’t worry… Blaze will have all of that and more.

You might have heard…Rinda and I are heading back into the Unbreakable Bonds series with the upcoming release of

Yes, the second version jumps around quite a bit, but the problem is that there is no time lapse between Torch and Devour, which means that Rowe’s short stories had to be set after the events of Devour and at the same time as when Ian’s short stories were occurring. And with the release of Ward Security, we have interweaving timelines.

A New Unbreakable Bonds Book: Blaze
Yes, the rumors are true. Rinda and I have gone back into the Unbreakable Bonds series to bring you the wedding event of the year.
This has been one of the hardest secrets we have ever had to keep. We’ve been talking about doing a wedding novella for Lucas and Andrei since they were first engaged…possibly even longer. But it was important for us to get the timing right since we were also worried about getting the spin-off series, Ward Security off to a good start.
But we never forgot about our Lucas and Andrei.
When we finished Deadly Dorian , we figured that we finally had an opening to work on the book. The only problem was that the boys refused to be confined to a novella. They wanted another adventure to ring in the nuptials just right.
You know, something with sex and explosions. Maybe a fist fight. Or at least a dead body.
Otherwise, Rowe would have just gotten bored, or up to mischief.
So, Rinda and I are excited to announce Blaze , book 5 of the Unbreakable Bonds series. It is a full-length novel and will be out on Friday, June 22. It is currently up for pre-order on Amazon, and it will be available initially in Kindle Unlimited.

Psycho Romeo in Audio!
We've had a lot of readers come to us asking if we are ever going to release the Ward Security books or Unbreakable Bonds books as audio books. Over the past several months, we done a lot of research and talked to a lot of authors who have released audio books.
They are a large, time consuming, and expensive undertaking. Definitely not for the faint of heart. We were largely on the fence.
But earlier this month, we were approached by the talented Kenneth Obi about narrating the audio version of Psycho Romeo , the first book in our Ward Security Series. After some wooing and some chatting, Kenneth completed a few auditions for us.
And we were convinced! It's time to dip our toes into the world of audio books.
Production started today for Psycho Romeo . We're excited about this new adventure and will share more news when we have it. Right now, we are deciding on a book-by-book basis.
For now, it's exciting to hear Geoffrey and Sven's adventure come to life in a totally different medium. I've never really imagined what their voices might sound like until now. It definitely has made me more aware of my word choices and the rhythm of my writing.
In the meantime, you can listen to other Kenneth Obi narrated books by Shaw Montgomery, Kyleen Neuhold, and Nora Phoenix!
We can't wait to start sharing the boys with you in audio books. Stay tuned for me updates here and in our Facebook reader group: Unbreakable Readers.

Release Day: Deadly Dorian Is OUT!

, book 3 of the Ward Security series is out! Rinda and I are insanely excited for the release of this book. We fell in love with Marc and Royce while we were working on it. They are such fun, broken, dark, troubles, playful, and sexy characters. We didn't want the book to end and we couldn't wait to finish it so we could share it with readers.

We had such an amazing time working on this book. We met some awesome new characters. We got to explore the art world and work with an artist. And we got to send the characters off on an adventure overseas.
We are hard at work on our next project. We have announced that it's a secret project and it is not part of the Ward Security series. We will be heading back to Ward Security after we finish this project. We will have more news in May.
