Michele Vecchitto is a writer and middle school teacher. She continues to hone her craft simply to breathe life into the stories living in the corners of her mind. Her poetry appears in literary journals and anthologies as well as in two self-published books.

Michele was invited to share her poetry at The Austin International Poetry Festival and was honored to have her work included in the anthology When Time and Space Conspire.

Her current project, Tales from Blarnach: The Chosen One is set to be released in May. This YA fantasy novel tells the story of a boy who must overcome his past and fight The Dark Side to become the hero he was destined to become.
