There are so many situations when you will need to be able to

That is much easier said than done, however, and many people struggle with trying to get hold of a lawyer that they are going to be able to make good use of and who will help them in the way that they need most of all. If you are currently looking for a lawyer and you are wondering how best to approach it, there are some things you may want to consider.

There is a huge difference between different types of lawyers and between the situations that you might find yourself in when you need to find one, so make sure that you are bearing this in mind as well as you can.

I was so swept up in the culture and history with this beautiful place that I went back in the afternoon to explore more.

viking delling ship review
Happy Tuesday friends! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! Today I am so excited to share my Viking Delling ship review from our Rhône River Cruise last month! This cruise was amazing and I can't recommend it enough! If you are looking to see a brief overview/walk through of the Viking Delling check out this reel HERE .
Delling- or "the Bringer of the Dawn" is one of Viking River Cruises famous long ships, is 443 feet long, was built in 2014, holds a crew of 53 and 190 guests on board. It includes four levels, 95 outside staterooms (25 Standard Staterooms, 22 French Balcony Staterooms, 39 Veranda Staterooms, 7 Veranda Suites, and 2 Explorer Suites).
The Viking Delling is known as one of the ships that travels the Rhône River so if you are interested in doing a Rhône River Cruise with Viking you may be on this ship! If you want to specifically look for cruises with the Viking Delling (which I would definitely recommend) you can do so under the Rhone River section ( HERE ) and as you look at different dates it will tell you which boat you would be on. I will be honest- I am sure they are all wonderful, but I can't encourage you enough to choose the Delling. It was truly phenomenal.
The ship was built in 2014 and features a variety of different opportunities and experiences for its guests.
The Viking Delling exemplifies in many ways the epitome of Viking River Cruises with its elegant and timeless design that y'all will see throughout these pictures.
On board there is a sun deck, an observation lounge, a library, and many more elements. In addition to this the ship features several "green" elements including solar panels, an on board herb garden, and hybrid engines.
I have said this many times about the cruise but as you step on board the ship you feel that you have truly stepped into a 5-star resort quality vacation. At each place that you turn there is little details that go a long way in ensuring that you not only feel comfortable and at home in your time on the Viking Delling but that you also feel like you are being treated like royalty.
These touches go a long way into your entire experience with Viking and the ship seemed to be a natural extension of the experience.
Boarding the ship after each excursion was incredibly easy. For those of you who have been on other cruises you know the hassle that can sometimes come after an excursion and then getting back onto the ship with swiping cards and going through security. This was the opposite experience. As we left we simply swiped our room keys and then did a quick swipe back on. It was simple, easy, and so quick. It was a little thing, but it was incredibly well organized and laid out.
Another neat thing was that going to or returning from every excursion the Hotel Manager (Daniel) and the Captain (Francois) were waiting to greet all of us. They would take a few moments to shake hands, welcome us back, and many times were helping to give a hand or say a hello. This was a neat touch that Viking has in allowing the passengers to get to know both the Hotel Manager and the Captain of the Viking Delling. It definitely made you feel like you knew everyone- staff included by the end of the trip.
Everyday we were updated about the weather and were provided umbrellas if we needed them. Our cruise was at the full capacity and there were plenty of umbrellas for each person on board.
If you haven't been on a river cruise and have only done ocean cruising than the boat will seem a LOT smaller than you may think. At the same time there was plenty of room throughout the ship and it was incredibly easy to navigate and I loved the way it was laid out. When you walk onto the ship after the gangway you come right into the reception area and are on the 2nd floor. (The floor below- the 1st floor holds some staterooms and the ship staffs quarters. We didn't spend anytime down there and unless you have a stateroom on that floor you wouldn't either. If you are interested in seeing the layout of the Viking Delling you can do so HERE .)
The second floor hosts the reception area and I just have to say that Lilana, who was in charge of guest services did such an amazing job. Her team there at the front desk was patient beyond belief, handled hundreds of questions (many of them asked repeatedly time and time again) and the warmth and compassion with incredible professionalism was inspiring. I do have a funny and sweet story of how I encountered this myself one morning. Because this was a collaboration, I was up at all hours trying to get different pictures of the Viking Delling in all different lights. The rule was that the top deck was closed from 10pm to 7am each night. Now, this was an excellent rule, because it did provide quiet to those of us in the 3rd floor staterooms. But two mornings the sunrise looked so breathtaking and I was hoping for an exception. Let me tell y'all, I am smiling as I write this, one of the crew that works with Lilana was firm that even I couldn't go up. Yes, I am embarrassed to admit that I tried using the excuse of the blog but even that got me a firm no with a smile. Y'all I have to smile and giggle a bit... I have never been told no in such a kind and firm way that I walked away marveling at how well it was done.
It also features the small store which is located directly across from reception which you can see in the picture above.
In addition to the reception area, the restaurant/dining room is on the second floor along with staterooms.
The third floor features the library, more state rooms (this is where our stateroom was), a couple of computers, access to the top deck, and the lounge and the aquavit terrace. We spent the most time on decks 2 and 3 and the top deck which was amazing!
The lounge area was open all throughout the day and you could have meals up there during meal time. We had our first meal in the aquavit area for lunch (you can hear about that HERE ), but since the space is limited we chose to eat the rest of the meals in the main dining room. In addition, each evening we gathered to hear Nuno, our wonderful program director talk about the following day activities in this area.
Because the ship was to the full capacity it was full every time we were all in there and it was neat to have everyone together.
The lounge area was also where there was a variety of different entertainment offered each night after dinner and throughout the day different lectures, demonstrations, and gatherings were offered here.
The bar was also located in the lounge and was open pretty much throughout the day. There were often special gatherings held in this area where you could also have access to free alcohol and drinks. There was also many times that we arrived back at the ship and drinks were given as a welcome back to the ship after an excursion. If you are looking for non-alcoholic drinks, you can easily substitute your drinks for juice, bottles of water, and sodas at no charge. There were also numerous options for non-alcoholic drinks at different gatherings.
One of the things that was an absolute treat was the way that the staff interacted with people. We were incredibly impressed with not only the friendly nature of the staff, but the joy that they obviously had for working on the Viking Delling. I have several posts coming about different areas of the ship and the different crew, but I honestly just can not say enough. The service was incredible. The care, respect, and kindness that they showed to each individual guest that entered was incomparable.
On the third floor outside the lounge there were these adorable stations that could be accessed all throughout the day and night that provided coffee, tea, and an assortment of hot beverages. There were also lots of fresh baked goodies and cookies that were provided. An added little touch to this area was the "real" cups and dishes that were used. This just was a little thing that brought extra class to the experience. None of these things are necessary, but it is all of the little things that make Viking the unique experience that it is.
There was also a small library that was located on the third floor. There were a range of different books that were available to read, lots of books on France, including a pretty collection of some classics.
From the 3rd floor there were glass sliding doors (on both sides of the ship) that allowed you to talk out to the staircases that led to the top deck.
The top deck (also referred to as the Upper Deck and the Sun Deck when you are on board the ship) includes a 360 degree view of the entire Rhine River that you are traveling, a shaded sitting area (also great for a rain shower!), an organic herb garden, a walking track, and a putting green.
A humorous note about the walking path that is on board. As you can see from the above picture the walking path is ... short. Hahaha. So if you are looking to get in an extra mile or two you will need to do approximately 13 or 26 laps. Lots of us got a really good giggle about this! But in all honesty- you walk so much throughout the day on each tour that you will not be needing the walking path!

If you have been dreaming of a river cruise in Europe than this one - with the Viking Delling is a definite choice to consider. It has honestly been my favorite cruise to date and the service and the extras were a beautiful gift. There were numerous times that I would turn to my mom and say- Viking- specifically the Viking Delling has this down to perfection in every way.

13 things i hated on my rhone river cruise

1. The Red Carpet Welcome on Embarkation Day and at Every PortThe Viking Delling Crew are experts in treating every guest like royalty and create such an oasis of a haven in a busy and stressful world that you will now look for this everywhere after your cruise.
2. The Views as the Delling Glided Past Riverside VillagesThe views of the different towns and villages along the cruise will have you dreaming of new places to visit and see in this beautiful area of France
3. The Fact that Our Stateroom had a VerandaThis was absolute luxury in every single sense of the way. I can not recommend this enough for this cruise.
4. The Morning Sunrises as We Sailed AlongSeeing the morning sunrises as we sailed along was the absolute perfect way to start each day. I now literally dream of mornings on the Rhone River.
5. The Shore Excursions that were far too Immersive.The history, the culture, the architecture, all of it was absolutely inspiring in so many different ways.
6. The Beautiful Doors in Viviers, FranceThe doors in Viviers, France as we walked along were completely dreamy. As I gently strolled back to the ship after our tour, one of the doors was cracked open and the owner was standing nearby. I asked if I could take some pictures of the door and the owner ended up inviting me to go behind the door and walk this beautiful pathway to a beautiful garden. It was absolutely lovely, and now I dream of doors that hide beautiful gardens everywhere.
7. The Gourmet Meals Everyday Beside Large Picture WindowsThe views as we ate each meal were absolutely stunning. Whether we were sailing or docked in a port, they were absolutely incredible.
8. Seeing the Viking Delling From AfarOn this cruise there were several ports where you can see the Viking Delling from Afar as you are walking back from a tour (
like in Arles
), or across the river while docked in Lyon. Seeing this beautiful place we called home for 7 days from afar was a constant reminder that the trip was short.
9. The Cobblestone StreetsY'all know my little love of cobblestone streets, and on this cruise there were ample opportunities to walk them which was absolutely incredible.
10. The Adorable Postes in Perouges, FranceI am not sure I need to even explain this one because y'all know I love letters and messages. Aren't these boxes absolutely adorable? If I thought that the r
ed and blue of the Canadian Postes in St. Andrews By the Sea (Canada) years ago were delightful
, this picture perfect color immediately grabbed my eye.
11. Music Trivia on Board the Viking DellingI have attended a lot of music trivia nights on different cruises (and obviously off the cruises also) but this one was so much fun!
12. The Evening Views of LyonThe views were absolutely incredible and so delightful. I wanted to get off and go walk around this beautiful city at night.
13. Absolutely EverythingSince our Rhône River Cruise on the Viking Delling in April I have been asked numerous times if there was anything that I didn’t like about the cruise and the absolute honest answer is no. The only thing wrong was absolutely everything because it was perfect and we loved every second of it. Thank you Viking Cruises and the crew of the Viking Delling for making it truly impossible to find anything that we hated or disliked at all. It was incredible.
