The Convenient Cowboy Tells Spence’s Story
The Convenient Cowboy is on sale now and tells the story
of attorney Spencer MacCormack, brother of surgeon Payson featured in Book #1 The Surgeon and The Cowgirl. For Spence, getting for custody of his son is all he wants, which is why he’s willing to enter into a modern marriage of convenience with Olympia James. This cowgirl, who is focused on becoming a first-time barrel racer, agrees to the arrangement to get the money for her sister’s tuition. What neither of them expected was their one-night stand months ago (at Payson’s wedding) would result in a baby. Now the marriage might be more real than either expected or wanted.

Book that is! Awesome Author Geri Krotow is on the Read a Romance Month blog talking about her gateway Romance. It’s a great story and it made me try and remember mine. I just can’t. I know I loved Barbara Cartland and I remember reading the Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss (found on my aunt’s bookshelf). So can you remember your first?

Cowgirls in Charge
I write about strong cowgirls in my #HarlequinAmericanRom books! Check out Harlequin.com’s Guide to Western romances that includes Jessie Leigh, who is as strong as titanium but with a heart bigger than the Grand Canyon, in The Surgeon and the Cowgirl. My cowgirl, Olympia St. James, is also ironwood strong in Book #2, The Convenient Cowboy, (out this month). This cowgirl put her sisters’ welfare first from the time she was a little girl, keeping them safe and making sure they grew up right. Now, one more small sacrifice and Olympia can fulfill her dream in the rodeo ring. The sacrifice might not be so bad since it’s a marriage of convenience with a not-so-bad-looking attorney, Spence MacCormack.
